Exceptional

The rooms were fantastic, very clean, wanted to stay longer than the 1 night we had booked. Our view from our window was a field, so very peaceful.. easy drive into town for our meal. Host was in easy contact no issue there.

Loved the room, the amenities, the view, just wish we had been on the ground floor if possible.

We did not eat the instant oatmeal. We loved the view, the size, and the amenities including a small kitchen table and chairs, small fridge, microwave, desk and chair, leather love seat, ample closet space, and large bathroom with shower and tub. I know the owners know this already, but I was a little concerned about the water damage from the shower onto the wooden floors since the shower door did not close properly. All in all, this was our favorite place to stay in the Highlands.

We didn't get there until almost dark and the directions given to us were a little bit unclear especially since we had never been in that particular neighborhood and we had only spent a day trip in Fort William in 2018 so finding the place was tricky. We had difficulty locating the lockbox. And I thought I had asked for a first-floor room because my husband is disabled and we ended up climbing stairs which was difficult for him.

Bed bugs and freezing shower

Having a private room was nice, nice view outside Beware of bed bugs!

The room had bed bugs, the shower and never got hot, the bed is ridiculously uncomfortable, it's far away from town, and the owner/staff never responded to any of my messages. I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone, I didn't have a car so used a taxi to get here late at night The directions are horrible and not even where the house is located. You have to turn down a mini road left before you hit the street because I was knocking on a stranger's door for a good 6 minutes. Based on my experience, if you decide to stay, confirm the host has fumigated the room. Cleaning it only will not get rid of bed bugs.

Cozy place with great view and facilities

the couch was uncomfortable, the loo seat was loose,cheap and plastic and it was quite noisy in the morning

Did not enjoy our stay here….

1. There was no wifi…we found one free wifi but it didn’t work. No hotel provides this kind of service 2. Management is not responsive at all 3. Main door lock had issues which should have been fixed before we arrived 4. No AC or heater control….it would get suffocated at night and after opening windows, all mosquitoes would come in….there should be a mesh on the windows 5. Other than the view, nothing was good about this hotel. Will not recommend to anyone.

Everything mentioned above should be fixed for it to be friendly for customers

Lovely place, far from the center with great view. But don’t count on the shower

The view, how big the room was and having a fridge and microwave

The shower: the water had no preasure, the temperaature was either boiling or ice cold and the drain was not working properly (even with little water coming out of the shower, it started filling up)

Can’t wait to return.

The room was absolutely amazing……we booked at 5am after a freezing night in the tent so were absolutely blown away with how lovely the room and facilities were! Stunning bathroom, and appreciated a hot bubble bath, much needed after the night before! Only issue was the room below were quite loud up until around 12.30am. Despite that I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Our only issue were the people in room below were noisy right up till 12.30am but otherwise a fantastic stay.

Heating in the room wasnt working but there was an oil heater separately provided. The double bed was 2 single joined. There wasn’t much response from the owner but the information provided was enough.

Great value and very beautiful location!

That it was away from any noise of the downtown area (even if Fort William is small enough to not be considered as busy as, say, London), the room was a great size for two people, and the self check-in was pretty easy to do. Also, the bus stop was a short walk away.

The door to the shower had some staining at the bottom, and the comforter (or heavy sheet, whatever it was) that is on the bed does not properly cover two people.

Nearly perfect if not for a lack of soundproofing

Lovely full apartment, rather than room (we had a "deluxe"). Clean, very well equippped with kettle, table, bowls and plates, fridge and microwave, comfy bed, very good wardrobe space. And a bath!!! Lovely views of Ben Nevis and over Fort William.

The heating seemed very low, it was quite cold, had to have additional portable radiator on all the time. TV chanels limited, could have done with a few more, such as Sky News, Pick, the general free ones. A LOT of noise from a neighbouring room or house all night - just a soundproofing issue, coughs, sneezes, voices: but spoilt an otherwise superb room.

Happy memories in Fort William

Rooms were very clean, cosy and comfortable. We were very happy with our accommodation. Amazing views of mountains. Great location. I would have no hesitation recommending staying here.

Everything was 10/10 couldn't fault it.
