The staff was amazing and grain of all our respect - working so hard under a weather so hot above 40 C)

The property is in a great location at Telchac, just at the beach and close to the Marina Kinuh. The surroundings are great and there are attractions nearby (pink lagoon and Xcambo’s ruins. The entertainment team is very dynamic and have many things to (you can borrow bicycles, kayaks)
The premises need maintenance as there are rooms that do not have functioning AC. The pool area has furniture without cushions. The food and drink hours are predetermined (as if you were in a Camp or excursion). Restaurant Staff is prompt to assist, but seems to be short of people as you need to ask for things repetitively; front desk is very helpful though.

Servers try to be nice to make up for the poor service of the facilities
The resort was almost empty and the facility needs several repairs. They had a power outage and the room was too hot. The resort’s offer an all inclusive with buffets during breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offered a la carte menus to save money on the preparation of the food. After breakfast my wife and my self we got sick, assume it was due to the power outage that we got poisoned with food. Out last day was ruined due to the food. Not many choices in the menu, once you get cream and sugar, the server took it away and never brought it back. The resort is on survivor mode. Do not even work the long drive to get there.

The food was good
The facilities are very old and not well maintained. Stained towels, and it does not have hot or even warm water. The wi-fi did not work in our room, only very near to the restaurant.

The cleanliness of the hotel was good.
Part of the property is destroyed by beach erosion.

Playa hermosa !

nice pool, comfortable rooms and helpful staff
on checking out at 12 you are not allowed to use the facilities at all (fair enough no food etc but just to hang out by the pool?) Not good if you have travel much later in the day. You do have the option of paying for the pool only but out of principle we didn’t as I’ve never known this before in any hotel we stayed at.

Staff at kids club was super friendly and barman.
People from the kitchen was rude and all inclusive food is not tasty , far from any standard restaurant in the region , forget about seafood offer at all , not even simple comfort food as tacos or hot dogs meet met my expectations

Beachfront was old

Rooms are big and pools were also of good size. Entertainment team work really hard and get everyone involved and shows were good showcasing their hard work and dedication to training and practice
Water pressure in rooms was excellent
Staff - try their hardest and the hotel is lucky they have them as they are what holds it together as REEF chain do not
This hotel is advertised as 5 Star All-Inclusive. This is NOT what it is. It is a 2/3 star at a push. Lobby has been renovated however the rest of the property really is old and dated and again NOT 5 star.
Food - very basic for breakfast lunch and dinner (snacks were good although geared towards kids with chicken nuggets and chips
Rooms - Big but OLD OLD OLD. A blanket with a sheet on the top of it. CUSHIONS for pillows that are far too small to rest your head on
WI-FI - What 5 Star hotel in todays modern world does not have wi-fi throughout the property. Even where they advertise it in public areas its weak
Restaurant - WHY do guests have to wear a plastic glove to get food however staff do not as they touch more of the food than a guest does. No chef at preparation station on both mornings we were there. Had to wait until they arrived.
Food quality very basic.
MASSAGES - Payable extra - attempted to have a massage however was told that they are not there, We would have to wait until Monday. Great when we leave on Sunday ufffff
Public Areas - broken steps leading to rooms, plug sockets missing around property. Nails sticking out of the old tired wooden frames on bridges over pools. Wall falling down on beach, sunbeds on beach area very old
Masks - on our last day there was people without masks on at the food stations. NOBODY questioned them although when we came in the door we were asked to put them on (pics of a person using their IPAD as a mask going around picking food
Bar - All-Inclusive should mean exactly that. Bar person left two times, 1 for over 20 minutes leaving people standing at the bar waiting. On the 2nd time he actually didnt even come back . Quality of alcohol was exactly what you buy in an OXXO shop. 120 pesos for 1 liter of vodka/gin.

Under no circumstances should this hotel be classed as a 5* hotel, it is very old and tired, and with many health and safety issues, lose wire, broken step, missing pool tiles, falling coconuts from the trees, broken locks, basic furnishing.

Staff was excellent and very helpful.. Very much worth the price. Great value.
We wish there was more actual beach to be on. But over all it was great. The place was not very busy. I think it would be bad if there were a lot of people. Also our toilet broke and we had to ask to get another room. I appreciate the fact that they tried to fix it as fast as they could but it was late and we didn't want to sit around at night while they worked on our toilet

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I liked the facilities a lot, the pool was nice, as well as the beach area. The room was also very nice, huge and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a cockroach as soon as I got into the room and that made me nervous the rest of the trip because I really hate bugs (altho there was no other one after that one). The bed was comfy and the air conditioner worked like a charm. Very very spacious room. It's in a very remote area (limited cellphone signal) but you have everything you need right there.
The cockroach situation was definitely something I did not enjoy. The wifi was very unstable and most of the time it didn't work properly (especially in the rooms... in the common areas it worked a bit better). Food was good, but it often was cold and cocktails could have been better.
