The surrounding grounds were very good. It was clean inside and the layout was good. The staff were friendly. The air conditioner was good and warmed the place up.
The bed mattress on one side was ok but on the other side seemed that the springs had gone and was very hard to sleep on. The frypan needs replacing as it was warped and would not sit on stove and the coating was worn off and the food was sticking. The bedroom glass sliding door lock was broken and could not be locked. The bathroom needs an exhaust fan as it steamed up badly.

Comfortable complex little cottages. Swimming pool. 10 minute drive to Nelson Bay / Port Stephens Bay.

Location was nice and surroundings as well.
Cottage although in need of some minor maintenance works was nice.
It is a little run down and in need of some TLC - maintenance.
The cottage we stayed in had a funky smell when first arriving and we had to open all doors and windows to assist in removing the smell.
The bathroom was not very clean and no fan in the bathroom$$$$

Neatly appointed cottage. The grounds were neat and tidy. Pool was good enough for a short swim. Barbecues were available for those wanting to cook outside.

The area and the feel of the park being so close to the big dunes...
Mattress in master room !!!...guys really!?!?...sorry but it was way too soft and I felt like falling into a whole....neck and back pains 😫

Really convenient, and added touches such as placemats, fruit bowls, basically everything you need for an extended stay. Wish we spent more time near the dunes- too much to explore near this area. The pool was great, and we made good use of the laundry facilities. An easy trip to the local pizza store after a long day if needed with children.
Possibly only having one towel for the 7 days, but we didn't ask for any extras. That's on us!

Accommodation is clean. Not too many units so it's more relaxing and not noisy. Close to the sand dunes and beach.
Didn't have as much facility for kids to do as other holiday parks.

The cabin was dirty and poorly designed. We had to move the chairs to open the fridge.
We were given a pet friendly cabin when we didn't have a pet.
The room had obviously had a pet in it before we arrived.
The TV was in such a position - it was high and too close to the chairs - we could hardly watch it.

The room was a tad small which I didn't expect but was still comfortable in which we were able to have a nice weekend away. The room having a stove was great meaning we could cook each night.
When we checked in we had a $200 amount that we didn't know about. To be notified before hand that there was a $200 fee would be nice.

Staff were really lovely, Location was peaceful but I was a bit surprised at how far we had to travel for food and a sea swim etc.
0nce I got over the disappointment of being a drive away from a beach, I loved the sand dunes.
The chalet was clean but basic and we got really really cold at night and needed to use all the extra blankets and heater provided plus wear warm clothes over our pyjamas. Yes it's winter, but we are from the UK so were surprised at how cold it got!

Great quiet location right behind the dunes, did an easy walk both mornings to watch the sunrise from the dunes. The staff were really friendly and accomodating, and let me check in to my cabin early. The cabin was clean, well appointed and comfy bed.
