The apartment “Ai Fari” is unique: it’s located on the top floor of the tallest building in Piran a few steps from the beach and the Tartini Square. An outstanding quality is the magnificent sea view and the small historical harbour just in front of the building. The apartment is exposed to southwest towards the sea. Boats sailing in the old harbour and on the open sea enhance the view. The apartment of 70 m2 is located in the charming historical building palace Bartole-Ventrella built in 1848. An apartment 8 meters from the sea were sunlight and winds create an always changing atmosphere. From bedroom 1 you can enjoy a magnificent sea view: the entrance to the small harbour between a green and a red lighthouse, the hilly terraces with olive trees, the open sea and the Peninsula of Savudrija, Croatia. From bedroom 2 you can enjoy a glimpse of the sea. The rooms are bright and airy. The walls are white to enjoy the play of shade a sunlight by the wooden shutters. The beds are made of wood with mattresses and linen in natural fibres. The bathroom is simple with a big window. In the room for tea and coffee you can have breakfast and cold drinks and refreshments. Seasonal flowers will welcome you. The access to the apartment is independent. Me and my wife Romana will help you with keys etc. We will be glad to give you tips and advice about Piran and surroundings if you are interested. In Piran everything is nearby and the apartment is in a very central and strategic position of the town. The market with seasonal local fruit and vegetables, supermarkets, pharmacy, bank, hospital, post, library, bus station and the harbour with sea transports. Bicycles can be rented in the immediate vicinity. From Piran you can make beautiful trips by hiring a van with a driver. Getting around outside Piran Within 1-2 hours form Piran you can reach the airports of Trieste, Venice and Treviso (Italy), Pula (Croatia) and Ljubljana (Slovenia). The small airport of Portoroz is situated a few kilometers away. By car you arrive to the garage of Fornace and then there is a free shuttle to Tartini square, very near the apartment. Those arriving by sea can moor in the small harbour of Piran in front of the apartment. The bus station of Piran can be reached by feet within a few minutes. On the pier with the red lighthouse there are ships to Trieste and Venice (Italy) and Rovinj and Pula (Croatia).
