The man on duty at breakfast time was helpful.
No breakfast option apart from cooked. Had message supposedly from hotel saying that I would be given a shower cubicle as requested ( I have bad back) but on arrival was told that the hotel had no cubicles, only baths! Room poorly lit and lamp broken. Only one chair for two of us.

The place was comfortable and clean
Completet lack of staff, i.e. only one person on duty also managing the bar, one chef was on in the evening despite hotel being full. No one around at breakfast time, so no coffee, no bacon for 10 minutes & only small plates available. Also fire alarm went off at 5 AM, I observed no staff to help evacuate residents, some were disabled.

Spacious bar, restaurant, sitting areas and outdoor terraces. Quiet.
The shower curtain and areas of the bathroom needed replacing.

Fantastic room and service by front of house excellent. Nice restaurant and bar and outside seating area was ideal in the warm weather.
Breakfast was ample and well cooked.
The hotel also had plenty of parking
Would definitely book again
Lovely location but a bit isolated if you are someone who wants a choice of bars etc, I didnt

Carpet and upholstery didn't look very clean
1.0
It was a room with a bed. There is nothing good that i can say past that
The cleanliness of the room was below standards, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly as there were faeces stains in and on the toilet seat and on the lid. There were marks on the surround of the sink that came off with one wipe of a wet wipe so it is evident it hadn't been cleaned. The shower head hadn't been cleaned and there were hairs in the bed. There were empty vodka bottles on top of the cupboard that were visible as soon as I walked in. The carpet had crumbs, hairs and rubbish on it under the desk.
I spoke with the receptionist to request it was cleaned and she stated "there was no one there to do that" and proceeded to go back to her mobile phone.
The breakfast in the morning was beyond a joke considering I had paid extra for breakfast. It was self service which I understand is the preferred way of doing things now but the bacon was undercooked, the sausages were over cooked, the scrambled eggs were swimming in liquid making them mushy, there were no tomatoes and the beans looked and tasted like they had been reheated several times. The hashbrowns were still frozen in the middle. There were no pastries, no porridge, no fruit, no yogurts and two options for the cereal.

as for breakfast, I felt that the price I paid was a lot, I know in the main it was cooked, but all I had was a small piece of bacon, two slices of bread and a cup of tea which cost £12, I feel there should be something in the middle, which would be a better option

Warm and friendly welcome. Tom Chelsea were extremely helpful and hard working a credit to the hotel. Hotel was clean and modern, room was very clean comfortable and smelt lovely attributed to Elaine (head housekeeper) Pat,Tara and Kim who all do an amazing job they deserve a payrise.
The breakfast times were between 6 and 9.30 too early for a Sunday.

Friendly staff, very welcoming and helpful.
A few cobwebs around the extractor fan and a few marks on the side of the bath.
Bed had been reduced to a double but the surround was still for a kingsize which made the side tables a distance from the bed. The quilt was a double but the cover was a kingsize which meant one side was mostly just cover.

location was really good
was not advised restaurant was not open and after a very long journey was told you can get Uber eats!
only 1 staff member on who didn’t know how to use bar etc, lack of stock and overwhelming prices for what drinks they did have
a couple staying and only 1 towel!
tv remote broken

it all went well including a welcome from Jordan and setting up radiator by his colleague ?dave -
the bath enamel is rusted on the top ledge which was unsightly - the tiled wall had strands of hair caught on it
in the middle of the wall so should have been seen - not the end of the world but a bit unsightly

Missing basic items (Water Glasses, Hand Soap, Plug sockets beside the bed), Towel rail hanging off the wall. Wallpaper peeling off
Environment:
One of the nights electrical hum majority of the night made difficult to get to sleep.
Breakfast:
Very basic, no fruit. limited choice

The staff were polite and approachable on arrival
Our room was freezing cold, so we tried to turn on the radiator and discovered this did not work, which in winter is something that should be in working order if people are paying to stay in your rooms. We checked the window to find that it was broken and does not close properly and this would explain why the room was so cold.
The bed sheets had a stain (which looked like dried blood) on them, the room was dusty and the bathroom had other peoples hair in the bath which again is not acceptable when people are paying for their stay.
We are not normally people to complain but unfortunately that explains how disappointing this stay was.

Nice and quiet
Slow service at dinner. Breakfast only warm and the croissant roll was stale

Everything was fine .
There was no instruction on how to operate the room radiator, it had to be trial and error although the breakfast was in hot plates the bacon was cold and there were no fried eggs

King size bed. Large TV. Nice restaurant and food. Comfortable TV lounge.
Only decaff coffee. Loose and exposed tea bags not sealed ones. No biscuits. No hand towels. Only one pillow each. Only two coat hangers. Had to pay a £1 on arrival incase we damage the room. Noisy extractor in bathroom. Only one teaspoon
