The perfect, comfortable/ classic place to stay in Santorini to feel the atmosphere, be right in the heart of Oia an

Great location, beautiful architecture. We watched the famous sunset view from the roof of the property, so stunning. The staff were INCREDIBLE. We were given a tour of the area as soon as we checked in, and provided with detailed and personalised recommendations on what to do in the area. Staff also organised a transfer back to the port and even carried our luggage to the taxi for us. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

Can’t really complain about anything! Bed was a bit firm.

The location was perfect. The backyard patio area was the best place to watch the sunset. The hosts went above and beyond by giving advice on what to do in the area. It was the best experience and I would highly recommend!

WE LOVED IT, highly recommend! Christos Apartments made our stay in Santorini really memorable!

My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights and we LOVED it! If I could give Christie apartments 10 stars, I would! The location is really convenient. It’s located on the west end of Oia, relatively close to the castle and Ammoudi Bay. The room we booked was very spacious and had very tall ceilings. The dome-roof made the room always about 10 degrees cooler. Angel, the host, was so friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, he helped with bags and gave us a wonderful tour of the town. He offered many suggestions of things to do. His wife Alexandria sent a great welcome message with several recommendations, which we followed. This is a wonderful property and I highly recommend it! I would definitely come back to stay at Christos Apartment.

There were 2 minor things. One, the wifi in our room was very slow and would often get disconnected. I had to work from the room a few of the days and the connection was quite weak. Two, the shower space was a bit small and shower curtain kept sticking to me when I showered. I’m a relatively petite person, so I imagine anyone larger would have a difficult time as well.

Exceed expectations. Wonderful stay.

Wonderful generous hosts who spent a lot of time with us. Beautiful complex of old buildings and courtyards, original home of the family. Short informative tour of the immediate surroundings to get us grounded. Simply stunning location in quieter part of town.

Great location and amazing staff, please follow all their restaurant recommendations. The owners are super welcoming, eager to help out on bookings and rentals. the view of the sunset from the property is unmatched.

Like home

Location is perfect being just down a small street then you are right on the main street. It has an amazing private terrace to watch the sunset. Hosts were so welcoming and friendly, we received so many recommendations and help from them. Can't wait to return!

Our hosts were SO, SO helpful! First, they sent a full description -- about 5 pages! -- of activities that are enjoyable in Oia and on Santorini. Then when we arrived, after we put our bags in the room, our host oriented us to the town and gave us quite helpful tips. This is a precious family that has lived on Oia for generations, so they really know it. They also kept the room clean and arranged for our transportation.

Good location within all sightseeing spots while still quiet. Very helpful and accommodating host.

The room is close to the Oia bus station and within 3-4 mins walking distance. We were able to check-in earlier than schedule. Christos gave us a quick walk around Oia and gave us useful suggestions. The room is close to most of the important sightseeing spots. The room was clean and had basic amenities as described. The internet speed is decent. The kitchen is very basic but doable. The room was very quiet and away from the busy, touristy street while still being close to everything. Christos helped us by arranging for a cab to the airport.

Christos was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the location was great. We were able to enjoy the sunset on the balcony for guests, away from all the crowds. Christos lent us a beach umbrella and towel, organised our taxis, helped us with our laundry, and was lovely to talk to. We were so close to the pretty alleyways with bars, shops and restaurants and yet it was reasonably quiet in the evenings. Highly recommended.

Splendid location, wonderful and attentive hosts! Kitchen is a big plus. We have had an unforgettable time in Oya!

The Best Choice for a Great Stay in Oia!

Christos Apartments is a wonderful place to stay in Oia! It's located a very short distance from the main walkway through town, so you're never far from all the restaurants, stores and beautiful views. But despite that short distance from all the action, it's a very quiet and peaceful location. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a loft bedroom upstairs (I was in the Studio with Balcony - Split Level No. 2). Nice bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. Excellent WiFi. There is a private terrace above the apartments that gives you an awesome view of the beautiful Santorini sunsets that everyone falls in love with. So you don't have to jockey for a position along the crowded walkways to see the sunset...just sit back and relax on the terrace and enjoy the view! But the best thing about Christos Apartments is Aggelos, son of the owner (Christos). He arranged for transfer from the ferry port to the apartments, greeted me when I arrived, gave me a tour of the apartment, the property, and the surrounding area so I could orient myself. He also gave suggestions for restaurants and places to see. Agglelos lives on the property with his wife (Alexandra), so he is always around to answer questions, offer advice and suggestions, or to just chat with for awhile. He's very friendly and helpful...a perfect host! So glad I stayed here during my time in Santorini. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in Greece. Highly recommend it!

What didn't I like?...that I had to leave! There really are no negatives for a place like this.

Amazing experience

We enjoyed so much staying in the one bed room apartment built in 1843 by Anggelos’ grrat grand father. The shared rooftop terrace is perfect to relax and see sunset on our first night and we were the only guests there so feel like a private terrace. There are many areas to relax I think even the hotel is full you still can find your spots. The best is the hospitality provided by Anggelos who gave us a quick tour of the neighborhood and told us his favourite spots to eat which were all perfect! He told us more about Oia and it was great to see and feel his passion and pride in his family business. It was personal atmosphere which made our stay in Oia special. Since it was built over 100 years ago so bathroom /kitchenette is small but it didn’t bother us. We ended up eating at Lorzo/Katina instead of cooking but we were glad that we ate at those restaurants as food was delicious and breakfast at Vitrin and relaxing at pool bar were perfect. Make sure you check them out! Hope we will be back again

Authentic stay in an old captain‘s house in Oia

Great location in a quiet but central location in Oia just a few steps from the famous sunset point. Great place to stay in a family- run business. Spacious apartment in a 150 yrs old captain’s house with lots of Charme and ambiente. Despite of its location very quiet all day & night. Hospital and very helpful owners helping with tips and restaurant recommendations. Clear go!

No breakfast offered but plenty cafes nearby so no problem.

Absolutely perfecg

We arrive and were welcomed by Christos’ son, who is really nice and gave us a little and very useful tour of Oia. The energy of the people hosting us was amazing. Alexandra helped us to find a lost bag, she has been exceptional !! Thank you for everything again, we will definitely be back !!!

It felt like to be host on family - our family. Christos and his son, were so kind, help us with suggestions where to go, arrange sailing to the volcano, recommend us on great and chip restaurants. The place is also very warm, like home :-)

Very good location in the heart of Oia. Restaurants, most important sights and a nice swimmingpool all within max. few minutes walking distance. Simple but cosy room to stay for 2 nights to explore Oia. Family owned, they gave us very good hints about the must sees and dos around.
