Summer Bay Cottage is a newly renovated 3 br cottage situated at 26 Straight Street, 100m from Hat head beach. Comfortably accomodating 6 (1 queen, 1 double ,double bunk) it is ideal for both family and couples looking for a quality holiday letting. Features include large refrigerator, dishwasher and auto washing machine. Main bathroom has been rebuilt with frameless shower area. Second shower and toilet in laundry Undercover parking and outdoor cooking and entertaining area LINEN IS INCLUDED FOR ALL BOOKINGS. Foxtel. AIR CONDITIONING NOW ADDED. JUST BRING YOUR CLOTHES, FOOD AND A SMILE. COVID safe cleaning is practised with all surfaces sprayed or wiped with anti bacterial products and includes wiping down of lounge, handles, remotes etc. Unfortunately we are not pet friendly. Please note: Weekends have to be charged at a higher rate due to extra cleaning and linen costs.

Clean, comfortable and lovely house centrally located in Hat Head, a short stroll from the beach. Plenty of amenities (you don't need to bring anything, including a wonderful Nespresso machine with capsules provided). It was pricy but we did book last minute during school holidays. One big downside is that there is no Wifi. I had to work and needed it. In this day and age with everyone on their devices, I think it's an absolute must. In my view you could skip Foxtel and just offer WiFi and people can connect to their own Netflix, Disney. Other than that...a great place. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Very relaxed, low key accomodation. Close to beach and shops. Hopefully the cafe next door will be open again soon. Don’t forget to bring your own salt and pepper!

Very central location, house was neat as a pin on arrival with plenty of fresh towels, linen etc. everything works as expected. Just keep in mind the shop next door is currently not operating so you really need to bring all your groceries etc with you.

Had a fantastic time staying at Hat head. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Short walk to the beach and the creek. Had all the essentials. Would be handy to have WiFi but not a deal breaker. So great that linen is provided. Nespresso coffee was a bonus. The locals are so friendly. Great fish and chips shop nearby. Would highly recommend staying here.

A lovely, classic, simple cottage centrally located in Hat Head. Short walk to the beach, close proximity to local shops. Hosts have made sure all the little extras are included to make your stay more comfortable. The coffee machine was a bonus! We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Bay Cottage.

Hat Head did not disappoint. The property was in great location. Walking distance to general store, beach and river. The kettle was broken when we arrived (had a crack in it) but that was the only minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay again

The accommodation is situated pretty close to the beach. The location is quite and serene. It is spacious, children had space to move around. The bathroom did not have privacy lock which is a problem as we were 2 families at the accommodation. Most accommodations with kitchen provide cooking oil, salt, pepper and sugar. This accommodation has everything accept oil. Not a big issue really, but since there were no shops in the area that were open it would have helped if it was there.

Neat as a pin, very functional charming older home. Summer Bay beach house was exactly what we needed. I was impressed by the use of space in a little house. The owner has kept this shack lovingly maintained, thoughtfully equipped and tastefully decorated. The kind of house l would love to own as a second address. Everything was exactly where it should be. Owner has been brave enough to install top of the line aircon, washing machine, vaccume cleaner, massive tv. The outdoor area was great for us to park our car with boat attached, backed in, all undercover, gate closed, clean slab underfoot, hose reaches to boat. Fishing was excellent, thought l had died and gone to heaven! The laundry with shower and loo was ideal when returning each day from the beach all wet and sandy with little kids. You could wash off and place swimmers, towels etc in washing machine before entering the nice house. Proximity to estuary and beach was good. A pleasure to stay here, didn't want to go home!
