Travelling without a plan

The location is amazing the Europa peaks all around. The landscape is a dream ☺️ Really close to Pontes where you can have dinner and breakfast for a fair price at a lovely town. Close to Fuente Dé where you can go for a walking trail and up the teleferry

Bad isolation of the room. You can literally hear everything that going on outside and inside the house. We were woke up by the other tourist going for breakfast and talking loudly outside. It’s actually the only thing I have to say and why I only give a 8. If they solve that problem it is just the perfect spot.

Beautiful, restful rural setting with mountain views. Idyllic.

The Posada was much nicer than we expected. The situation was beautiful and very quiet with views of the mountains. We had a balcony which we could have spent our whole holiday on it was so restful with lovely rural views. A bonus was the pool which was smallish but very nice. The hotel was rustic and very clean and quiet, just on the edge of a hamlet in easy walk of the countryside. 5 minutes walk away was a campsite where we could get a nice meal rather than travelling elsewhere. They don't do dinner and the breakfast you could have in the garden.

Awesome location

Fantastically located Posada with a view of the mountains. Beautiful green garden with swimming pool. Nice, very clean rooms with seating. Excellent breakfast (Spanish = sweet). Free parking. Not far from Potes where many restaurants can be found.

Everything was fine. We stayed here twice, where one time the beds were a bit on the hard side. But that's personal.

Don’t hesitate to book this small family run hotel.

This small hotel is as good as it gets. The views from it are spectacular. Do not hesitate to book a few days. We didn’t want to leave.

Charming Cantabrian Posada next to the Picos

Superb

The location was quiet and peaceful. Not too far from Potes city. The room had a large balcony with a magnificent view. We were welcomed by a very friendly dog !

The shower is in the bath and has a plastic curtain. Internet was slow

Quiet location with fantastic mountain views. Really relaxing stay.

The view was amazing and we were given a choice of rooms. Such a peaceful setting in both the grounds and mountain vista. Very relaxing few days and great walk from the posada and close to the cable car at Fuente De. We found the campsite restaurant down the hill a great and welcoming place to eat.

I think breakfast is the only thing that can be improved. This was the only location on our tour where breakfast was rationed and the toasted bread really difficult to eat.

lovely calm stay

The beautiful location, views and garden. the room was big, comfortable and clean. and especially the lovely and super helpful hosts that answered our every request and recommended us some great things to do and see in the area!

you can hear a little bit from the room next door but that didn’t bother us.

WE had a pleasure

Very nice place, fantastic views , the real pictures exactly as beautiful as on the site :) Silent atmosphere, good beds and extremely good linens.

The breakfast is very fresh and nice served but very minimalistic, if you used to eat the full breakfast it's definitely not enough, just take in account .

I loved it and will stay longer next time.

The room size and view were great, was thrilled there was a balcony. The location of course was magnificent.

When the room above me was occupied it was very hard to sleep at night, I could hear eveything as the floors are wood. I wish breakfast was included, that information wasn't clearly mentioned in my reservation so I wasn't sure until I checked out.

A perfect place to stay for a relaxing stay, a very warm welcome assured!

Everything, so comfortable, lovely room facing the mountains, so many places to sit & relax in the gardens, super swimming pool. The hosts (including Pongo their dog) were so welcoming, they couldn’t have done more to make our stay so special, many thanks!

Nothing. It may be 3 miles out of Potes town but if you want a quiet relaxing hotel this couldn’t be better. There’s an excellent restaurant on the campsite only 5 minutes walk away if you don’t want to drive into town.

Comfortable rooms with beautiful view from the balconies. The owners are very helpful and provided a map of local hikes in the area and restaurant recommendations. Location is great assuming you have a car - less than a 10 min drive from Potes. Delicious and generous breakfast including toast, pancakes, yogurt and teas, coffees, juice. Lots of books available describing the local area. We did not try it but there was a small swimming pool.

Not much option for dinner in the evening without driving to Potes.

This booking far exceeded expectations, would love to come back for longer.

Wonderful location, amazing views, tranquil and relaxing environment. The host family was incredibly kind and welcoming. It felt like a second home. Lots of helpful books for adventures nearby.

We miss Pongo and the views

WOW, just wow. This Posada is truly gorgeous. They gave us a huge gorgeous room with a window with views to the mountain. It was spectacular as we went during a gorgeous sunny day. They have also a very clean swimming pool. Breakfast was copious and delicious with homemade fried pastries and of course the lovely Pongo, the inn's dog who was such a star and gave us a little tour around the posada. No, for real, he is such a well behave and cute dog. We loved him! The hosts were very chill and gave us space and time they also were around to answer our questions and gave us good info about a hidden restaurant in a camping nearby (for those who don't like driving at night)

Maybe it was a bit trick to figure which one was the right way to park but not too much. Also during summer because it is a farm area there will be flies but not a big deal. It is a bit far from Potes city (so not many eating options) but you gain on views and calm environment.

Perfect spot for visiting a beautiful area!

The location is perfect for visiting the area (close to Fuente Dé and Potes). Beautiful garden with a spectacular view on Picos de Europa (no better way to start the day than having breakfast with this view). Nice pool tops it off. We couldn't have asked for a better accommodation.

Beautiful!

The Posada is beautiful and clean, there is a lot of attention to detail and lovely flowers and plants around the house. Mother and son are super friendly, and the dog Pongo is very sweet. We were allowed to charge our electric car (thanks a lot!). A room with a balcony is a big plus as you can enjoy the beautiful view after your hike (ruta del cares!). Room 6 has great evening sun on the balcony. We did not use the swimming pool, but it looked lovely and perfectly located in the sun.

Actually nothing. If we really need to mention something: the WiFi was sometimes a bit slow, but that is expected in the area.

Very nice hotel with beautiful view of the mountains.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was cosy, spacious, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our excellent breakfast in the garden, with an amazing view of the mountains. We would definitely recommend this place!
