Ample free parking, electric chargers available and easy to use. Food is so good - both dinner and breakfast. Location is in a forest and surrounded by nature. Big playground for kids. Everything is treated with care.

Extraordinary location in the middle of the beautiful Lüneburger Heide. The food is really good (breakfast and dinner). For having a relaxed stay in the nature it's perfect.

Positives sides:
* the beautiful surroundings in that part of Germany - so many interesting sounds from the wildlife. Our kids kept asking so many questions every time they heard a bird, swish or grunting noise
* excellent food - it was huge portions! GREAT after woodland walking
* Super safe for children to stay there
* Fantastic craftmanship of the old farm buildings and nice to see the photos from long time ago
* Not so far to petrol stop
Negatives sides:
* Very far and intricate to find by car, especially late in the evening! Make sure to plan your arrival early.
* The extra bed linens available were not so clean
* The floors were also not very well hoovered, especially by beds and under table.
* Poor shower - very slippery for small children
* Bed mattress was so firm (but each to their own) Would have been nice with a medium kind of softness
* Little TV channels available to watch later in the evening
* Narrow steps on top floor (where we had our rooms). Hard to bring a dog around them up/downs

The location is fantastic and in the centre of the heath. Very quiet and an amazing restaurant with local produce. Owned by the charity that run the heath, so your money goes to support their excellent work. As a bonus you can watch their shepherd and dogs take the sheep in and out at the start and end of the day. Amazing!

The hotel ist located in a lonely region, called Lüneburger Heathand can only be reached by car. The hotel has several guesthouses. The meals are taken in the main building. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. All the people taking care of the guests are extremely friendly and helpful. We certainly will visit the hotel once more.

This is a wonderful spot in the middle of the Luneburg national park.
You are in the middle of the park and can leave the car parked.
Restaurant at the location is very good standard and there was even a few special craft beers available.
Large garden area where you can drink and dine, weather allowing.
Breakfast is really good and you can pack a lunchbox for a small fee
Room is nice and covers your basic needs.
Lack of warm water for the shower in the morning.
Access to the rooms is up at steep staircase and there was a step down to our room.
Restaurant is busy on weekends.
