Our family of three (including a 2 year old) stayed here in October for a wedding. Pros: -Very child friendly - The house comes stocked with a pack-n-play, baby blankets, toddler plates/cups/etc., indoor toys, and even a few outdoor toys that were prefect for a toddler. The indoor toys were HUGE in keeping him happy and entertained. -Garage space to park. We didn't need this as much, but would be really helpful when it snows. My husband and I used it as a place to workout. -Home kept warm surprisingly well. We never felt "chilly". -The kitchen served our needs. We didn't cook any meals, so can't speak to cookware, but the basics to eat snacks and take-out are there. -Very close to "downtown". You can easily walk. -Owners were responsive to messages before we got there and after we arrived. Suggestions for the owners: -Replace the bed frame in the Master Bedroom. It makes loud, creaking sounds. And I mean every. single. little. move. My husband and I got a horrible first night's sleep because we kept waking each other up. We finally decided to sleep in different rooms. (Thankfully we weren't using the queen in the other room.) -Be a bit more transparent there is someone living downstairs. This isn't obvious in the listing and something we didn't realize until after we booked. They made minimal noise, but you could tell they were there. It kinda weirded me out and made us weary about leaving valuables (iPad, laptops, etc.) in the house.

This was our second stay at this property which probably tells you everything right there. Petra has thought of most everything one could reasonably hope for when not in their own home. The home is spacious with huge windows for enjoying the view and wildlife. The location is close enough to downtown for a casual stroll to dinner, or to go get a pastry and coffee in the morning. It's also a great location for a day of outdoor adventure. Definite recommend.

We loved staying at this home for a quick overnight in Lyons! It was comfortable, quiet, and the hosts were wonderful!

We loved staying at Petra’s, even though we were only there basically to sleep it was a very nice and clean house. Check in was easy and location was perfect!

I booked this property the night before my wedding to stay with my bridesmaids and to get ready for the wedding the next morning. Property was clean and spacious. It was perfect for getting ready with a lot of natural light. The host was easy to work with and very helpful and allowed us to check in early and check out late to allow time for us to get ready for my wedding. I definitely recommend this property.

The home was charming and in a great location. It was super well equipped for toddlers. It would have been nice to have a washer and dryer. The owners were wonderful to work with.

Was in for a wedding and found this house. Very nice home in a great location. Tucked into a corner lot with great views. It is on walking distance to main street or the coffee shop. Would recommend this house if your travels take you to Lyons.

Lovely home in Lyons - well upgraded, super clean, comfortable beds, all that you need in the kitchen, peaceful setting, and walking distance to downtown and the park. Owners are super responsive and provide clear, detailed information about the logistics of check-in and check-out. I would definitely stay again!

Used this as a gathering house before our wedding in Lyons. It was perfect. So close to everything we needed to get to, spacious, pretty, and served us perfectly. Petra allowed a late checkout which was very much appreciated.

Petra's modern home is designed for relaxing in comfort while enjoying the foothills location and views including local wildlife. Although it's an easy, short walk into the heart of Lyons, the house feels more removed from the hustle of daily life. Our convenience and comfort had been considered in every room, and Petra was responsive when we had questions. This would be an excellent "home base" for day hiking and trips to Rocky Mountain National Park. We hope to be back to try that next summer. Highly recommend.

The setting and the place were both amazing! The only notes were that we weren’t able to find garbage bags to put out garbage in and it was a little tricky to figure out the a/c system. Thanks for providing us with a great stay and experience!

Lovely home in great location. Easy to explore front range from Boulder to Fort Collins. Estes Park is less than half hour away, the national park is an easy day trip. Town of Lyons has a great park with easy access to the St. Vrain River, several good places to eat, and an overall relaxed vibe. Petra is an excellent host. Would gladly stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen/living room area was perfect for everyone to be in the same place at once to visit. Maybe a bigger coffee maker? Petra was a great communicator and was very accommodating in our early check-in.

We came to Lyons for a few days of work and play with colleagues from the US and Asia. The house was comfortable, and the living space worked well for meetings. The views, local restaurants, and natural beauty helped us unwind while not working.

Petra and Matt were very responsive hosts yet, even though they lived downstairs they were considerate of our space. The property was very nice and close to all the differing areas we wanted to visit.

Our daughter had her wedding at Riverbend and the location was perfect. The accommodations of the house handled our family to a T. The downtown area within walking distance. Mat and Petra were awesome host!!!!

This property is a beautifully decorated and maintained unit located about 30 minutes from Boulder, CO. Petra and Mat were very responsive and helpful. The 3 BR/2BA layout was great for our family of 5; the open floorplan was very inviting and offered lots of natural light. You are staying above the owners who live below, but we found them excellent hosts. Beds were very comfortable, everything from towels to kitchen gear was well-stocked, wifi worked seamlessly, and the master BR is very luxurious. Overall it was an inviting and relaxing place to stay for two nights. There is also an adorable local coffee shop 5 minutes walk away that we enjoyed.

Great place to stay. Very clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. Petra was very responsive to our needs. A nice walk to downtown - Smokin’ Dave’s was a great BBQ place. Nice gas fireplace we surprisingly needed since it snowed one day! It would be perfect for a family with little kids too!

We really loved Lyons and this house is in a lovely neighborhood. The property is very nice and nicely decorated. We had a few problems. The biggest one was being awakened at 6:30 am by the owner’s children downstairs. We understand that kids are kids but it was impossible for any of us to get back to sleep with all the noise that continued until about 8 am. Also after showering we realized that the hair dryer listed in the description was no where to be found. The owners bought one and left it for us that afternoon. Things can be overlooked but then when I went to iron my travel clothes for the next day - no iron or ironing board as listed in the description. I made do but I would have brought my own hair dryer and travel iron if they hadn’t been promised. Also the stove/oven are very difficult to figure out - directions are needed. Although the property is very nice I’m not sure we would stay here again. Being awakened at 6:30 is hard to take.
