This unit is FULLY AIR CONDITIONED as of October 2022 Villa Amerigo is a luxury two king Master En Suite villa positioned on the side of Pocket Money Hill overlooking Cruz Bay. Enjoy the million dollar views and fabulous sunsets over the beautiful blue water and St. Thomas to the west. Fantastic lighting and marble counter tops and tile floors throughout. Your choice of two air-conditioned master En Suites with double sinks and indoor showers that access amazing stone and tile private outdoor shower grottoes The villa has a generator that comes on automatically when power is interrupted-which happens frequently on the island. ONLY approximately 10% of the houses on St. John offer this convenience. You won't have to worry about spoiled food or hot, uncomfortable nights. WiFi & internet streaming television Multi-Split Air Conditioners (these are not window units) are installed for your comfort. These allow you to cool "individual zones" in the house for greater energy efficiency. The kitchen was complete with every possible need for cooking - beautiful glasses, plates, dish towels, bowls, etc. But the most important asset was its expansive deck overlooking Cruz Bay and St Thomas and that beautiful blue Caribbean water. Looking down from the deck to the trees, we could spot many iguanas. We had a few rain showers, but even that was beautiful from this vantage point. The owners have really outdone themselves with this spectacular rental property. We will be back!! Don't miss Vie's Snack Shack for fried chicken and Miss Lucy's for grouper reuben sandwiches. Amazing view and great proximity to Cruz Bay.
The place is as advertised: clean, well air-conditioned, comfortable beds, nice outdoor showers and pool.
The hidden gem of this property is Linda the manager. She was so helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Our stay would have been much less enjoyable without her, she really goes above and beyond what I expect from a property manager!

This is a beautiful property with gorgeous views. It was clean and stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation. Linda was very helpful - we got in later than expected and she picked us up at the ferry. There was a maintenance issue and this was responded to promptly. It was a great stay, and we hope to return!

Perfect location a 2 min driver to downtown Cruz Bay, with breathtaking sunsets. Couldn’t be happier about our stay, the caretakers were more than helpful even letting us know that the grounds keeper would show up 1 day during specific hours, meeting us to check in and even asking if we’d like our fridge stocked before getting there. . If you’re looking for a place very close to town, quite, huge bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, giant covered deck, with great views of amazing sunsets behind St Thomas, I highly recommend this place.

Recently returned from a week long stay at Villa Amerigo. The views were spectacular. The layout was perfect for 2 couples as there are duplicate master suites with combination indoor/outdoor showers. The 1/2 bath off the living room was convenient as well. We spent almost all of our time on the huge outdoor covered deck.
The pool was nice and there was ample seating, we were the only ones at the pool everytime we used it. There's a bathroom by the pool and a covered veranda.
YOu really need a 4 wheel drive vehicle as the road is steep. We did walk a few times but the road is step and there is no shoulder or sidewalk so never tried it after dark. Quick drive into town for dinner and shopping. A number of beaches are 10-20 minute drive.
I'm already thinking for rebooking for 2024 or 2025.

The house is amazing best of use in Cruz Bay in our opinion you definitely need a cheap ticket to the property very close to town and easy access to all beaches patio equipment was wonderful and the pool was in great shape I would definitely select this location again to stay here

Views from the villa are amazing and the pool is nice to cool down in. Beautiful villa with a fantastic porch. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well. It would have been perfect if the main living area was air conditioned. Both bedrooms have air but running the AC with the bedroom doors open as suggested still didn't cool the area enough. Other than that our stay was fantastic!

We rented this villa on our first trip to St. John. The location and views of Cruz Bay are amazing. The condo is very spacious with everything exactly as pictured. There is only AC in the bedrooms, so the main living area of the condo is typically pretty warm. This didn't bother us much as we spent most days out on the island. The ACs cooled the bedrooms very quickly so we were able to sleep comfortably. The condo did have beach chairs (although they are quite old), beach towels, and 2 coolers for us to use. They also had several ice packs in the freezer so we didn't need to purchase ice to keep things cold.
Although it is relatively close to Cruz Bay, you cannot walk because it is located up on an extremely high hill. The area was very quiet and peaceful.
My only recommendation to the owners would be to upgrade the villa with nicer linens for beds and bathrooms. For the price we paid I felt that these were quite old and used.

We had some issues with no water in our unit, and the pool area was not kept clean. After we called, someone was sent over and cleaned up!

We liked the unit we rented. The terrace was great, fabulous view!
We had some issues with no water in our unit, and the pool area was not kept clean. After we called, someone was sent over and cleaned up!

We loved staying here. The views are stunning and the open air/ indoor outdoor living was amazing. We loved to open the doors first thing in the morning and feel the warm breezes. The deck is big and comfortable. Being able stay outside during a rain shower was a huge bonus.
