Our trip to Sandy, OR was for my niece’s wedding. The view from the back of the house was absolutely spectacular!!
We would suggest a stronger internet service. With two teenagers and two adults trying to work remotely, it was a struggle.
The kitchen could use additional basic supplies and cookware.
These sound like complaints, but they are merely suggestions. We opted for eating out most meals and enjoying the surroundings!
We would definitely stay in this VRBO again!! Thank you!

The home is very clean and inviting. The ever-changing view of the valley and Mt Hood is so spectacular, its hard to put into words. Our stay was exactly what we had hoped it to be. The owner is easy to reach and it was a real pleasure to communicate with him. We'll be back!

Incredible views and very responsive host. Listing could use updated pictures as the deck has aged significantly and some items no longer remain. Great location for exploring Mt. Hood, Portland, and Willamette Valley. Would stay again.

The stunning view really does get you once you walk in. Some parts of the home were damaged upon arrival, such as a bathroom mirror, bathroom window, and the footboard in one of the bedrooms. The deck could also use some TLC. Downstairs was very nice and comfortable with ample seating for visiting family (and don't forget that view). The driveway is wider than it is long, which was a little unexpected but we managed to fit our vehicles in just fine. The hot tub was a nice perk, though it was unfortunately not hot our first night because it was emptied or topped off before our arrival and it didn't seem super clean. Overall a fine visit. We booked it mainly for the view and expectations were exceeded in that department.

Me and some friends went to Sandy for a Guys weekend a bit off the beaten path, and this property was great for that.
The view was amazing, everyone got their own room(the Upstairs Master bedroom felt bigger than the whole place I rented in Seattle two weeks ago)...the Hot Tub was fun(plenty of towels for showers and hot tub)...just a good fun place.
Why not 5 stars? There were a few maintenance issues on the house: some chipped tiles in the kitchen, and you could tell at some point someone had put a small dog in the downstairs bathroom, because it had scratched the bathroom door. And, finally one of the pictures showed an outdoor firepit with a grill set up(so you could cave man cook outside) and that had been replaced by a propane firepit. Fine for sitting around less fine for cooking. There is a whole kitchen and a propane grilm. I had just been looking forward to maybe cooking outside over flames.
But 10/10 would stay here again!

The new owners were incredibly friendly, helpful and made many great upgrades!
This house is perfectly located, so close to town but laid out so that you cannot see any other properties and feel like you have the whole valley at your feet. The view is indescribable and all rooms are filled with windows that provide picture perfect views.
This house was perfect for our multi-family escape with our children. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!!

Beautiful view, great access to Sandy
This was great for 3 couples and 5 kids (3+). I wish we had stayed more nights! The place was mostly clean, but not sparkling, so if that is essential for you, this is not a good fit. I would not recommend for toddlers as there are lots of knickknacks around. The hot tub and gas fireplace were great and the master bedroom has a walk in closet with a spare bed and can fit a pack n play. Would stay again.

Unexpected beauty, great conversation areas
We loved the large family room and dining room that allowed for comfortable seating for our entire group, kitchen was well stocked, all appliances worked and were clean and the hot tub was a huge hit! Parking was a little tight for our suvs and mini vans but after buying a few groceries and a walk or two, we never even left the place! Communication with owners exceeded my expectations with a prompt reply to help us identify the wildlife mounts! The view was breath taking! I didn’t realize the pictures on the site were taken from the deck! This is a great place owned by great people. An absolute hit for our girls weekend!

Amazing views
At the risk of not being able to book it next, this place has a gorgeous view. It has a hunting cabin vibe. Think cabin in the woods. Drove out of Portland to Multnomah Falls(awesome), completely overwhelmed by Trillium Lake, then stopped to see Timberline Lodge. A fabulous day trip

Sandy Property Stay
Beautiful View, Comfortable Accomodations and a great location.
My Sister and I rented the place with our spouses and adult children to attend a family wedding in Corbett. Both couples own and manage vacation rentals for the past 15 years and overall we were pleased with this property.
We were disappointed in a few items.
Both of the shower curtain liners in the guest bathroms were moldy.
The lack of a manual for the house, especially for the hot tub, sauna and heat made it difficult to use them. We were extremely disappointed that the hot tub was cold and despite our efforts could not get the tub to stay on and heat. The same was true for the sauna. Both items were a part of the reason for renting the this property.
Also the wifi password was not readily available. We did find them later face down in the upstairs bedrooms but none down stairs.
Upon our arrival we did discover that the Bar B Que had been lit, was still burning and was extremely hot. We turned it off.
There were light fixtures with burned out lights and no spare bulbs for us to replace them.
Additional paper towels and paper napkins would have been helpful.
The upstairs guest bedrooms lacked mirrors for getting ready for the wedding. The Master Bedroom was perfect.
We are passing this on because we all felt this is a wonderful location and would stay there again but as Vacation Rental owners we have benefitted from guests telling us how we could have done better.
The View of the Mountain and the Sandy River is spectacular.

Spectacular View
We had an amazing 4 days in Oregon....using the house as our “home base “....it was wonderful to come home to and relax! The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked in every night! I can not say enough about the view from the back deck,,,,it was spectacular!! The owners were so helpful and kind! I hope we can get back here someday!
