Beautiful ryokan with a big amazing garden with rocks, plants, trees, streams and carps (really remarkable).
Beautiful room, very spacious and clean. We had the room with the private onsen, very nice, and view on the garden.
Delicious breakfast and dinner, thoughtfully presented and curated to the smallest details.
Very nice public onsen with indoor and outdoor pools.
Great staff, very helpful and kind.
It was an extremely pleasant stay, I wish we had spent more nights there.
I would absolutely recommend it!

Absolutely loved having our own private onsen
Room was really big and spacious
Really private and relaxing
Tha garden was Absolutely stunning, the koi fish were beautiful, I could watch them all day.
The only thing I would say is we did feel a little bit unwelcome some of the time.
The staff were lovely but it did seem like we were being a bit of a hassle. Maybe because we could not speak Japanese? I'm not sure. Still a fantastic place to stay, absolutely stunning

Great ryokan with an amazing half board menu. I definitely recommend booking the room with private onsen…
Said to have a no kid policy on booking but I wasn’t the case..

Amazing garden, great dinner and breakfast, pleasant crowd and staff, outdoor onsen, indoor onsen, we stayed at the room with the private onsen which was great; we really enjoyed our stay, we stayed for two nights and could have stayed more
check out at 1000am is a bit too early and not common....1100am is more reasonable
our room was close to the water with the fish, which was great, but there were some small insects flying around, and the windows don't have a net.......it could be useful to use a net then you can still enjoy open doors without the hassle of waking up from flying insects or mosquitoes

The room size and layout was very well planned and the private onsen was spacious and nice.
The kiseki dinner was beautifully curated. Location was nice and close enough to the station. The ryokan also provide free shuttle service.
The breakfast wasn't as good as the dinner and 2nd day was served in a communal room instead of a private room probably due to manpower shortage.

Dinner was served in our room and was an exceptional meal. Breakfast was also very good and was served in a larger common area with plenty of space. The garden was amazing! Lots of walking paths to wander around. We loved how the rooms faced the garden and we had a waterfall right outside our room.
The hot spring bath in our room was very nice; the only downside was the lack of privacy. There was only a partial pattern on the glass between the sitting area and the bath.

Fantastic internal garden. My husband told it was best onsen he had seen in Japan.

Fantastic garden inside, even kids want to come back as it was so beautiful. My husband appreciated onsen for men, his best experience after many years in Japan.

The property is in a beautiful state of cleanliness, comfort, and culturally represents the proud distinct beauty of the prefecture.
My family should have stayed longer!!!

The best onsen I’ve been to in a Japanese-styled hotel. Inside of the hotel is a small maze of stone gardens, waterfalls, flowers and ponds with carps. Really fun to explore. Fantastic for photography.
