The breakfast was excellent as there was a very wide range of choices for everything. Great location as the house is 5 minutes from the centre of Sorrento by car. Our bedroom had a huge balcony looking out onto Sorrento. We could park on the main road easily. Michele and his family are great hosts and they did everything they could to make our stay a huge success.

Everything was incredible sorting our stay. Our host made us feel like we were royalty, right down to the extra special touches like extra pillows and breakfast to go. We would definitely stay here again and can't say enough about this hidden gem.
this is not a place to stay if you are at all handicapped. There is a step walk down from the road to the front door.

The breakfast was excellent. Great choice of food. Wonderful fresh orange juice.
The room and bathroom were well proportioned and seemed new. Excellent room service and cleaning service.
The location is not the best. The climb back up the hill is not for everyone. But it will keep you fit.

Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal with fresh homemade pastries each day. The rooms were recently renovated and looked modern, yet felt very cozy. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and accommodated us very well. The overall stay was amazing and I would recommend.
The elevation of the hotel was pretty high, so it was a steep walk to/from the center.

Host is very friendly, breakfast is pretty nice with various choices. Apartment is located is a very quiet place, good for those who love to stay away from chaos and tourists, especially if you can rent a scooter (note: driving licenses are needed. Riding scooter can be dangerous if you never try before as the road are narrow and steep)
However, do NOT recommend this place for those travel on foot - with no car/ scooter due to its special location on the mountain.
1. Free shuttle from and to train station is only provided during check in and check out.
2. Waking down to city center (not train station) will take around 25 min. Walking up to the apartment takes much longer ( try google it to see whether the distance is ok). It’s especially challenging and exhausting when it’s super hot during summer time and after a long day sightseeing in Positano/ Amalfi. At least it’s quite very hard for us.
3. If you don’t want to walk back, then taxi takes 27 Euro from city center, and much more if from port or Marina Grande.
4. If you don’t want to spend money taking taxi, alternatively — there are two restaurants offer pick up/ drop off service, Bistro Sorrento & Da Filippo. Host will send you WhatsApp contact so that you can send location to them. HOWEVER, summer time is quite busy, better to reserve the table AND pick up service half a day in advance.

This place is so great. After busy day on Amalfi coast you come to this oasis and just relax. We loved the breakfast, all homemade - it was the best breakfast we had in Italy.

The price was fantastic.
It wasn't as close to the center of town but we had a car so just letting you know you will have to rent a Vespa or car.
There is a really steep hill to their place and my mom almost fell walking down it because it had rained earlier and it was slippery. We couldn't drive down it. You have to park on the main road. My husband had to take her luggage. So this is more for young families with kids and couples not for older people.

Depends on what you want, not a English breakfast but it was good filling breakfast fruit and cake, and cooked food.

The units were renovated and made very modern in 2019. Great ocean view from the balcony and very relaxing. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served in the common area from 8-10am daily. Fresh homemade pastries, cakes, croissants, various jams are provided, along with some meat and cheese, fruits, and sometimes scrambled eggs (everything was delicious! ). They will pick you up and take you back to the Sorrento train or bus station. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
No transportation close by. We rented a scooter to go down the very big hill to get into town (about 40 Euro/day). If you have never driven in Italy, it may be nerve-racking.

The view.
It is on a steep hill. Luckily Michelle does the pick-up and dropping on departure. Guess is good if you use a car or if you are in good physical condition.....the afternoon is very warm on the terrace. Suggest a canvas or mesh to improve...

The breakfast was lovely. Home made cakes and jam. The apt was very quiet, clean & had great WIFI. The host was exceptional. He picked me up from the bus & dropped me off for return bus very early in the am.

We had a lovely stay in On’ Michele. The room was lovely and spacious with air conditioning and a terrace outside! The views from the terrace were beautiful. We liked the way the towels were replaced each day and the bed made. It was like being in a hotel! Michele was an excellent host and picked us up from the train station. He also spent time on the first night explaining the various places we could go in Sorrento. Michele was very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend! The only thing worth noting is that the B&B is situated on a steep hill and therefore would not be suitable for wheelchair users.

The appartment was great. Big room, nicely working air condition, comfortable bed, beautiful terrace, very delicious breakfast (especially homemade cakes). the host took us from Sorrento train station and drove us back last day.
The appartment is on the hill, thats why we rented a scooter which helped us to move easier ( but you can also go to the city centre on foot ~25min).

The place was very nice and modern and has spectacular sunset views. Michele was also a great host and was kind enough to give us a ride to and from the port. He also arranged scooter rentals for us.

Michelle it a excelente attentive, help and any ways posible. You used the microwave couple of times, he give us ice pack for my husband, recommends Restaurant near by, brought us to the train station. Breakfast is always very good, he mon bake every day.
Everything is perfect in this places, it not negative. I recommend to visit Sorrento and stay at Michele guest house.

The room had every amenity and many nice touches. There was a variety of choices at breakfast including homemade mozzarella made by a local woman. Michelle picked me up at the marina where I came in from Capri and drove me back to the train when it was time to leave. And he recommended two local restaurants that I loved. I also had a chance to meet and talk with another guest because the breakfast room has just three tables so it was easy to strike up a conversation.
It’s a steep walk up from town but in some ways it was nice to get away from the tourist area. You just need to plan, either for the walk to and from, or to get a taxi, which I never did.

Breakfast was amazing! The rooms and lighting were really nice. Location was perfect for us as we'd like somewhere quiet. Michele was the best host, helping us with lots of things and also contacting the tour company to Capri for us too (the tour was awesome). The property offered comfort and peace.
A bit cold at night as it's situated in a hill but it's completely bearable.

The host was very helpful, was there to help us check in after our flight got delayed and we arrived at 1am.
Very tasty breakfast including local specialties and homemade jam and cakes. Fast and flexible check in/out.

We have just spent 5days atEn Michele guest house , everything was so lovely , perfect base to get around , Michele was so helpful , he picked us up at the station and dropped us off when we left , he booked our boat trip to Capri , helped with tickets to Pompeii , Positano recommended restaurants , My son said the breakfasts cooked by his mum were his favourite ever , we will return when we visit Sorrento again for sure .

From start to finish our stay here was amazing. The rooms were immaculate, the service excellent and Mama Carmella’s breakfasts delicious.
Michele and his family are delightful and very accommodating. Michele sent me a message letting me know that he would meet us at the train station and take us up to our accommodation which we were very thankful for as On Michele is up in the hills of Sorrento. They allowed us to use the kitchen one night when we didn’t want to go out for dinner and then he insisted on taking us to the port. He had to make 2 trips as there were 5 of us and lots of luggage. It was never an inconvenience.
The rooms were modern and the beds very comfortable especially after a long day. My kids loved the disco lights in the shower and the rain shower head was refreshing and welcoming.
My rating for ‘On Michele would definitely be an 11 out of 10.
If you asked my daughter she’d say the walk from the town centre to the accomodation. If you’re fit it’d take about 30mins, it took us 55 mins. But it’s something you have to experience to appreciate the wide roads seen in bigger cities.
