staff an absolute compliment to the hotel

Very good value for money. Reception staff very nice and helpful.

I'd like to know who gave this hotel a 5star rating? It was a nice 3star at best. No luxury that a 5 star should provide. Door was stiff against the floor/door frame so you had to really bash it open. Making a lot of noise. Stains on some of the bedding. 2 cochroaches kicking about. Hardly any sockets in the room

Staff very friendly. Not wide selection of food but food tasty.

There are not 11 different restaurants in one hotel. You have to walk to the other hotels to eat. There is a restaurant in the hotel.

The location, and general hotel is good. If someone had arrived with a little plunger it would have been great. Sadly this took a lot away from our stay.

We had a blocked sink in our bathroom and went to reception 3 times and were told on each occasion someone would one come to sort it. No ever arrived and we had to use the shower to brush our teeth. Not good 😣

Hotel was very clean, room was good, nice selection of food & it was great to have the option to eat in some of the other Grand Muthu hotels nearby - we were all inclusive. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from The Strip but a taxi ride away from the Old Town.

The nightly entertainment wasn’t great and the games room and the outside pool table could do with a facelift.

The hotel was great. We were looking for a decently priced apartment to stay in Albufeira and travel around the Algarve during the day to sightsee, shopping and do activities. This hotel is right on the end of 'The Strip' and has many restaurants/amenities around, including some of its other hotels. We chose the cheapest room as we only planned to sleep there but were upgraded to one which included a small cooker and balcony which was a nice bonus. The room was decent size to accommodate the four of us, with a TV and a fridge which actually kept the drinks cold! The AC worked well too. The room was clean and ample amount of towels. There is a safety deposit box in the room, though we had to pay a refundable 15 euro deposit for the key. The hotel itself was clean too and looked quite nice in general. The pool looked nice too (and clean) and although we didn't use it ourselves, there were quite a few swimmers in it. There was a small entertainment room which we enjoyed having a few games of pool in the evenings with the kids. One of the reasons for coming to this hotel was the fact that it had its own parking as I would not want to leave the car parked out on the street. The parking is easily accessible and there is an entry/exit barrier which stops anyone from coming in and parking there. I felt completely at ease knowing my car was safe and there were some cameras around. Not sure how easy it would be to find a parking there during the summer months though as there could be many more guests. We were happy enough with the hotel, that we booked an extra night of stay as we decided to extend our holiday by one more day. We would definitely consider staying there again when we decide to visit the area again. Special mention to the reception staff, Gina, Anabelen and the other lady (didn't catch the name) who were extremely friendly and helpful with our questions during our stay.

We liked everything really. There was a good compromise of quality for the price we paid. Tiny niggles (which some might moan about) which you tend to see in other hotels/apartments anyway. Maybe the main thing we would improve would be to have brighter lighting in the main room for when doing the makeup, etc.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal, a couple minutes walk from the main strip and less than 10 minute drive from the old town.

There was nothing I didn't like

The hotel is very well located, very close to the beach. Close to it you can find mini markets, bars and restaurants. The pool was cool as well.

It is not a 5* hotel. I am not sure how did they rate it but I would give 3* due to the old fashioned design of the rooms and lack of maintenance

The first room wasn’t nice. Was right by the restaurant and where people walk by after drinking so kept us awake all night! Also, had a very strange smell too it.

Area, no strip near by,the apt v v old fashioned,old school,no duvets on bed,yes 2 n wardrobe which were dirty, coz no covers for them,reception area looks good,but wasted need badly to do up rooms,balcony rough to,food so so,paper cups a bit to much,couldn't bring t a table outside the door,not much choice in alcohol,the staff not friendly yes 1 r 2 were but mostly not,the girls at reception really nice,bar staff not,

Definitely not five star. Poor light in room ac not working properly had fans so it shows that ac is poor. Bathroom was disgusting along bed the bedroom. Bed had bed bugs. Hated everything about this hotel. Avoid!’
