Kleinschalig familie hotel, fijne gastheer en gastvrouw. Ligt heel mooi, prachtig uitzicht over Rurstausee (wel opletten aan welke kant je kamer zich bevind, aan straatzijde lijkt mij dan weer niets). Ontbijt is niet heel uitgebreid maar er is voldoende en genoeg afwisseling. 's Morgens kun je aangeven wat je 's avonds wilt eten (alleen maandag en dinsdag hebben ze een rust dag, geen probleem want er is voldoende in de omgeving maar moet je niet lopend of op de fiets zijn denk ik). Maaltijden altijd keuze, vlees of vis, beide goed. Voor vegetariërs is de keus dan weer gering, die krijgen hetzelfde echter dan gewoon zonder het vlees of de vis. Wij hadden op zich een prima verblijf hier (met paar min puntjes zie hieronder, maar zouden zeker nog wel eens terug gaan). Omgeving is prachtig. Ideaal wandelgebied.

Grootste minpunt voor mij was dat in de kamer die wij hadden die Wifi erg matig was. Wij zaten op de bovenste verdieping, naast onze "kamer" was een bibliotheek, daar ging het meestal wel goed. Voor ons niet zo'n punt maar als je natuurlijk wek meeneemt is het storend. "kamer" had ik tussen haakjes, het was als appartement aangemerkt, was wel aardig omdat we een aparte zithoek hadden en een echte koelkast, maar er was geen fornuis of zo. Kon dus ook zelf eigenlijk niets klaar maken. Dus niet een echt appartement maar meer kamer en suite.

This hotel is about as good as it gets! Set up high in the National Park it has stunning views. Our room on the first floor had a balcony where we could sit and admire the spectacular vista. As if that wasn't enough, our room was excellent and so comfortable. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The owners go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was perfect with a huge selection, enough to satisfy anybody. At breakfast you pre-order dinner so you know that everything is cooked from fresh produce. Our evening meals were fantastic! Small but good selection of wines and beers. Wifi connection was perfect and EV charging is available in the very large car park. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel - we will return.

although very clean, we do not prefer wall to wall carpeting in bedroom. maybe an extra light to illuminate the wardrobe. a small water cooker and a mini fridge would add to the comfort level. a pitty that the restaurant was closed during our stay.
