relaxing and delightful

Very friendly welcome: Mert, Ammar and Serif are very helpful. Ladies at the Spa are very competent and professional: Juni and Ayu. Excellent fitness center. The restaurant food was awesome and the team including Noble, Innocent, Victor, Soliman, Cynthia orchestrated by Denise and Songül deserve a special recognition and a big thank you ! Check out the picture that I posted !

The equipment of the various activities are a bit tired: mini golf, lounge chairs at the beach, tennis rackets, etc...

A great family holiday!

Nice place with great services and swimming pool. Ideal for relaxing.

The residence has a direct access to the beach and a great swimming pool. The restaurant is nice and its terrace is great place to relax with acceptable prices. Lots of services and activities offered for extra time, with a wonderful spa centre. When I complained about all issues I had, they have compensated me with free services (that was super-kind from host side).

The apartment was small with beds that were not comfortable at all. Air conditioning of neighbours was too noisy and couldn't allow to sleep at night. The cleaning services was supposed to come every 4 days and in 17 days they came twice because we asked for it at reception several times. We were 3 and only two beds were prepared with sheets. We had to ask for sheets 3 days in a row to get them finally. Some other issues happened during our stay but finally they compensated us.

Very good location and area.

The apartment was dirty, soft furniture with spots as well as on the floor there was dirt. We couldn't clean it ourselves because we didn't have proper utensils for it, as well as nobody came during our stay in order to clean the flat, nor changed the towels. Also we asked an extra bedding, but never received it, though we have been asking for it every day.

Tranquility

It was a beautiful resort with great views from our apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The host ( Mert ) a new member of the team was very helpful and happy to help with any questions. We only stayed one night and we wished we had booked for longer

Tranquil setting in a luxurious apartment with fantastic customer service

Thalassa is a wonderful resort - we stayed in a 3 bedroom penthouse apartment and the jacuzzi and eating area/ BBQ set up and outside shower were such a lovely luxury. The slides were a huge highlight for the boys and we found the food really good too, certainly reasonably priced considering the location. The spa was another highlight- best aromatherapy massage I’ve ever had, and believe me, I’ve had a lot! The mini mart on site was well stocked and very reasonably priced. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and helped organise a day trip to Famagusta and Salamis which was simply outstanding. They also helped sort out a hiccup with payment when the driver didn’t bring a card reader. Fantastic customer service. The gym was also well serviced for its size and plenty of free weights and machines, including benches and boxes. Lovely and cool with access to cold water from the cooler.

Would be good to have a central WhatsApp for arranging things a bit quicker, but understand that this may be challenging given the resort’s set up.

Great value family stay

Good range of facilities, wasn’t too busy, kids loved water slides and pool. We thought the quality of the food in the restaurant was really good. Apartment was 2 bedroom, very clean and beds were amazing. We have stayed at all the all inclusive hotels in the bafra tourist zone now and we preferred Thalassa to Concorde, and definitely Kaya Artemis which was terrible. You could go to Limak but around 3-4 times more expensive than Thalassa and would be packed out. Plus the cost of food and drink at the Thalassa was very reasonably priced. We would definitely hope to return.

breakfast was good .but didnt have it on 2nd day due to unfortunate accident of our friend

So so. Not very good value for money.

Clean, quiet, nice beach and beach facilities.

Strong smell of mold in the room. We have been told breakfast after 7,30 which is late in comparison to other hotels. The only restaurant in the big complex opens after 7,30 but breakfast was avalable after 8. The only coffee machin was brocken.

Very pleasant and beautiful

The wonderful staff especially Ms. Shelly, she is very helpful, cooperative and understanding. Good swimming pool, slides, beachfront, football pitch, tennis and basketball courts and a restaurant with wonderful staff.

Supermarket in the property is small and closes early, mosquitoes, problems to find an underground parking lot and the supermarkets outside the property are a little bit far.

A five star resort with a one star restaurant.

Let me start off by acknowledging the brilliance of Thalassa Beach Resort. Its stunning beaches, sumptuous accommodations, and an extensive array of facilities create a captivating holiday canvas that truly draws you in. The Spa remains a highpoint, its quality vastly improved since my previous visit. Kudos to the management for investing in this department. Whether it's the attentive staff or the refined treatments, the Spa manages to envelop you in a cocoon of relaxation and rejuvenation. The improvements are palpable and much appreciated. Our family apartment was a triumph, boasting not just comfort but also functionality. Clearly designed with young families in mind, it ensured both the kids and adults had their own space. Well-equipped and beautifully maintained, it was a home away from home. The resort itself has amazing scenery, well rounded facilities, and well-thought-out amenities which provided a backdrop for relaxation and fun, creating the perfect stage for a memorable family holiday. However, the Achilles heel of Thalassa Beach Resort was its restaurant, Deks. From protracted wait times to poor communication, the dining experience was far from seamless. A disjointed and limited menu added to the discontent, particularly the meager options available on the children's menu. Further, staff seemed ill-equipped to deal with the requirements of a not so busy restaurant, evidently lacking proper training. Prices were decidedly steep, which would have been justifiable had the food quality and service been on par. But given the disappointing performance of the restaurant, it felt more like a surcharge for inconvenience than a fair exchange for quality dining. This shortfall dampened our overall enjoyment and left a sour aftertaste in an otherwise delightful stay. To sum up, Thalassa Beach Resort is a gem of a destination with its remarkable spa, perfect accommodation, and stunning scenery.

Superb

It was off season, so it was relatively quiet and spacy. Indoor and outdoor pools are nice, but can't imagine them being very comfortable in the season since they are small for large crowds. The small market has most of every basic need like detergent, pasta, oil etc., but in small quantities and limited variety. There are marked trekking paths for various experience levels around the facility, one even including an in-water stage.

Couldn't enjoy the sea very much due to the weather and due to the dead algea being not cleaned up yet. Definitely need a car or similar means if you want to go sightseeing.

Excellent hotel and staff.

Shelly and the management team were excellent, always helpful. The room was large and airy. Everything worked perfectly, including the hot tub which just needed the gas bottle changing.

Pushing it at finding anything. I guess it would be really handy to label up the lifts in the basement car park to show which blocks they serve, but that's all.

accommodating and nice stuff, great place for a family with small kids

We booked Thalassa Beach Resort to spend time together as a family, and as a part of my birthday gift. the hotel’s stuff was exceptionally accommodating and nice, they offered me a voucher for a free massage, and I could treat myself to it before the birthday dinner. can’t recommend it enough as a short-term stay for a family with small kids

This condo is giant

This is a huge condominium with shared amenities like a restaurant and sports center. Although it's not a hotel, the check-in process was smooth. Some owners give their apartments for day rentals, and local management takes care of it. During the season, it could be crowded, but in winter, there was literally nobody. The apartment is not big, but had everything you might need, and it is clean.

The sauna and hammam were switched off when we came to the sports center (7 PM). So even two hours later, it was still cold there and impossible to use. The food in the restaurant is not great. Probably they have another chief during the season, Idk. And since the place is way far from any inhabited area, so in order to have meal options, you have to drive.

Love the place

Love everything about the facilities: apartment is clear and has all you may need for stay: towels, tea, coffee, water, snacks, shower gel, etc. Bad were pretty comfortable, everything was clean and fresh looking) Restaurant is great, the whole property has a lot of interesting time spending proposals

Super nice family apartments at the beach and with rooftop jacuzzi sea view

- super nice apartments with sea view and rooftop jacuzzi - very good value for money - right at the beach - really nice pool area - many activities for kids and adults (spa, slides, shop, playroom, gym etc) - good cocktails,

- the arrival and check-in process is rather confusing. The staff at the entry of the parking could be better trained to greet people arriving and give them directions on where to park and how to get to the reception (which is located in a small, separate building and not so easy to find) - the restaurant is very nicely located close to the sea and the food is very good, but it could be a bit more advanced menu and more options. It is an Italian restaurant but it could be nice with some more local food options for example.
