落ち着いた大人の宿

朝食がおいしく、また静かで落ち着いた宿でした。ロケーションもどこに行くにも便利でした。

温泉の大浴場のようなところがお好きな方は、期待はずれかもしれませんが、清潔で静かでした。

This hotel was recommended by friends and our stay was very disappointing overall. Not sure I would recommend this hotel

The location was perfect

The staff were unfriendly and did not provide a great experience overall. Lots of issues happen in our stay that made us very disappointed. No extra blanket were provided when requested on our arrival. We had to asked a second time on our second day to get it. The mattress felt old and were not confortable. The A/C made constant noise, even when off and made it challenging to have good night sleep. In the bathroom, the sink was constantly dripping and when using the shower, a constant noise was on.

Good location

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I was not warned that there was construction works going on immediately next door. The hammering and drilling started very early and was relentless! The hotel should have advised people of the situation at the booking page (and maybe offered a discount?). I only found out once I'd arrived.

Overall we found this an excellent business class city hotel and enjoyed our stay

We had breakfast at the hotel on one morning of our stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent value for money. The hotel's strongest point is excellent location, close to all transport hubs, an easy walk down to the river and within the heart of CBD. The room was clean and comfortable with all amenities one would expect at this price point.

Access to the hotel. If you have a heavy suitcase the choice is to lug it up a flight of steps or attempt to use a rather primitive luggage hoist. For a period of 24 hours or so, only one of the 3 lifts inside the hotel was operating

Lack of parking, we’re not offered a discounted rate for using Wilson’s parking… cost $51 for the one overnight…. Our daughter stayed the same Saturday, and also Sunday and their parking was on,y $25 for the two nights….

Other than parking, it has everything you need. Great location.

Parking isn’t available at the property. Wilsons is nearby and you get a discounted rate but it’s still really expensive.

We were given a room. On arrival to the room the door was open and it looked like the room was still being worked on. We were allocated another room which had a bank of air con units outside which operated all night.

Perfect location, staff were friendly enough and they did send us a bottle of wine to the room for our anniversary which was very kind.

Very old. Needs refurbished asap. Room was dusty and grout old/dirty in the shower. It was a bed to sleep in really, nothing more. I wouldn’t stay again. It’s very drab.

Don’t waste your time for emergency accommodation.

This was a horrible experience where the booking.com system submitted my room request but the property was unable to accommodate us due to “capacity and room cleanliness”

The duty manager was extremely un helpful.

Older Travellers

Position position position So central. Easy walks to Elizabeth Quay. Mall. Eateries. Train station. Cat bus to Kings Park. On off bus around town sites.

Needed a sign for door to not bother refreshing towels on short stays. Let's save the water.

Pleasant

The accommodation was good, close to everything, within our budget and the staff were friendly.

Over the ten days our room was serviced twice. If service was not included, the rubbish should at least be collected daily or let us know what to do when the bin is full. Unlike other Mantra facilities we have stayed in, there was no information in the room or provided on arrival.

A lovely place to stay with high quality customer service.

I left an expensive item in the hotel and the reception staff went to a lot of trouble to return it to me in Melbourne. They were lovely to deal with on the phone and did everything to assist me.

Comfortable, clean, relaxing, central

Great location, staff were friendly and helpful, easy access to taxis and bus service, staff can call a taxi for you, very clean and spacious rooms, option for buffet breakfast makes your morning simpler

The Mantra downstairs restaurant isn't open for dinner between Thursday and Sunday so I needed to go out for dinner or order dinner delivery for those 4 nights, also no food to room service, I had a few Uber Eats deliveries I needed to collect from reception

A modest hotel but pleasant stay overall.

The location for us is the biggest draw card. The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient.

I found it a bit worn out and in need of some smartening up. The fact that there is no access other than stairs was a bit surprising. There is a small lift but it seems it’s reserved for disabled people rather than getting heavy suitcase up stairs.
