***FULL REFUND for bookings that need to be canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. *** 5 mins walk to the beach. ***10 mins walk to Cowes Main Street. ***5 min drive to boat ramp. Walk to town along the beach for your morning coffee and breakfast, or just relax on the front deck with a cool drink and watch the world pass by. Bright, clean, modern and beautifully decorated beach house. Great location. Park your car then forgot about driving until it's time to leave. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Cowes General Store just 1 minute walk for a quick coffee or take-away fix. Major supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and services just 10 minutes walk away. GP Circuit special events shuttle bus pick-up point close by. Large front and rear yards, fully fenced. Plenty of room for off- street parking and storing the boat. Outdoor shower for rinsing off sand from the beach, outdoor sink for cleaning the catch of the day. Alfresco entertaining for barbecue dinner and drinks. ****IMPORTANT**** Guests are required to bring their own towels and linen. (Sheets, pillow cases and doona covers.) We do not provide these items. Doonas and pillows are provided. NOTE: Linen and towels will be supplied for Moto Gp event only. **************************************************************************************** This property is dog friendly with secure fencing but low in some sections (1 metre). We ask that dogs not be allowed on the furniture and guests bring their own pet bedding. Please contact property owner to discuss before permission for your dog is granted. There is a $30 pet cleaning fee per stay. NO SMOKING NO SCHOOLIES. Payment and cancellations 25 percent non refundable deposit required to secure booking. Full payment required 28 days prior to arrival. 100% refund if canceled 14 days before check-in. 50% refund if canceled 7 days before check-in. No refund if canceled within 7 days of check-in. $200 Refundable Damage Deposit required.

From booking to leaving, Nelson’s Rest was a great experience. A great house, location wonderful, close to everything we needed, no car required for the three days we were there. Scott was a great communicator. The house is fully equipped with conveniences. Beds super comfy. We will be back 100%.

Wonderful family holiday
This property felt like a home as soon as we walked through the door. It was light clean and it had a lovely warm & inviting feeling about it.
As a young family this house was fabulous. A big front & back yard for the kids (& fur child) and it’s location was fantastic...Each day we enjoyed a walk into town. Scott was quick and easy to communicate with. We’d love to stay again. Thank you!

We loved this house being so close to the beach and not too far from Cowes CBD. The yard is great for dogs and there is plenty to like about the house itself. Plenty of comfort and things for all ages to do with a well stocked bookshelf and toys for kids. Would revisit in the future.

Absolute Stunner
My partner myself our 5 children and 2 dogs stayed here for 4 days. Very close to everything. The yard size was wonderful for the dogs to run around. The books and games selection at the house were a winner with the kids and myself. Super clean and cosy. I cant wait to revisit. Thank You for having us.

Wonderful stay. The property exceeded all expectations. The bonus dog door was just like home.
The property is perfect for families who travel with their fluffy children.
Our girls (spoodles) were able to enjoy the front and rear yard with the added bonus of going in and out of the dog door just like home.
As for comfort, we could not believe the bed mattress......so beautiful and much better than most 5 star hotels.
Secure off Street parking was also much appreciated.

A wonderful place to stay. Quality family time in a lovely home.
My family had a wonderful time at this property. We booked it for 7 nights and it was a great escape from the hustle and bustle. The host, Scott was very helpful and responsive and for that we are very grateful.
The location is ideal for families. Close to the township and beach. We loved being able to take our small dogs to the beach in a short stroll (after 5pm).
Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the outdoor entertaining bbq was particularly enjoyed.

Great location
We stayed over Christmas and new year with our dog. Place was in a great spot- only a short walk to shops and a very short walk to the beach. Very clean and well presented house. Well fenced yard and very private backyard. Outdoor shower was a winner!

Bright and cosy, walking distance to everything
We spent 4 nights here over the Easter break.
The house is well maintained and was lovely and clean upon arrival.
The owner was a pleasure to deal with.
The house is located an easy walk from the main street of Cowes, along with the beach and general store.
The only negative we found was that the road was incredibly busy and loud- especially at night, but it probably wouldn’t be such an issue during off-peak times.

Why would you buy a beach house when you can stay here?
Awesome place, very close to the beach and shops.
Having the caravan park over the road can get a little noisy with public holidays and people walking home but this will happen all over Cowes in busy periods. Everything you would want from a holiday house; plenty of room for the dog to run laps around the property. BBQ with a good outdoor area for a night in and plenty of books/dvds to relax and unwind. Highly recommend and will be back for my next track day.

Fantastic location, Great space, Clean, All needs catered for
We really enjoyed our stay here, the house is very practical and has a good design, particularly for families with small children with bedrooms away from the main living areas. The outdoor area out the back is great and the kids enjoyed running around freely. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Initially we were worried about noise with the caravan park being across the road, but this was not an issue at all. We will return if ever back in Phillip Island.
