Over 6,600 square feet of living space with features such as a dramatic floor-to-ceiling stone wall, new custom kitchen with island breakfast bar, separate dining area seating 10, oversized patio and deck with built-in bar accessible from multiple rooms, and an upstairs lounge with private balcony access are just a few of the amazing amenities that this beautiful home has to offer. This gulf-front estate is just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and live entertainment yet still offers that laid-back beach lifestyle that allows one to just relax and unwind on vacation! In turtle season, you may find a giant turtle nesting right in front of the house- what a thrill! Please show the turtles full courtesy use the blinds and switch off outside lights in nesting season. The famous Stump Pass, the Lemon Bay Aquatic Preserve, the backwaters of the Beach State Park, and the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico, all well-known for their excellent fisheries (among the very best in the nation) are just 10 minutes away. You can walk to the nearby restaurants and bars as well as the mini-mart for last-minute essentials right from the beach. There is also a free shuttle service if you choose not to walk. NOTE: This home only books Saturday to Saturday and must be booked in 7-night intervals. Please call for further information. The house is very large and has several staircases including one which has a narrow spiral staircase. Children are not permitted at the home. This home does have 4 cameras which you may turn off during your stay. We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries. Use of the garage, indoor fireplaces, and spa are prohibited. The outdoor pond is part of the landscape and is for decorative purposes only. After booking, Manasota Key Realty - Conch Out Vacations will be calling regarding all payments. Please note that payments on VRBO do NOT match ours. Each of our properties has a Security Deposit NOT shown on VRBO. Initial payments include the property's refundable Security (Damage) Deposit, 25% of the total rental fee, and the booking fee. Damage Deposit refund will be processed within 30 days of departure. Final payments are due 60 days from arrival. Please note the VRBO service fee is collected separately and is out of our control.

This house had more than enough room for our group of ten. The rental agency was very easy to work with. The location is amazing! Spectacular views from almost every room and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Made some great memories here.

Was a really nice home with lots of nice recent upgrades. Location close to the action on Manasota Key and the beach was great. It’s a little close to the public beach so we did experience some overflow but it was not excessive. Beware of the red tide as that can affect your stay!! Loved all the large window space but there are some architectural oddities in the home. Nothing that pulled away from our vaca though. The kitchen was awesome as well as all the bedrooms. Lots of space to stretch out and relax and we will miss this place as we get back to life in the Midwest!!

The spacious unique home was the perfect setting for our family vacation with our grown children. The location is within a block to 3 bars to walk to for special drinks, music , karaoke, and even dats.
The large kitchen made cooking in teams easy, we ate all dinners on the long dining room table.
So much space, rambling and unique. The home and the sunny beach was the best setting to spend stress free time together.

The house needs a lot of work. It especially needs a deep clean and the cockroaches are a major problem. We had exterminators come twice in our stay without the problem being resolved. A lot of the furniture needs to be replaced, outlets are not working etc. if I could post photos of the property you would be disgusted.

Great beach place for lots of families
Love this property so much!! We have loved staying here 2 years in a row! The only thing I wish they would do is cut back the tall hedges clocking the view in the dining room and trim the tall tree off the back porch. It just blocks the view a lot. Other than that, we loved it!

Kitchen was top notch as far as utensils and gadgets. The ice maker was not working well so we bought some ice. The house was cool and clean. Palmetto bugs were abundant in the morning but only on the first level. They were on their last legs as the property must have been sprayed recently. The men needed more comfortable seating (sofas are worn) and more televisions to watch their sports at night. Saw several black racer snakes Crossing our walkway to the beach. They caused us a fright but they we’re just as afraid of us as we were them. 🤣Mattresses and two of the bathrooms needed to be updated. The home is historic and large and beautiful. More beach chairs would have been a plus to take down to the water and maybe a small cooler for the beach. When you fly and can’t bring a lot these little things mean a lot.

Really fun place. Easy to watch kids by water and be near the house. House has tons of character and unique attributes. Well-stocked with amenities including beach toys. 5 minute walk to multiple great restaurant choices. This is definitely a top-choice for a relaxing beach stay with a big family

The Most Eclectic
We all enjoyed our stay on the beach at Englewood! Two birthdays and just plain good fun with friends!! Located close to everything we wanted to do. LOTS of sharks teeth for everyone. Didn’t let the Red Tide ( which was minimal) stop our fun in the sun or sunset cocktail hour!

We would definitely recommend this home for anyone needing plenty of space and 5 bedrooms.
We visited during turtle nesting season (May-Oct), so just be sure to keep lights turned off on the beach side of house (or close curtains). Each morning while walking on the beach, we saw new nests marked by the “turtle patrol” and could still see the tracks made by the turtles. Very cool!

Great location but the property has been neglected. It would be much more attractive if a cleanup crew fixed the dozens of things that need repair. Cockroaches were also a problem every morning.

This place was amazing for our trip. We had a group of ten and we had plenty of room! Other than needing a few updates we would stay here again. It was perfect for our kids to just go out on the beach and not have to worry about a bunch of people or even being crowded. Very laid back area. Once again we loved it!

So I had to go buy some. There are no large garbage cans for inside the house, just small bathroom ones, so I had to go buy some. Other than those few things. It’s was great!!

Fabulous family vacation
We had a fabulous time renting this house! From the spacious room inside to the short distance to the ocean outside, this is the place to stay. We fished, played volleyball, collected shells and walked to a local restaurant.

On Site Manager Could've Been Nicer and House Cleaner
Booking was easy and due to COVID-19, we had several email exchanges and phone conversations with the property manager that were positive. Unfortunately our experience checking in wasn't so great.
1) We had to wait an extra hour to check in due to COVID-19 cleaning requirements, which wouldn't have been too bad if the person at the office wouldn't have been rude about it.
2) Once we arrived at the property, the cleaning crew was still there and made us wait another 20 minutes to enter, which wouldn't have been awful but we had groceries in the car and young kids who needed to potty.
3) Once we got inside, the house itself was huge, with a great view, right on the beach, awesome, right?!? True, but after being forced to wait an extra hour and 20 minutes to get inside the property (due to cleaning requirements), you would have thought the place would be spotless...not so much :(
- dead cockroaches in several places
- literally hundreds of dead bugs in the large window tracks
- sticky/smudged pantry door and glass table top
- hair and left over shampoo, etc. in one of the bathrooms
Not the end of the world, by any stretch... just would've been nice to have a more hospitable greeting with a cleaner start. All in all the property is nicely situated, right on the beach with restaurants, boat rentals and marinas within walking distance. The house has a bit of a strange layout but there was plenty of room for our crew of 11 and once we got past the initial check-in and cleaning issues we had an great time.

Beautiful house in a perfect setting
Lovely, well- furnished home. Everything you need is there- even books, games, puzzles, beach toys, etc. Fabulous outdoor space one step from the beach. Within walking distance of four great restaurants. Realty agents are friendly and responsive. Only complaint: the downstairs paneled bath needs a deep clean and/or paint and all bath towels need an upgrade. Our extended family had a wonderful time!

Great beach Vacation!
The Home is beautiful and well stocked with kitchen and outdoor items! We enjoyed a fun week, great weather and was a perfect spot to meet up with our adult children and their spouses. We would come back and recommend this to our friends. We enjoyed walking to the local restaurants, rented a pontoon boat and a bicycle.
