A graceful staircase loops upstairs while slate tiles draw visitors into the expansive great room. Topped by a truss cathedral ceiling, the great room sets a stately tone with its two-stories of south-facing fenestration, circular chandelier and glass elevator. On the great wall opposite the fireplace, nine monitors combine to create a massive cinema screen or multiple simultaneous screenings. Built-in speakers above the mantle make for surround-sound immersion. Sharing a double sided fireplace with the great room, the dining room comfortably welcomes eight, in upholstered chairs around the raw-edge timber table. The open kitchen—a gourmet showstopper—welcomes spectators with an island, seating five at French bistro stools. A wall of windows lets light flood in, and echoing the rest of the schema, rock and barn wood line the walls and cabinets. A butler’s pantry includes a sink and cabinets. The adjoining breakfast nook/sun room stylishly seats four in trunk stools around a raw-edge table. The second-floor landing, encased in windows, features a game table, TV, gas fireplace and private terrace. The adjacent game room, perched above the great room, overlooks the slopes, providing a panoramic venue for fun with a ping pong table, fireplace, large flat-screen TV and wet bar. Behind the wall of bypass doors, lies a projection screen movies theater with a state-of-the-art audio system. The first guest bedroom, set beneath a peaked roof, offers a fireplace topped by a TV, a private porch, raw-edge shelving, and hide armchair. The queen bed, wrapped in a duvet, faces the fireplace and views. The en suite bathroom continues the rustic theme with a barn wood vanity, basin sink, and slate floors. The second guest bedroom is an airy enclave enclosed by windows. The upholstered bed frame supports a king bed, while a built-in window bench encourages reading beside the view. To unwind, guests can proceed to the deck or plant themselves in front of the fireplace and TV The master suite is a refuge unto itself with its cathedral ceiling, wood-burning fireplace, upholstered platform king bed, large TV, coffee bar, washer/dryer and private porch. The ensuite bathroom features a marble vanity, double rain shower, and soaking tub with valley views, not to mention the mirrors that double as TVs.. The fitness room is outfitted with multiple workout machines, built-in storage and bench, two flat-screen TVs and a washer/dryer. Returning downstairs, the guest wing offers a junior master complete with fireplace, TV, porch, plush king bed, and mountain views, alongside an ensuite bath with a glass shower and wide vanity. For kids, a bunk room stacks a twin bed atop a queen within a barn wood frame—a schema rounded out with the requisite fireplace and TV, and an en suite bathroom with a subway-tile shower. For a unique outdoor engagement, take your party to the deck above the second garage where a gracious slate patio encourages en plein air entertaining with a fireplace, grill, seating, bar and TV. The property’s proximity to Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park make it a recreational wonderland. A bike path borders the residence, allowing for car-free travel between the neighborhoods varying points of interest. Shooting Star sits within walking distance of Teton Village and only a mile away from the southern entrance of Grand Teton National Park, making it the ideal launch pad for natural and cultural immersion.
