I really liked to stay 2 nights in very center of Tarragona, would recommend this hotel!

Perfect location, Large clean room, comfortablre king-size bed, black-out curtains.

The floor is wooden which makes a lot of loud noize when neighbours move their chairs.

Een cadeautje!

Super locatie, Tarragona is een super mooie stad! Wij waren op doorreis, maar zeer verrast! Hotel ligt aan de hoofdstraat. Restaurants in de buurt.

Good! But...

The breakfast was amazing! Perfect location, the room is quite spacious and the bed is super comfortable. The bathroom was good as well. The swimming pool is a nice touch. This is a good hotel to stay short-term.

The pictures are outdated, the building shows signs of usage. We paid 150 Euros for 1 night, to be honest we expected something more. There was no mini fridge, kettle, no water bottle, only towels and toiletries. Big problem: the pigeons in the swimming pool. Even though they clean the area every day, there are a lot of birds that poop everywhere. Therefore we were worried about the overall hygiene of the swimming area.

Although there was no fridge in the room, we were able to keep our stuff cold within hotel's bar at the lobby.

The parking space at the hotel is very very limited, but public parking is right next to the hotel with, so it was OK.

Very good

Position was great, also a good breakfast and helpful staff.

We did not realise parking was separate & had to pay 18 euros for parking! The implication was that it was included.

Lovely quiet atmosphere, very chilled.

Location was excellent. Quiet, chilled sophisticated atmosphere. Balcony. Lovely please to sit and read with a drink, after day of exploring.

Good stay...nice breakfast. Too warm in the room. Not having parking the first day was a bummer.

Great value for your money.

The location was fantastic, room was clean and modern and the staff were very friendly. The room had a balcony with a view to the pool area. The hotel gym was surprisingly big and versatile, the pictures don't do justice for it. It's a great value for your money, but keep in mind that it is a three star hotel. If you don't expect luxury, you will surely enjoy your stay.

The pool area was full of pigeon faeces and the breakfast was quite poor. I can't recommend buying the breakfast in advance, you should try it first and then decide if you want to eat at the hotel or at some of the great cafes that are right next to the hotel.

A Pleasant stay in Tarragona

Very relaxed. Quiet calm hotel. Nice central location.

Room for 3 adults was a little confined.. . The bed that was added for 3rd guest made room very tight for space ...as we had to keep moving it to access patio etc..it also wasnt very comfortable. There was a bad smell in the bathroom( the said bathroom looked nothing like the bathrooms on the website)I did mention both issues to staff member shortly after occupying room but she was not helpful. However I did not allow it to mar our stay .

just a very good, reassuringly, nice hotel

It is so central, within easy reach of good restaurants . Great for walking to lots of the ruins and on the main Rambler. Lots of good shops nearby as well The room is always clean and lovely , the bed is comfortable. The big breakfast will keep you going until night time, the small one only allows one hot drink

The people in the breakfast start clearing up before the end of breakfast at 10-45, breakfast doesn't finish until 11 am, and one of the people is very curt and almost rude. I was in May and not sure if there is a bar in the high season , which would be good

Hotel Lauria is situated in the Heart of old Tarragona. A few steps to Ramblas Nova and "balcony" with excellent sightseeing. Friendly staff, also English speaking.

Fantastic time

Staff were so amazing and helpful, they couldn't do enough and helped us organise taxis and suggested places to eat and visit location was superp, 5/10 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to the old town for all the tourist sites and its located on a main street with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants around. The interior of the hotel lobby was amazing

Good days in Hotel Lauria

The location is pretty good, right in the centre. At the reception staff members were nice. The room was spacious.

The sound isolation is not good, you may have problems with sleep of there's a loud company nearby.

Great option to stay in Tarragona

Very nice hotel with mesmerising entry at Rambla Nova just near the viewing point. Room was clean and fresh, very comfy. Great wi-fi and inner yard with a small swimming pool to chill. Recommended.

Noise a lot of building works in hotel starts early morning until late in evening. Most hotels would have the good manners of informing guests of this but not this one

The staff need training in hospitality

On the positive side the hotel is central with underground public parking very close nearby. Again on the positive the rooms are a good size, as is the bed.

“I studied 5 years to be a receptionist, I am not a barman”, so spoke the receptionist at 7pm one evening on refusing to serve us a drink. This despite the bar being supposedly open according to the room literature and the receptionist on the previous evening having done so! Sadly this was the tone of Hotel Lauria – staff doing their duties but with no grace. At breakfast we were asked our room number but without being wished “good morning” or suggestions for breakfast being made. However the décor is faded, the floors scratched. The plug in the sink did not work and no lavatory brush was evident. If coming to Tarragona again I would not choose Hotel Lauria.

A very pleasant, and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful receptionists!!

The location was ideal for a one night stay with our dog. We were given a ground floor room which was good as our dog doesn't like lifts or stairs. The room was plainly but beautifully decorated, with good quality bed linen, pillows and towels. The bathroom clean and functional. Breakfast was multi choice with a good coffee machine. Situated at the back of the building, the room was very quiet, even on the night of carnival!

The room was very warm on entry as the sun had been shining through the window all day, and the windows were closed shut. We had to ask at reception how to open them!! It cooled down enough to be acceptable after we had been out for a walk.
