Dieses Hotel ist KEIN 5-Sterne Hotel!

Die Lage des Hotels in der City!

Taxis können das Hotel nicht direkt anfahren, sie werden vor einem MERCURE-Hotel abgesetzt, dessen Mitarbeiter Ihnen sehr freundlich helfen. Ein zweiter Eingang existiert, ist von Taxis aber nicht anfahrbar. Die Rezeption erreichen sie über einen übel riechenden Hinterhof am MERCURE vorbei (Foto) und landen zuletzt mit ihrem Gepäck vor einer Treppe (Foto) zur Rezeption. Empfangspersonal existiert nicht. (5 Sterne? NEIN!) Die Rezeption ist meist nur von 1 Person besetzt. Oft steht eine Warteschlange. Eine „Guest Relation Managerin“ ist offenbar nicht in der Lage zu helfen. Das Personal selbst ist gegenüber Problemen ignorant. (5 Sterne? NEIN!) Alle 3 Lifte dienen stark frequentiert der Beförderung von Handwerkern, Essen, Reinigungspersonal und Reinigungsutensilien, jeder 2. Lift ist von Personal besetzt, der Gast muß warten. Frühstück gibt es auf Etage „M“, aber nur ein Fahrstuhl fährt auf diese Etage. Die Tische waren nicht abgeräumt und nicht gesäubert, Geschirr war schmutzig und das Besteck wurde vom Personal mit den Händen angefaßt. Man wird nicht gefragt, wo man sitzen möchte, sondern zwischen dreckiges Geschirr platziert. Ein Kaffeeautomat ist ohne umständliche Einweisung nicht zu verstehen. Gemüse kennt man hier nicht. Wenn man einen Kaffee möchte, soll man diesen extra bezahlen!!!? (5 Sterne? Nein!) Wir haben ab Tag 2 im Cafe um die Ecke unser Frühstück eingenommen. Was dieses Hotel unter „Aussicht“ versteht können sie sich auf einem weiteren Foto ansehen. Das Zimmer roch „abgestanden“. Die Toilette hatte zu wenig Druck, um Fäkalien richtig zu spülen. Das Wasser im Waschbecken lief nicht richtig ab. Nach wiederholter Bitte um Reparatur geschah diese nach 3 Tagen! (5 Sterne? NEIN!) Der Reinigungsservice kam nie vor 14:00 Uhr. Nur an der Hälfte der Tage war die Reinigung akzeptabel. An den anderen Tagen wurde nur das Bett gemacht. (5 Sterne? NEIN!) Die Fenster besitzen keinerlei Dämmung gegen Sonnenlicht und Lärm! Die Klimaanlage ist schwach...

Solid central Melbourne Hotel - great rooftop bar!

Rooms were spacious. Excellent breakfast buffet and menu options. Great rooftop bar with delicious pizzas.

Didn’t realize it was literally right in Chinatown, which makes for a weird front entrance (and even odder side alley entrance from the Uber). Front desk staff were not particularly friendly or helpful (or even knowledgeable.

We would happily return to the Pullman for another stay.

We absolutely loved your breakfast. Top marks to those who prepared it. There was an amazing choice of foods. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The central city location is a big winner and our room was quiet.

The pizza we ate at Blossoms was cold.

Great Rooms, Location, Staff and Service

The hotel rooms are fantastic, they are a great size, they have heaps of mirrors which was great for my girl friends and I. The staff are extremely accomodating anything you need is not an issue. The rooms have speakers and ghd hair straighteners. The room service is phenomenal the pizza is an absolute must. Thank you for an amazing stay. I have stayed in many hotels in melbourne this is my favourite. Will be back in April!

Absolutely spot on

Amazing location and absolutely incredible staff. Rooms presented impeccably ever day of our stay. Sparkling water tap on each level outstanding. And valet parking spot on.

Great location and comfortable

The location was great once we found it. Make sure to know where you can park as it is a one way street.

The pillows were way too high for a smaller person which didn’t make us sleep very well, otherwise the room was perfect.

Clean, central, expensive

Clean and well located.

There was no valet at the drive up entrance to meet us. Hard to find reception from there, while you are double parked in a laneway. Very stessful experience. Rooms were very small but very expensive

Very comfortable but a shame about the parking facilities.

Beautiful room and bathroom. On-tap chilled water and sparkling water just outside the door. Breakfast. Location in CBD.

PARKING is an issue. The hotel carpark is not close to the hotel. You have to walk through Chinatown... It's inconvenient, especially if dragging a suitcase. Two other carparks are closer but unavailable.

Had everything we needed, had a central location, lobby smelt beautiful, staff were always smiling and friendly, rooftop bar was stunning.

Would have liked a little more fridge space for our own items

Pleasant

Located in the center of CBD so everything was convenient. The room was spacious and clean.

The biggest issue for us was the attitude of one receptionist. We requested to change the room because our neighbors kept making noises during the break time. However, the reply we got was a poker face with a sentence “We can do nothing about that”, which was an upsetting experience.

Taxi from hotel to station. Driver rude & unhelpful. Silver cabs vehicle registration M 2918. We were dropped in side-street, not Southern Cross, with heavy luggage, which driver refused to get out of boot for us. We are 60yrs+ & in poor health. Very disappointed with taxi service.

Very good

The location is amazing and that’s why we continue to stay here. The bed are comfy and the sheets/ towels are very clean ( no stains) The free coffee facilities are a Nespresso machine and the free pods are delicious.

Our room smelt of spew in the corner near the cupboard. There was a babies bottle lid behind the couch and a used cotton tip next to the couch. I like going to a hotel and feeling like no one has ever been there before me. It’s a real turn off seeing and smelling this.

Convenient and easy stay, but lacking some finer details.

The location was right near where we needed to be. dyson hair straightener was nice to have. room was very spacious

The card keys stopped working on the final night, and I was locked out late at night. new cards were made but they also stopped working so had to go back and forth until staff came up with me. Lots of waiting around. Shower drainage was also very poor, and kept overflowing.
