Maria and Karl have a nice studio apartment with a small private patio that opens up to their larger backyard patio--a nice place to read. The secure location has its own parking space, and is a great base to explore the rest of the island--10 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to Viejo San Juan. A short walk to Panadería España and then just across the pedestrian bridge to the Isla Verde beach.

The pictures on VRBO don't do this place justice. Very secure. Karl and Maria were very nice. Walking distance to several resturuants and bars. Very quiet. Ice cold air conditioning. Outstanding value for the money. Would stay here again in a heart beat. The bed was comfortable, I slept like a baby. The television has a lot of optional programing (english). Great parking. Beautifull landscaping. The place was very clean, bedding, shower, bathroom etc. It is small and cozy.

Good central location to have day trips to experience all corners of PR, outside metro area. Karl and Maria are pleasant, knowledgeable and great hosts. Nice beach within walking distance.

Maria is a wonderful and responsive host, and the property was very conveniently located. Perfectly sized for 1-2 guests - highly recommend! María es una anfitriona maravillosa y receptiva, y la propiedad estaba muy convenientemente ubicada. Tamaño perfecto para 1-2 invitados. Lo recomiendo!

The property was perfect for 1-2 people. There is a nice patio area to use. There are restaurants in walking distance and a great beach.

I had a late flight in. Maria was there to great me with the keys. The property was beautiful, comfortable & centrally located to all points of interest. Fabulous tropical court yard/patio. Walking distance from the beach. Look forward to coming back. Thanks Maria & Karl

Maria and Karl were wonderful hosts and very responsive. The room had everything we needed and was an easy walk to the beach and few minutes from the airport.

The location and hosts were great. The hosts were very pleasant, communicative and attentive. The room was smaller than we'd expected, tight accommodations for two adults. Could've used a full length mirror, a few more dishes i.e. coffee cups and bowls. There was only enough room for one chair in the room. Pluses include patio area was lovely, nice and private. We appreciated the large table with umbrella and use of the gas grill. Good security. Great proximity to the beach and a few restaurants. Nice extras such as beach chairs.

The studio is perfect for a couple, or a single person to stay, and is air conditioned. I definitely recommend!

We had a late (2am) and Maria made it so simple. Perfect couples space. Just the right size. A little farther from things than we thought, so a rental car is a good investment , but the host recommendations were spot on and we had a great relaxing escape 😀

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The studio is cozy and includes everything that you need. The back yard is beautiful and a plus. The studio is centrally located on the island, minutes from the airport, close to beaches, restaurants, Old San Juan, and easy to travel to the east and west of the island. A great parking space was included. Maria and Karl were welcoming host with very responsive communication. Thoughtful touches went a long way to helping us have an exceptional visit. The beaches in Puerto Rico are public and the studio had everything you needed to enjoy them, chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. Maria and Karl even gifted us with fun beach hats to protect us from the sun! We can’t wait to return!

This was an amazing location to base our vacation out of, close to great restaurants, easy to get to and from the airport and the perfect starting and ending point to exploring the island each day! The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to PR!

Both property managers were so helpful we had gotten in late and they were there the whole way to walk us through the whole checking-in process. The place was very clean and it had a outside area you could just hang out and enjoy the sun.! Thank you both for everything and we definitely will be coming back.

Maria & Karl were incredible hosts to us, and truly went above and beyond! They not only have such a dreamy home but the studio is just as cozy as advertised (if you’re lucky you get to see lizards & heat coquis!) We appreciated the recommendations & our brief encounters, we hope to be back!
