room was clean bright with good food & efficiently run

The breakfast room was nice and the breakfast was nice. The usual things to help yourself to. Car parking good. Nice Hotel generally.

We did ask for a twin bed room and we got a twin room. The bed for me was uncomfortable, very soft mattress, but clean. Our room was facing the main road which was very busy so very noisy. Had to have the windows open as it was so very hot. I am sure the car park facing room would have been quieter, it was just one of those things. But didnt sleep much. could have done with dark curtains to help block out the very early morning night.

All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Well situated for access to Lyndhurst and the New Forest. Good breakfast.

The room was clean, reception ladies were lovely as well as the lady who made our breakfast in the morning. Good value for money.

Two sets of steps in the room, don't recommend going to the toilet in the dark 😂 If you're planning to use taxi or uber, plan ahea, taxi's are very expensive in the area = 28pound for 3.5mile journey.. Hard to get uber

Was a lovely little hotel, the family enjoyed our stay. Was clean and lovely room. Staff were really accommodating.

On arrival I found that we had been allocated a room which faced the main road. Having read reviews I expected there to be a lot of traffic noise in this room so I spoke to the manager on duty and he agreed to change the room for one which overlooked the car park at the back of the property. The room was really clean and had a large bathroom. Wifi reception was very good and the room fan was appreciated. Breakfast service was very good and the amount of food available was more than sufficient.

We had a two-night stay and the room was not 'freshened' after the first night.

Prefered a room at back of hotel as the road into Lyndhurst can get quite busy.

Location fantastic close to shops etc. Breakfast was lovely hot freshly cooked and plenty of it.

The hotel was in a great location, only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Lyndhurst and had free parking. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made a fuss of our dog. The rooms were comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. A full English breakfast was included, which was very good.

Perhaps a little more light in our bathroom.

The small double bedroom was really a single room with a double bed. You would not want to be too big to stay in this room.

Being woke up at 7.30/8 with builders banging around on roof above bedroom and not been told it was going to happen and breakfast was not included when it should of been as stayed before and it was

Good location. Good price including breakfast and also had a travel cot for our son. The room was a good size.

We stayed for 2 nights and I was hoping the tea/coffee/biscuits would be topped up but wasn't otherwise had a lovely stay.
