Nestled in Mission Beach, this lovely condo for R 5,304 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! It doesn’t get any better than this! If you are hankering for a beach vacation, you will find fun, surf, sand and quiet relaxation in sunny Mission Beach at Hale Makai (House by the ocean). This one bedroom one bath condo on the Penthouse floor of the Top of the Beach condo complex comfortably sleeps 4 and is just steps from famous Mission/Pacific Beach and Boardwalk. The condo offers a king size bed in the bedroom with 6 generous under bed storage drawers and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom vanity area has just been remodeled with a new cabinet, granite countertop and under the counter rectangular sink. The new tiled walk in shower sports a beach rock shower pan which is wonderful on your feet. There is a newly remodeled, full kitchen with new cabinets and granite counter tops, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, toaster, blender and Keurig and standard coffee maker- even a set of Henckel's knives for the discerning chef. The dining table has comfortable seating for 4. A 43” smart TV with DVR in the living room lets you record your favorite shows while you are out exploring and having fun. The 32” TV in the bedroom lets you unwind from a busy day watching late night shows in the cozy comfort of the king size bed. Wi-fi is provided too, of course. Ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom combine with ocean breezes to keep you comfortable and you can sleep with the relaxing sound of the surf. The lanai offers wonderful views of the ocean, Mission Bay and downtown San Diego with a table, chairs and BBQ for your enjoyment. We also provide beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs to make your beach vacation hassle free. There are 2 washers and dryers available (for a fee) in the upper garage for your convenience. The Boardwalk, just steps away on the ocean side, stretches for 3 miles from Law Street in North Pacific Beach to the south Mission Beach jetty. It provides a marvelous venue for biking, roller blading, jogging, and walking. Of course the beach is just on the other side of the boardwalk where you can soak up the sun or frolic in the surf. The condo is only one block from Mission Bay which also has a boardwalk around the Bay. There you can rent an assortment of water toys from the Aquatic Center like sailboats, stand up paddle boards, wind surfers or boats to enhance your vacation experience. At the end of the day, since Hale Makai is on the top floor of the tallest building in Mission Beach, you will be treated to breathtaking sunsets over the Pacific Ocean as you relax on the lanai. Hale Makai offers under building parking with a reserved space in a gated garage so no worries about finding a place to park. Plus the elevator is just steps from your parking space making it easy to get to the condo without having to climb stairs with your baggage or grocery purchases. But once you arrive you may not need to take your car out again since so many activities and restaurants are within walking distance. But if you have plans to go to Sea World, Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park or any of the other attractions in the San Diego area the condo is centrally located for exploring all the city has to offer. Belmont Park and its historic roller coaster is just down the boardwalk along with many other rides and amusement park offerings. Visit the San Diego waterfront with the Midway aircraft carrier museum, the Maritime museums and Seaport Village. Drive over the Bay Bridge to quaint Coronado and the famous Hotel del Coronado and beaches. Your choices are endless and you are only limited by the amount of time you have to spend in “America’s Finest City”. Great, two night stay in this wonderful condo with all needed accomodations. The location is great - we did not use our car during the entire stay and we were so grateful for the secure, off-street parking. The host communicated well with us to ensure we had no problems. We hope to go back some day!

The condo was perfect for me and my husband - great location and walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars and the boardwalk which was so fun to walk every morning. It was roomy and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and we liked having a tv in the family room and bedroom. We got there after dark had a little trouble finding the keys but that may have just been me. I highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to stay for a short weekend getaway! Great location only one block from the beach. Surrounded by coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Room and living room are spacious and enough for 3 people. Will plan on staying here again in the future! (Bummed I forgot to sign the guest book!)

A small slice of heaven in San Diego! The owners are very responsive, check-in and check-out are very easy and the space is great! Steps to the beach, and short distances to all other attractions. Restaurant attached to the building is recommended as well! Great place to stay!

This condo provided a perfect two night get away. It is with walking distance of anything you need - groceries, coffee, beach, bike rentals, restaurants. We especially loved the pastries at Molly's! The space was just right for two. We hope to return someday!

The property is clean, food and store and shopping options steps away. Detailed information given for area and property, check in/out easy, the pictures are exact! They even leave you a keepsake to take home, which we cherish! Clean, well stocked, bed is super comfortable. It was amazing and we will be back!

Everything was just as it looked in the pictures. We were impressed with the detailed instructions and quick response from the owners. Definitely a place to come back to. This property was the perfect location for my husband and I. Close enough to the beach to hear the waves but not on the boardwalk so you don't get all the noise from the crowds. Everything was as described in the listing. Condo was secure and easy access garage. You dont have to fight for parking. Great location, so many places to eat within walking distace. Will stay again!

The unit is small but great for two people. The bathroom was super small but they did what they could with that. I loved the all glass shower. Very updated. Bed was comfy. It was a bit hot at night. If you leave the windows open and both fans on at night it’s okay. They have a pull out sofa bed but we didn’t use it since it was just me and my hubby. Great location. Beach was literally a1 minute walk. You can see the ocean from the balcony and the bedroom window. They have beach equipment and towels for use. Great restaurants all along the road. Old Town is only 10 minutes away and a great place to tour. San Diego zoo was 15 minutes away. Loved this great little find!

Great place, great location! One bedroom and bath throwing distance from the beach. Loved the private parking and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Everything you would need from the coffee maker to the cooking supplies to beach chairs. Half block from two coffee shops and two bars. What else would you want?

My husband and I stayed at this property with our 2 kids (8 and 6). It was the perfect location for us and fit all of us nicely. We were super close to the beach and restaurants! Highly recommend!!

This place is beautiful and has everything you need! Heather was very responsive. We loved how it is steps to the beach. We initially entered the wrong garage entrance due to me not reading the instructions properly, but once we figured things out everything was smooth sailing. We used the playpen for our youngest, and the bed was super comfy. We hope to return again one day!

We had a wonderful few day stay and were very pleased with the accommodations. Perfect place to stay for a small family. Loved the location. Covered parking and plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the ocean just steps away. We searched hard for an ocean view at an affordable price and this place worked great. Views from the deck are a bit obstructed from the building but being on the top floor made sitting out on the balcony a positive part of the experience and loved being able to see both ocean and bayside. I do know my teen daughter would have appreciated light blocking blinds for sleeping in the mornings but said the sleeper sofa was comfortable. Definitely recommend this place for a visit to the beach.

Rental was a great location, beautiful place! I had everything I needed and really enjoyed the room. Steps from the beach and everything I needed. Only hiccup was some confusion about the location at check in, but got in touch with owner quickly and worked it out. Would love to come there again!

Heather and Dennis, property managers were exceptional. We encountered some utility issues while staying at the condo (nothing to do with the condo itself - simply the building management scheduled some utility maintenance during our stay). They were responsive and accommodated us, as best they could. The condo sits right between the ocean and bayside boardwalks. We walked every day and could see the ocean from our deck. This location is also very close to many of the major "tourist" attractions (Balboa Park, SD Zoo, Old Town) - very few things were more than 15-20 minutes away. The garage is great, because we learned parking can be a real pain :). Overall, highly recommend this rental!

This place was very close to both the Ocean and Bay , less than 200 yards either way. Nice sunrise and sunset from balcony. Overall very nice unit.
