The decor was nice and the beds were very comfortable.

The stairs are dangerous and require an additional rail due to their steepness. The timed hot water was not helpful for our family. Our preference and choice would have been to have hot water on constant to allow staggered showers in the morning.

We loved our stay at Puddleduck cottage. It had all the amenities we needed, and the location was perfect. The beds were lovely and comfortable and it’s deceptively large inside!

The only thing I would have loved is a high chair to use. I know you can book these seperately as an add on but I feel for the price something like this could be included and stored away in a cupboard for guests to use.

Tile grout and silicone in shower needs some attention, felt a bit gross. Wasn't too keen on having to go down and up steep stairs in the middle of the night to use upstairs toilet. Front bedroom facing the road was noisy at times from passing traffic.

Location excellent, lots of cutlery, crockery etc, tv had netflicks and prime, we used the log burner and it was nice and Cosey,

Had problems opening the front door as it was warped, took 20 minutes on one occasion with help from a passer by. Two stairwells for access to bedrooms, one with toilet next to it.The other two bedrooms would need to use stairs to visit toilet downstairs or come down and up to the toilet upstairs. Parking was around but not next to the property. Everything else was excellent

Very convenient near the seafront with nearby parking Wooden floors and comfortable beds,chairs and good cooking facilities. Great shower. Spotless.

Cottage itself has lots of character, centrally located very close to the seaside and shops, quite location, bed linen clean, nice comfy beds, TV with Netflix and other programs, WiFi worked but not the fastest, kitchen well equipped, on arrival we received a bottle of wine and beer which was a nice touch.

2 bulbs didn't work, found ants in lounge, no toiletries (just 1 small soap), cabinet in bathroom bottom shelf is broken, steep staircase and insufficient handrail, stairs carpet is grubby, bathroom without a bath so elderly family member couldn't use shower, dust present on some furniture, floors weren't cleaned prior to arrival, patio needs cleaning. We have never had to remove the bed linen or remove rubbish as it was always part of the fee paid and we were only advised of this rule after we have made the non-refundable payment, late check-in at 4pm earlier is possible at extra charge, parking was stated as available yet property doesn't come with allocated parking & you have to find yourself a spot :/

Matching set of wine/ drinks glasses would have been nice.
