Hat nicht wirklich meinen Erwartungen entsprochen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The ants on the tables outside Napiers.
A delivery truck in few when eating our dinner.
No extras for the hot chocolate, it is advertised but they didn't have any.

Location was good and easy walk to the Thames. Hotel itself was really nicely designed. Everything was comfortable in the room and in working order
A nice spa experience too
We had lunch and dinner as well as the breakfast.
A good menu, lovely food though I thought a little expensive.
Staff were exceptional. Helpful and pleasant and really went out of their way.
We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. Staff were lovely (Ashika was super helpful with travel tips into Oxford and just a generally good host). Everyone in reception and the restaurant were fab.
The food in the restaurant was incredible - faultless.
The beds were incredibly comfortable.
Would (and will) return in a heartbeat.
The bar staff were a little less 'on it'. For example, my partner ordered two martinis and then had to wait ages for them and carry them the length of the bar/hall herself. It would've been nice if they'd brought them over.
Bar food not the same standard as the restaurant but I guess that is to be expected. Still good just not 'wow'.

Beautiful building and grounds. Staff very friendly. Loved the pool. Our room was very nice. Large and opened onto the garden with a small table to sit out at.

Evening meal in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant were both excellent. Room clean, tidy, nothing negative about our stay.

Fabulous location and the food was delicious
Parking charges of £7.50 per night - outrageous, especially for an out of town hotel - leaves a bad taste in the mouth and I won't revisit whilst they remain. Will you be charging me for the air I breathe next?

Beautiful place and location.
Room was clean and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay.
The Massage wasn't the best

The hotel was comfortable and staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious, with good working air conditioning.
The shower in the room wasn’t very powerful and every so often there was a strange hum in the room (it sounded like air in water pipes)! The room service food was very average for the price and it’s a shame that you have to pay to park per night at the hotel.

Good location, nice grounds, comfortable bed and breakfast was also good
Walls a bit thin so noise travels a fair bit.

dog friendly, with good walks from the hotel door
check in took quite a while, staff not that attentive. Our dog was not allowed in the eating area which meant we had to eat in the room

Booked with my partner to reconnect after spending months apart due to work commitments. The price for a one night stay midweek in December was exceptional and much needed. We booked a table in Napier’s restaurant on site and it was fantastic, the food and service was perfect. My partner had rang the front desk prior to our arrival, and the staff were able to upgrade us to a better room free of charge. She had also arranged for a bottle of wine and box of chocolates to be in our room as a surprise when we checked in. Unfortunately the surprise was given away at the check in desk, which was quite disappointing. The staff, however, did offer us a complimentary breakfast the following morning which was delicious.
Overall the experience and service was positive and we had a lovely and relaxing stay. In future I would rather encounter a higher attention to detail and some discretion to avoid the initial negative experience and subsequent “freebies” given to us to counteract it.

Claire, she was an Angel. She gave us a later checkout and was very helpful with suggestions when we asked about the city. Wanted to make sure we had an amazing stay and loved chatting. So nice!
Drum and bass from the Christmas party below that lasted for a while

The hotel staff were so helpful! The room was super clean with a very comfortable bed, especial after a long drive. The Hotel Spa was amazing. We will certainly be returning to this hotel when we visit Oxford.

Very clean room. Large grounds to enjoy. Lots of breakfast options.

The staff were extremely helpful, it was warm and very comfortable. The views of the garden and the river from our room and from our table at breakfast were beautiful and relaxing.
The only slight issue we had were our noisy neighbours who disturbed us on Sunday morning. This isn’t a criticism of the hotel but we were tired and jet lagged and so it impacted on us more than usual.

Lovely ambience next to the river. Good food in the restaurant. Room was comfortable and quiet.
In the room the bath plug mechanism was broken and the shower pipe had a massive leak. The Tv system was not working. The computers were down on arrival and they demanded full payment (why not at checkout). £7.50 for car parking when I had already paid £288 per night for the room. WiFi is not secured so dangerous. Even their website had a fault at the top of the home page. They must try harder!

Dinners were good as well as the breakfast.

Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Facilities are great with a lovely pool and beautiful gardens along the river. Red Bridge Park and Ride is only a few minutes away and a great way to get in and out of Oxford.
Only disappointment with the hotel is that it advertises it has three electric car charging points, and to be honest it was the only reason I booked this hotel, but when we got to the hotel, we find it is only three external ‘three point sockets’. There is no electric car charging. Bit of a misrepresentation.

Location, comfortable room
Dining ambience was very poor
Problem with card not sorted quickly

On previous occasions when we have stayed here we have found the hotel to be clean and the staff helpful.
Didn't end up staying here (but have on many occasions previously), unfortunately our dog became ill and we had to take him to the emergency vets, staff at the hotel said they would accept our cancellation and would refund but then didn't honour this.

Great selection with delicious fresh bread too (loved the bread!) although disappointed porridge was charged as an extra. And seemed to be a problem with weak coffee dispensed from one of the coffee machines although this was being repaired on our last morning. Excellent waiting staff.
Porridge was charged as an extra.

Evening was wonderful, the staff they made our stay more comfortable & joyful, especially the reception staff, they did a great job, help us with all our needs, and the restaurant staff too. Definitely recommend it and for sure we will stay again, what an amazing experience. Thank you all.
