The room was great
Staff were super helpful and friendly
We didn't realise there was a pub, a little noisy, but wasn't really a bother as soon as we laid down we were flat out! Very comfy mattresses

Great place, very comfy and very clean. We got upgraded to a family room! The dog loved it too.
Perfect wee stay, nothing to report

Friendly staff, well located, clean and comfy, decent price, dog friendly (extra bonus marks for this!)
Maybe provide a better in-room coffee??

We could take our dog into this superbly located Newcastle hotel, the staff were all so helpful and friendly. We thought it was amazing value for money and spotlessly clean.
Didn’t find any faults.

Convenient situation for our purpose. Easy car park
Good and interesting restaurants nearby (e.g. Turkish next door, and Brazilian Steakhouse across the road - and Francesca's legendary Italian 10 mins walk (and 20 mins queue)
Dog friendly
Awkward access from reeption at rear door - steep staircase
(No lifts in any hotel on Osborne Road)
No breakfast available - Costa up the road 3 mins

Very Basic facilities. Clean room and clean bed sheets. Tea and Coffee facilities. Parking at the back.
Despite booking Bed and Breakfast. There is No Breakfast. This is a low maintenance low staff hotel. The Wifi does not work. The shower is very low power and barely useable. There is a karaoke bar at the front of this hotel - but it was shut at 11pm and there were no staff at all in the morning - and all doors were locked - and no breakfast facilities whatsoever. I left at 09.30 and went to visit my relatives whom I had come to visit.

Rooms were very clean, and spacious. Booked a double room but got upgraded to a family sized room
At check in, there were no staff to be seen, had to wait a while even though we had pressed the bell for attention as requested. No lifts and bedroom was on top floor. Due to layout of room, couldn't open bathroom door fully which made it harder to enter and exit.

I was looking for a quiet, clean and comfortable room in a small independent hotel in a nice area of Newcastle, with friendly staff, close to the centre and with free parking, and that's exactly what I found at the Kenilworth.

Very clean, comfortable double room.
Left very early on the 2 mornings with no problems at all.
Excellent car parking on site.

The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom.
It is attached to a very noisy pub. The reception is not regularly staffed. I had to call and message several times and waited for about half an hour before I was able to check in.
5.0
Plenty of space, clean and warm.
It didn't look like on the website and for a person who was travelling for work not ideal. It's based above a pub with student digs all around. Luckily I was tired so after 10 mins of music I couldn't hear anything. It was comfortable and if I was on holiday, would have liked it more. I would come here with family and friends not on business again.

Nicely decorated, lovely staff, and great location in student area of Newcastle. A short taxi into the city centre.
Water pressure in the shower was extremely poor, and bed wasn't very comfortable.

Lovely room, very clean and kept cool (it was during the very hot weather). Good size. Excellent value. Highly recommend this hotel. Very central to Newcastle centre, trendy area with shops & indoor/outdoor cafes. Very friendly and obliging staff.
Parking a little tight (but there was a big van parked there during my stay). Even so, parking spaces were still available.

Staff are exceptional, super freindly and helpful. Rooms are very nicely decorated, comfortable beds and spotless. We're coming back in November. It's a hidden Gem and a short few minute walk to the shops and bars.
Was a bit hard to find because the parking is around the back. But we got there in the end. Probably more of a Sat nav issue then a hotel issue.
7.0
The location was ideal, with access to the Metro to the centre.
The entrance is tired and the bathroom.

breakfast service was good - friendly and very helpful.
the room itself was very small, with a very small bathroom and limited services.
no wifi in the room - but this is a problem through out the area.
