Disappointing for the price paid

The location was good but you would want a car. The room was very small but well designed and the bed was extremely comfortable.

We had a view of the back of another unit. It was not the view that we expected and given the price for the size of the property (it is tiny) we had expected a view. Photos attached to show views from side and main window. I think we were unlucky as there were only a few properties that had this really bad outlook. We had to contact the property to get directions as these had not been provided. We were told we would not get these until the day of our arrival. It was as though they were a big secret. This meant that we only got them at the very last minute and in fact, after our checkin time and after chasing again by WhatsApp and we therefore needed data or Wi-Fi to pick them up. And the WhatsApp exchange was frankly rude and not at all welcoming. We had a problem with the electricity as it went off and the owner was very unfriendly and practically cut me off when I called. We did not really see any staff other than for this problem so cannot comment. Another guest accidentally shut themselves out of their room in the freezing temperatures and knocked on our door. I called the owner and again was met with rudeness. The fittings in the unit were cheap. The TV was about the cheapest brand you could get and we were unable to watch anything because you needed to download a specific app. The picture looked such poor quality. It wasn’t really worth watching anyway.

Strongly recommended, Absolutely Perfect.

Location has very awesome view, Clean, Quiet, Very big, Cozy room (room has everything and Sauna), The ceiling and windown glass is very clean and transparent, Room also has good view, CP value is excellent. We like this room very much even though we didn't stay during Aurora season, but we still felt perfect to stay with it.

I hope there is option for double-bed instead of 2 single beds put together

it will be better if we can know where our cabin is. Because of the darkness,it’s a little difficult to find the position of our cabin.

Nice property but staff’s challenging to communicate with

Well located, very nicely furnished with thoughtful touches, high tech little flat.

The staff were difficult to communicate. Despite us emailing many times well in advance, then calling, messaging and emailing for the last 2-3 days we only got through them the final hours- and they seemed to be mad at us for trying to reach them. They did reply the final hours and told us how to get there from the airport, tour companies, etc. It was a nice stay because of the property itself, but the staff need to be more responsive.

Good place to see Aurora and ski/sled

The view from the cabin was really nice and the scenery was great. It was a short walk to the observation tower. We were able to see the horizon when we arrived. It was also very close to the top of the cable car where we can use the sleds/ski to slide down for free!

The room was a little cramped.

Great location in top of the hill

Exceptional location with the view and experience. Self check-in make us easy. But hard to find the location since address was wrong.

Responsiveness for the messages. Its slower and booking.com has wrong address details. Please update it.

A great place to see Northern lights

A magical place with everything you may need. Besides the house, there are some darker places around where you can see Aurora at its best. Just two minutes further up the hill/ to the right there's a super nice cafe and the longest tobogganing slope :) (goes down to the city if you turn right at the fork and to the ski lift if you go left)

There's no reception, and considering how cold it can get it's best to know how and when you can check in beforehand (they were very flexible and let us check in very early, thank you!). Unless you are coming by car, it is also quite a long walk up the hill from Saariselka, I'd suggest getting a taxi.

Nice play to stay but the price is too high for what they offer

the accommodation is very nice, and we loved the chance to use our private sauna.

The kitchen, and especially the oven and the microwave, were really dirty. Moreover, for the price we payed (395€/night), we expected to have some coffee and napkins to use…

Would stay again to ski.

Great cabin on top of the mountain in a great location for the ski slope. Good amenities in the cabin. We only stayed one night but if I were skiing in Saariselka, this cabin would be perfect as self catering accommodation right by the chair lift.

nothing. but keep in mind you there is no restaurant around, you need to walk down (and up again) to the village.

Exceptional

The view was amazing and the room was great! Loved the sauna, and the fact that there were some condiments in the kitchen for our use. We also managed to see the northern lights during our stay!
