De todo los problemas que encontré lo mejor fue el recepcionista de tarde Marcos Excelente y atento

Primero avisé que mi vuelo llegaba en punto y no tenía ninguna maleta para esperar a la salida , contraté un servicio de recogida con el hotel y en lugar del chófer esperarme ...fui yo el que tuve que esperar más de 35 minutos su llegada . Al llegar al hotel reclamé una compensación en el precio y de momento se me dijo que ese era el precio . Para poder entrar en la habitación y no disponer de la totalidad de su precio ...entregué más del 70 % del total y dije que después iría a cambiar y completar el resto ....no se me dio la llave ni para dejar mi equipaje o poder entrar al baño . Finalmente me compensaron con una parte del precio del taxi ...pero todo ello con mucha tensión y malos modos ... Esa fue mi experiencia en El Calafate . Además las cabañas son muy ruidosas ...se escucha todo de los vecinos y antes de las 8 de la mañana se ponen a cortar el césped en tu misma puerta despertandote.

I do not recommend this hotel. - sink is not working properly - there is not enough hot water - they tried to charge 15% for credit card payment. we paid in USD, have not received an invoice. - the walls are thin, you can follow the conversation of the neighbors. we have reached out but they did not reply to our message.

Location is excellent. In the heart of the town. Property owner recommended good places to eat.

We really like the location of this Cabanas. Very close to commercial street - only half of a block. Close to everything you would need: restaurants, shopping, travel agencies, and you name it. Also the owner came to pick us up at the airport and also arranged transportation to the airport when we left (both with fees - totally reasonable). The owner is responsive and willing to help and the price is good - however, you get what you pay for :)

My wife and I stayed in family-owned cottages and hospitality facilities many times in the past and we knew there were always some surprises and our expectations should be a bit open-minded. I have to say that the condition here did not meet our expectation. Actually, far from it. There are a lot that can be improved, facility wise, that is. It listed as a multi-bed unit, but did not mention the major bedroom that has a double bed and a twin is on the second floor without bathroom. There is a bunk bed squeezed right in front of the bathroom on the first floor. It is hard to image for a family of five to live in the property. Hot water supply could not meet the demand for even one person - hot shower for 5 minutes, then it run out. You had to stop and wait for it to be hot again. And you had to be sure no one in the kitchen uses the hot water at the same time. There was no shampoo in the bath room was also a bit of surprise. The stuff in the kitchen were also very primitive and "beat-up". Though it could be expected because the cost is not high, but still, it could be better at least for the basics. The owner tried hard to help though. So I give a "fair" grade. Or otherwise, it would be a "disappointment".

Great cabin with great facilities. Really close to the centre of town with a supermarket just around the corner and a great little market a few doors up.
