House Details: -Private, Historic, & Renovated for Luxury -Gourmet Kitchen (Wolf 6 burner range with 2 ovens, grill and griddle) -Pool and Hot Tub (Pool can be heated to @88 degrees for $75/ day March-Oct and $100/ day Nov-Feb. If temps are too low outside and the pool can’t reach 88, Host will either not heat the pool or will turn off the heater and refund the fee. MORE DETAILS: This large German Limestone home (Heinemann--Moritz Estate built in1873) was renovated for luxury! *MAIN bedroom: vaulted ceiling, tall windows overlooking the private courtyard, a King four-poster bed, TV and private marble bath (double Flemish antique porcelain sink, rain shower, and pedestal tub). * 2nd bedroom has a King bed * 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a bath with double granite-topped sinks and a huge walk-in double head shower. *4th upstairs bedroom (steep stairs- not for elderly or toddlers) has a beamed vaulted ceiling, 2 Queen beds, a TV and a private bathroom with shower. * The remaining beds (sleep up to 3 kids) are NOT PRIVATE and consist of a pullout queen couch bed in the main living room and 1 daybed in the study/game room. The gourmet kitchen has an oversized island, a bar and a Wolf gas range with 6 burners, a griddle and 2 ovens for the little chef in you! The living room is floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the lush backyard, lovingly called "The Secret Garden" by friends. The house also offers a game room/study and a Billiard Room/ living area with a TV for guests to spread out. The house offers cable television, 4 flatscreen TV's and Wifi. The dining table seats 10 with 3 bar stools at the kitchen bar. The back patio has a dining table for 8, 6 Sun loungers, a seating area for 6 by the grill and a gas fire pit with seating for 6. The front porch also features 4 rockers so there are multiple options for entertaining! The Estate is located on .66 secluded acres just one block off of Main Street. Setting includes 2 English courtyards and a large backyard with an old Red Barn! IMPORTANT: DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE if you plan on having loud or late night partying/pool use. CITY QUIET HOURS are 10 pm-7 am (and neighbors will REPORT YOU). The City is cracking down on all noise violations so POOL and HOT TUB USE ENDS at 10pm and we ask that you bring the guests INSIDE the house at 10pm. This property may use NoiseAware noise monitoring device (one interior and one exterior). It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations but simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). Violators will immediately LOSE THEIR DEPOSIT if a neighbor complains to the host. Renter and Guests will also BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY (WITH NO REFUND on the rental) if there is a 2ND NEIGHBOR Complaint OR if the POLICE are called. YOU wIll also be Liable for The NOISE VIOLATION TICKET /FINE. Permit # FBGTX-3

The property was absolutely beautiful, and so unique! Perfect space for everyone to spread out and spend time together. We used the kitchen and hot tub and it worked well for nights in and perfectly suited what we wanted- which was time together.
Jill was a lovely host, prompt, responsive, and so helpful. The property had materials for us to look at for food and great recommendations for local businesses, and she also messaged them so I could have them quickly on my phone.
We talked about coming back over spring/summer for another family trip, as it provided a great setting for all of us.

Excellence everywhere! Old house with multiple renovations. Some minor flaws, but nothing to detract from the experience. Very comfortable and modern conveniences made it function like a new home. Very private back yard and pool. Clean. Flowers, cheese tray, gift showed thoughtfulness of owners. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

We are 3 generations with 7 adults and 4 children and all are extremely comfortable in this beautiful, historic home. The pool is just the cherry on the top!
Everywhere are special touches that makes the stay more beautiful and enjoyable.
For those interested in bird watching, there is an abundant variety on the property.

My friends and I had a ladies birthday getaway and we all loved staying at this property. It was very roomy and well kept. We loved the pool and being able to sit outside on the porches. Jill was so attentive and helpful and we were very impressed with our stay here. This is definitely a property we would like to come back to.

We stayed in this charming home for my son to play in a golf tournament. The owner was super helpful and gave me recommendations for a baker so we could have a birthday cake for my son’s birthday while we were there. The locations is ideal, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of main but close enough to be there in 2 minutes. The drive to the golf course was short as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need to whip up a meal or snack. Perfect location and ideal home for a family.

Home was very pretty. Beautiful yard, pool and spa was great! Spoke with the owner and she was very helpful and we had a great conversation. It was so hot when we were there but the house was very cool. Loved that there were personal touches throughout the house. We saw some insects but they died, so I knew the property had been sprayed. I know down in the Hill Country you will see a few, almost no way around it. It was a great experience, and we will definitely visit again. The history behind this property is very interesting also.

My boys had my 60th at this property. It was fantastic. From arriving to balloons, a meat/cheese tray and gifts, all provided by the homeowner, to checking out, we had an outstanding time. I had several friends over for an afternoon celebration and the house was amazing for entertaining. I will be coming back to this house again and again!

We had so much fun in this house. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets. All the necessities available. We lost hot water due to the artic blast that blew through, but Jill made sure to drop off heaters and give us access to hot showers in the backhouse! She is a wonderful renter and so kind. We would love to stay again!

Communication with the owner prior to arriving was excellent. The house was everything and more than I was expecting. We had family flying in from various parts of the country and when we all arrived, we realized that this property was perfect for Thanksgiving. The house was extremely well, equipped and maintained.

The house is bigger and more beautiful than the photos. Fantastic pool!! The decor is absolutely adorable and the bathrooms have huge awesome showers! Its not quite as close to everything as I had thought, very very short car instead of walking, but it was still incredibly convenient and a super nice neighborhood. I would come back in a heartbeat, we had the greatest time!

Highly recommend this property for large groups and children. The house was clean, modern enough with some historical flare, and had all the working amenities. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The only “thing” to be aware of, is that the driveway only fits two cars, any additional cars have to park on the street, which wasn’t a problem since the street is nice and wide. Would definitely consider revisiting!

This was by far the best Labor Day getaway for my family. We had a girls trip to celebrate an upcoming wedding on Labor Day weekend and everything about this place was top notch. Unique timeless getaway
Beautiful property with charm of the past with the perfect upgraded amenities of the new! There are not enough words to communicate the magic of this getaway. The pool, kitchen, windows, beds, and master suite were a few of our favorites. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to experience Fredericksburg in a special way. Just a block away from the Main Street made it easy. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The coffee machine took a bit to figure out. Ha! Other than that absolute DELIGHT!

We stayed here with our parents and our 2 kids under 2.5 and had such a fun 4th of July weekend! The pool and hot tub provided plenty of entertainment throughout the day and the proximity to downtown made for an easy drive to all the fun. Great spot we will visit again!

Perfect property for a family get-away
Great communication with property owner. Size of property and amenities were as described. Family had a great time bbq’ing and spending time swimming and playing water volleyball in the pool. Pool towels were provided and we had plenty of room for members of our family. There is something for every age…the pool table was a hit for the young adults because they love playing pool. Extremely charming property…the barn was a great backdrop for some family photos, too! Would stay here again.
