The location was brilliant, the staff were brilliant and they were so accommodating with my parking.
I liked everything.

The rooms were spacious and very good shower with toiletries, towels provided.
Extras in the room were a nice touch
Complimentary pool access was really nice especiallythe relaxation room,, the area was a decent size with good facilities and cleaners on hand.
One of the rooms was booked as a double but my friend got a single room. We didn't complain as it was one night and also her gin bottle didn't have a sign on it. Room 17.
We found the pool area to be really busy, almost overcrowded. We knew that there would be kids but they were bombing in the pool off their shoulders and it made the experience less relaxing. We said if we had paid for a spa day or treatment, we wouldn't have been very happy.

The spa facilities are really lovely. Great range of indoor and outdoor pools / jacuzzis and nice sauna and steam room.
The first bedroom we were offered was quite dark but the staff were great about letting us switch to one with more natural light.
Overall vibe of the hotel was relaxed and attractive.
Lovely shower and comfy bed.
Breakfast was enjoyable but nothing special.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite and the facilities are good. Also very well located for Kew Gardens and Richmond where you can walk the river path into the town. I recommend.
If you struggle with Mobility the escalators start in the second floor, which I guess is a quirk due to the age of the hotel. It's a very minor flaw. Also parking is actually a public pay and display car park on the hotels grounds outside the main doors, so it's possible you may turn up and not be able to find a space at busy times (we had this problem for 15 mins on arrival.

The hotel was fabulous the room was so comfy and the facilities were great too, definitely return again for longer to enjoy facilities.
Paying for the parking every time you took the car out as
Appose a set fee for 24 hrs

The location had lovely scenery the rooms were clean and up-to-date. The spa facilities was great..
It was great that they gave you robes to go to the spa. However, they need to have more variety of sizes. The price you pay a night the minibar should be free..

The location which is so close to Richmond park is a pus, also the spa area is lovely to get some down time with your partner. There is lots of good restaurants near by which is lovely to have if you are staying at the hotel.
We have been a regular guest at this hotel for quite some time and have always enjoyed my stays without any issues. However, my recent experience was far from satisfactory. Upon check-in, we were informed that a rugby team had occupied most of the rooms, and we were given a room on the lower ground floor under the reception area. The noise and commotion from above made it impossible to get any rest, despite assurances from the reception staff that the noise would subside.
After a sleepless night, we approached the general manager to address the situation. Despite being initially told that no other rooms were available, we were eventually moved to a cramped room upstairs. The level of customer service displayed by the higher management was disappointing, with one manager even dismissing our concerns with the statement, "you can't find peace in hotel rooms," which was both shocking and unacceptable.
Overall, our stay was marred by the lack of consideration and professionalism exhibited by the hotel staff. The suggestion not to book during the rugby season is not a valid excuse for the subpar treatment we received. Every guest should be entitled to a comfortable and peaceful stay, regardless of any events taking place at the hotel. If the hotel cannot accommodate individual bookings during such events, they should refrain from accepting reservations altogether.
In conclusion, my recent experience at the hotel was unpleasant and stressful, primarily due to the inadequate customer service and disregard for guest comfort. I hope that the management takes steps to improve their service and ensure that all guests are treated with respect and consideration.

The wellies which can be rented for free are a nice touch, to walk around muddy Richmond park. It’s nice that the hotel has a pool and outdoor hot tubs but they are small and overcrowded so we didn’t get much use of them.
We forgot toothbrushes, had to call twice and wait over an hour for them. We asked for champagne glasses and a bucket and an hour later found out they were sent to another room. The coffee pods were not replaced after the first night so again we had to ring and wait for them. Netflix took ages to set up and wasn’t a simple process. We were celebrating our wedding night and got upgraded to a room with almost no natural light. It was incredibly hot, so when we opened the windows we realised it didn’t help as we were facing a wall outside. Very disappointing stay considering the price which didn’t include breakfast.

I am a returning customer to this exquisite establishment. I was impressed as I always am with my stay.
This time, I had a slight issue with my room and it being uncomfortably stuffy. When I stayed it was in January and extremely cold outside with the temperature flirting around the freezing point. Considering this, without windows to access the outside ventilation and cold: my room got extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. So much so, I had a shower in the morning and before I managed to get dressed I had already started sweating. I will be returning but I CANNOT stay in the same room again.

Location is perfect - close to the park and pubs and cafes within walking distance. Bathroom was spacious.
Room was fine although backed onto the carpark so wasn't very private as we couldn't see out of the window. Shower head was installed on the roof wasn't high enough to stand under!!!

My partner & I had a memorable stay. We work long hours in the city, and this was a nice break away from noise & traffic. We mainly came for using spa facilities and were recommended, beyond expectation, not too busy on Sunday, which was nice. We were pleased at check-in and been upgraded to a spacious room more than we expected & enjoyed every moment of it. The hotel is beautiful, we had a wonder around late evening exploring beautiful artwork & sculptures nicely decorated throughout the hotel & in the room. We miss our Scandinavian breaks our Finland villa, so the outdoor hot jacuzzi with good temperature was delight to use in the evening, though it was one windy night, we all survived, nothing compared to -15 degrees in Helsinki. Great views from our room facing Richmond Park, which was a short walk. 10 mins walk down the hill find local cafes & sainsbury. We took a cab from Richmond Station about 10 mins by black taxi cab charge you just under ten pounds. The hotel price was reasonable for two. If the weather is gloomy in London, this hotel ticks all the boxes to enjoy, unwind & dine in the hotel. Lovely restaurant, bar, coffee lounge area you can sit, relax restaurant provides all 3 course meals. The food was lovely, you must try the lamb shepherd pie & chips. We had a coffee machine in our room was nice & you also have an option for room service, which we opted for breakfast so we had a nice lie in before check out- we were blessed with sunshine on check out so we went exploring Richmond Park. Staff were friendly & accommodating. Good service in restaurant & prompt room services was surprisingly quick. Spa facilities were clean and well maintained.
Nothing, everything was great.

Lovely room, the most comfortable bed. spacious and two chairs (which is something often missing in hotel rooms!)
No view.
Need more hooks to hang towlels.
Feel booking.com should be clearer re additional charge to use the swimming pool/spa.

Couple of changes since our last visit - charging for the car park and charging for use of the spa was a shock as previously these had both been included with the price - just all adds to the cost of 1 nights booking and then feels not so value for money !!

Location is beautiful and convenient to local amenities. The hotel is a charming boutique style with very good wellness facilities.
The room temperature was too hot for me and there is no thermostat, they do provide air conditioning but that can be drying I would prefer to be able to turn down the heat via the a thermostat.

It was a total waste of money . On the website it says we could use the gym and the spa but because we booked the room through booking.com we had to pay £20 everytime we used. Total rubbish
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone
They should be honest on the charges but not change things when you are checking in.

The room was beautiful and the overall flow of the hotel was amazing.
The spa was clean and had lots to it, the relaxation room was stunning and the restaurant was lovely.
You have to pay a surcharge for the Spa when booking through booking.com which isn’t obviously stated when booking.

Bed linen and leaving.
The parking, (very little, no disabled and extra cost) the distance to the room from everything and no lifts.. (I'm disabled..) The views were totally unacceptable.. There was no way this was a superior room.. The beds were sunken and the windows looked out onto brick walls and roofs..
The menu and food was appalling. Over priced and lacked choice and quality. Then they tried to over charge us for breakfast etc...
Very very disappointed.

We stayed in the Harbour Hotel in Richmond for my boyfriends 23rd birthday and we absolutely loved the hotel.
- The spa was beautiful and clean, which made for a perfect relaxing weekend - exactly what we came for.
- The room was spacious and well-decorated, and despite being on the ground floor, very quiet.
- The location was perfect - close to Richmond Park (seconds away) but also walkable to the town / river for walks and shopping.
Unfortunately, on our arrival we were greeted by a fairly unpleasant member of reception staff. We're certainly not the type of people to be negative, and apart from this experience our stay was lovely, but the hospitality we experienced on arrival slightly tainted the stay.
The young male staff member (no name badge) seemed unbothered by our arrival as we stood at reception waiting to check-in. Once he called us over he acted in a rude, arrogant manner about our request to use the pool facilities for an hour as we arrived and our room wasn't ready [despite calling on the day to have this request verbally accepted by a friendly female member of staff]. His arrogant behaviour continued as he failed to show us around the hotel (we noticed other people who arrived after us receiving tours / Prosecco), and spoke rudely to his colleague on reception. The whole experience made us feel uncomfortable and very very unwelcome. When we returned to reception later, a different staff member was surprised that we hadn't been shown around, or welcomed appropriately which validated our concerns.
We hope this will be seen to immediately.

Couple of extra charges when you get there e.g. parking and access to spa.

Great location and the spa was fantastic.
Overall it is a pleasant place to stay due to the spa and location, but our room didn’t really match up to photos online. It appeared a little tired in places, for example there was a hole in the bathroom door and it just generally needs touching up. It was a bit overpriced for what it was. For the price we payed it felt underwhelming in all honesty. Our room seemed more like a “cozy double” rather than a “standard double room” as it was quite small. The one price for breakfast also feels unfair especially when you only want something small such as a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea. The phone in the room didn’t work either so I had to go to reception each time we needed something. I feel it needs touching up here and there and breakfast needs to be reevaluated. This would make a big difference in my personal opinion.

The hotel has a lovely location, at the top of Richmond Hill and near the entrance to Richmond Park. The restaurant is good and has nice spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Having access to the health club and spa was great; there are very good workout facilities and a nice pool, and lovely outdoor spa area with hot tubs.
The room/bathroom was nicely renovated, however the lighting in the bathroom is a miss. The light over the sink is insufficient and shadowy. A small maintenance issue that we requested on the first day went unresolved throughout our long stay. Housekeeping happened very late each day, often in the mid to late afternoon.

Excellent in-room facilities: kettle and Nespresso, air con, good range of TV options, free gin, mini bar (reasonable charges) excellent shower pressure, very comfy bed. Pool big enough to exercise, outdoor jacuzzi lovely even in the rain, sauna and steam room. Had a really good massage and there's a relaxation room to chill in after. Restaurant food OK (not brilliant) but service very good. On site parking.

We were pleasantly surprised that our room was so well equipped with mini fridge, tea and coffee and bottles of water. The bathroom was large with his and her basins.
The weather!
