About this house rental
Just an amazing place to settle in and explore the Taupo region or just sit back and relax. Great location with lake views. Ten minutes drive from Taupo. Only five minutes walk to safe swimmers beach and boat ramp at Acacia Bay. Even quicker walk to dairy, cafe and restaurant. Includes outside fish cleaning area, BBQ, and plenty of room for tents. Get out and about and enjoy Acacia Bay lake shore walks, Whakaiapoi to Kinloch hiking and nearby mountain bike bush tracks. Special conditions: Please do not leave your rubbish - take it with you thanks Smoking allowed outside only. BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS, PILLOW CASES , TOWELS and TEA TOWELS and a ROLL OF TOILET PAPER, JUST IN CASE ONE IS NOT LEFT THERE. NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

Nice house, the dining room table was perfect for our board game. Excellent communication with the host. Lovely swim at Acacia bay reserve a km or so down the road. thankyou for the bach! :)

Property was few minutes drive away from most of the Taupō activity places but it wasn’t suitable for family.

Good place to chill, play board games... have family time. Short walk to lake, short drive to town. Quiet. Affordable & 'easy'. Everyone happy :)

The house had everything we needed for an overnight stay. On arrival, the toilet wasn’t clean. It would be good to have a coffee plunger. The coffee pot has no handle. We suggest the soap dispenser in the toilet should be in the shower. There were spots on the carpet that were there when we arrived. It may need a professional clean. We enjoyed the lake view and a peaceful night.

We have a lovely time here, very convenient as family was staying three houses down. The set up was good, lots of space and plenty of kitchenware. Lovely deck with a nice view of the lake. Would stay here again, thanks 🙏

Key collection is simple. The facility is well equipped and clean. The location is convenient for a short 5min drive to town centre for food and other amenities. Overall experience is pleasant.

The Bach is in a great location but we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness. The beds had hairs and stains from prior guests which was fine as we brought our own sheets but still unsettling. There was also alot of left over out dated food in both the freezer and cupboard and a very old looking bottle of maple syrup with ants in it. There's also near to no service and the washing machine just didn't work.

Everything as stated. Very clean, great microwave and sparkling fridge. A coffee plunger would have made it perfect Heaters were much appreciated for a winter stay. Thank you.

Everything you need, nothing you don't. Tidy clean little holiday house, perfect for small families. Nice deck with views of the lake.
Tony was very understanding when I had miss typed my mobile number in the app and very quick to respond when I made contact.
WiFi is the only thing missing, but it was very clear that this was never on offer.
