Le personnel est formidable, les piscines de mer surprenantes, le petit-déjeuner face à la mer nickel, et c est très propre.

La situation à coté de l aéroport, bien que très pratique, s'accompagne de quelques nuisances sonores (supportables). La carte du restaurant ne m'a pas séduite, et les prix (restaurant/hôtel) sont élevés.

The breakfast was excellent and with a chef preparing your eggs to your order. The room was very large and very comfy with a beautiful view over the ocean. The bathroom very nice as well with top quality amenities. We loved the sea pool down at sea level - with easy access to the sea. The heated pool at hotel level was also great. We did also enjoy dinner with delicious food and high quality service.

The pool by the sea is the best one on the island for me. Everything was exceptional for me; breakfast, dinner, room, service etc. Very friendly staff. Quiet area, but walking distance into Santa Cruz. If you wish to go into Funchal the airport is very close for the bus into Funchal.

The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is very quiet, there are no breakfast queues or big crowds at the pools like in big hotels. It's the perfect place for relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant surprised us with its excellent quality.

O ambiente sereno com vista para o oceano ao pequeno almoço, o jantar e o serviço que prestam em todas as secções são um exemplo de hospitalidade, indo acima e além para garantir uma estadia perfeita. A experiência à beira da piscina é de puro relaxamento, rodeada pelas rochas e o oceano. O Abatroz é um paraíso de requinte que excede as expectativas em todos os sentidos. Iremos voltar.

Marvellous staff, wonderful views and swimming pools. Plus, we watched a whale pass by as we sat on our balcony, overlooking the sea, drinking complimentary champagne.

Food could have been better.

Hotellet blir bara bättre och bättre för varje gång och det är fantastiskt att bo där innan man lämnar ön. Allt är spektakulärt, från havsutsikten, till maten och personalens service. Super att få kostnadsfri transport till flygplatsen!

Нам все сподобалося. Персонал надзвичайно привітний. Номер був просторий, дуже добре обладнаний і з фантастичним видом на море. Їжа в ресторані дуже смачна і загальна атмосфера дуже приємна. Басейн великий, і ми мали можливість плавати прямо в морі. Басейн зверху, з підігрівом, має чудову температуру і також є джакузі. Нам дуже сподобалося, це ідеальне місце для відпочинку. Будемо рекомендувати всім нашим друзям і сподіваємося скоро повернутися. :)

Excellent Stay! Wonderful Weather, Sunny January! We had the opportunity to have our delicious breakfast, launch & Dinner outside, on the terrace. Nevertheless, the best part of our trip was the weather and the temperature of the water which made our first dive of the year in the ocean unforgettable.

Everything was better than we expected, better than our other trips, all the staff gave us recommendations about local activities open to other suggestions to help us to get the most out of our time in Madeira.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club! The hotel is located in a stunning area with breathtaking views of the sea. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was spotless and had all the amenities I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. I especially loved the natural seawater swimming pools which were so refreshing and invigorating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Santa Cruz!

The staff at Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout my stay. The sea front location provided stunning views and the ocean swimming pool was a fantastic way to cool off while still enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Die Lage an der Küste ist spektakulär, der Ausblick wunderbar. Der ganze Ort strahlt eine entspannte Atmosphäre aus. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

An einem Tag roch es aufgrund der Windrichtung vom benachbarten Flughafen her nach Kerosin. Ansonsten war der Flugbetrieb nicht störend.

Sehr schöner Meerblick, erstklassiges Frühstück, man hört die Flugzeuge fast nicht, kann aber sehr schön Start und Landung beobachten, alles sehr gepflegt, außerordentlich freundliches Personal, nur wenige Zimmer, Wellness im Nachbarhaus, jederzeit wieder!

Ficamos impressionados com o contraste encantador deste hotel, que se destaca pela sua dimensão modesta dentro de uma propriedade tão vasta, repleta de jardins bem cuidados. A piscina do mar, ampla e convidativa, é um verdadeiro destaque, e mesmo em março, encontramos a temperatura da água bastante agradável. O nosso quarto, espaçoso e com uma varanda que proporcionava uma vista deslumbrante do mar, contribuiu para uma estadia memorável. O serviço exemplar prestado por toda a equipa, aliado às instalações impecáveis do hotel, incluindo o restaurante e as áreas de lazer, definitivamente justificam a classificação de cinco estrelas. Apenas lamentamos de que nossa estadia tenha sido durante a nossa última noite na Madeira. Teríamos adorado prolongar a estadia para aproveitar plenamente tudo o que este hotel oferece. O transporte gratuito para o aeroporto foi um conveniente adicional. Não podemos encontrar nenhuma crítica a fazer. Agradecemos por nos proporcionarem uma estadia tão agradável e esperamos voltar muito em breve!

Lovely to be treated like someone special.

When we entered the Albatroz we were immediately captivated by the breathtaking view of the sea from the lobby. The natural pool is truly stunning and has direct access to the sea. Every dip was a moment of relaxation, adding to the hotel's overall sense of tranquillity. The restaurant exceeded our expectations with its delicious cuisine. Every meal was a culinary delight, complemented by impeccable service from the friendly staff who anticipated our every need. Here we found the perfect blend of natural beauty and luxury, creating memories that will stay with us long after we leave. We'll be back! :))

Das Bett für mich war etwas zu hart.

Sans aucun doute la piscine d'eau de mer creusée dans la roche nous restera en mémoire: extraordinaire. De plus, nous avons eu le bonheur d'en profiter quasiment seul, c'était fabuleux. Mais le service, la gentillesse du personnel, la qualité des chambres et du restaurant, l'ambiance générale de l'établissement ne sont pas en reste! Nous étions si bien, que finalement nous (famille 2 adultes et 2 grands ados) avons passé 2 jours sans bouger de l'hotel en fin de séjour, ce fut délicieux. Cela nous a merveilleusement reposé de toutes nos randonnées. Coté cuisine: diner excellents et petit déjeuner formidable. Avec une mention spéciale pour le petit dej: un chef qui vous fait les oeufs à la demande le matin pendant que vous attendez au soleil face à la mer avec un Mimosa... top! Et puis merci pour les transferts pour l'aéroport, un coté pratique parfait Enfin un petit mais magnifiquement bien entretenu jardin avec toujours cette sublime vue C'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons!

J'étais un peu inquiète à la base concernant le positionnement de l'hotel en contre-bas de l'aéroport.... Nous n'avons franchement pas entendu l'aéroport. Par contre je dois avouer que du coté du jacuzzi et le la piscine chauffée la route est un peu bruyante.

A casa de banho da área da piscina aquecida não estava limpa. Não tinha salva vidas.

Hotel 5 gwiazdek na Maderze , w Polsce dałabym słabe 4. Hotel w starym stylu , taki w stylu PRL . W pokoju śmierdziało starymi meblami , starością . Baseny zaniedbane , ( chyba ze to poza sezonem ) aczkolwiek było sporo gości . Drinki marne ( a drogie ) jedzenie mega słabe . Mało smaczne , śniadania nudne , nie wyglądały zbyt dobrze. Mały wybór . Brak basenu wewnątrz . Nie byłam zadowolona z pobytu . Żałuję że wzięłam ten hotel na cały pobyt .

Trotz später Ankunft nach 23 Uhr wurden wir sehr freundlich vom Flughafen abgeholt und mit Sekt, Obst und Pastel de Nata empfangen. Die Flughafen Nähe störte nicht. Nachts war es sehr ruhig. Der Check out um 12 Uhr ermöglichte noch Pool Nutzung.

Superb location, the grounds, comfortable beds and fantastic restaurant, where the food is out of this world! The staff are incredible and nothing is too much trouble for them, especially those who have moved from larger, more famous hotels.

The room on groundfloor was very spacious and with a stunning sea view. The property was very calm and peaceful. It was a pleasure to take a dip in the pool. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and making small talks and giving advices. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Overall stay was very smooth so there is not something I didn't like. A minor improvement could be to better the access to the sea pool which is a little daunting.

Die Freundlichkeit sämtlicher Mitarbeiter. Sie sind wirklich am Wohl des Gastes interessiert. Besonders Karolina hat uns Ausflüge empfohlen, welche allesamt Top waren!! Große Zimmer, entspannte Anlage, Urlaub pur.. Die Nähe zum Flughafen stört überhaupt nicht.
