Apart from the hotel, the restaurants as well as spa were amazing. Its a pity that we discovered this property too late so we could only stay a night
The glass house was too cold over winter. They could add more gas fire place

Sensational Babylonstoren. Unbelievable attention to detail. Incredible staff. Such a treat to be immersed in such a spectacular environment

The appointment of the rooms and attention to detail of Babylonstoren is amazing and it was a superb two night stay. The concept of farm to table is phenomenal. Spectacular gardens and mountain drive with amazing views.
The offer for breakfast was a wonderful selection. However when it came to the hot breakfast there was not enough attention paid to serving it timeously once cooked. The eggs were overcooked which was extremely disappointing in a hotel of this standard. We chose the pork for dinner at Babel which was dry so a bit of a disappointment as it was my birthday dinner.

Stunning location, lots to see and do, amazing food & drink, and extremely good staff. Could not recommend this place enough, we will 100% stay again!
The biggest selling point is the location, truly unique!
Service at breakfast and in Babel for dinner was very hit and miss, felt like they we were waiting for / looking for staff to order, and waiting for food took a long time. Felt like they were understaffed perhaps. I wouldnt normally notice this but given this is a 5 star hotel you'd expect better dinner/breakfast service.
This was the only disappointing thing during our stay as everything else was perfect! Would still highly recommend!

Babylonstoren needs to decide what it is: a tranquil place based around a working winery or a wedding venue with loud music til 01.15am

The style , the team , the gardens , the farm shop , the scented room , the wine , the restaurant …. the experience was totally exquisite .
we only stayed two nights & wish we could’ve stayed longer !

The overall ambiance was excellent . The rooms were excellent and so were the staff . They were very customer focused and went all out to make the trip memorable . The breakfast was outstanding . The lunch at the greenhouses was also excellent .
The dinner had the same menu for both the nights . May be some variation would have been nice . The food was good but not as great as the breakfast .
Felt that the price was a little to over the top for the experience .

lives lived in one of the older houses which looks a little run down for the quality of this hotel.
