Such a warm and friendly welcome at this wonderful chateau. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with bread, croissants, cheese, ham and an incredible selection of homemade jams. We ate dinner at Le Parc in the nearby town, which was great.

The surroundings are beautiful, as is the château. I would highly recommend to stay here! We were made to feel extremely welcome, a reservation was made on our behalf in a nearby town. We had a wonderful night sleep, followed by a lovely breakfast the next morning

Extraordinary surroundings, quite different from other B&B's or hotels you may be used to. Staff (owner and his wife) were very friendly. If you like home made jams and marmelade, you will love this breakfast. Definitely a good place to remember.

Fantastic old rooms gave you a real sense of the history of the Château and the grandeur of the building. Madam & Monsieur were very nice and very helpful, even helping us to get rid of a bat that got in to the room…top tip, don’t leave your windows open in the evening!
The château is a little remote, so if you are there early there isn’t a great deal to keep yourself amused and being B&B it meant having to travel 10km to find a restaurant to have dinner, but that is a small price to pay to stop in such a building.

An amazing chateau in an idyllic location. Large rooms with high ceilings offering a real sense of history throughout. A very accommodating host offering a lovely breakfast. A stay that will last long in the memory.

Fantastic place, quite and picturesque. Very friendly and nice owner. Comfortable rooms, comfortable bed. It was very quiet all the night.

The breakfast was really good with all sorts of drinks and food available. Everything was freshly prepared and brought straight from the kitchen by the owners themselves. The place is just really pretty and quiet. We enjoyed the landscape of the beautiful park behind the castle while we had dinner on the back terrace. We could also go for a walk around the park which was really relaxing.
There was nothing not to like at the place. The service was excellent, the location is great and the place is just stunning. I would go back in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone who's planning to stay in the region.

Thus beautiful chateau is a perfect location for an overnight stay, just off the motorway. We had the warmest of welcomes and a large, comfortable bedroom that made for a perfect and uninterrupted night of rest, the other guest rooms are well spaced out and there was no noise to bother anyone.

Very friendly attentive owner of the chateau. This chateau is a very authentic and typical french country home. Absolutely privileged to stay here for a night. Rooms are spacious, well decorated and has a french nonchalance to it which makes it special. Do not expect posh or fancy things. Just enjoy the grace of the building and it's owners.
The breakfast is one of the best ever eaten in France!! Fresh bread and croissants with various cheeses, cold cuts, 11 different kind of home made marmelades and there is more....all served elegantly in the main dining hall.
At night the frogs give a "concert". A stroll through the chateaus park makes the experience complete.
This is absolutely a place to return to!

Excellent location. Very good experience to sleep in an old castle. You have the possibility to experience what is was like to be the owner of a castle. The owners are very friendly. From here you can visit the famous castles in the neighbourhood, which are about 1 hour drive from the Souesmes castle. A good stop over when travelling to the south of France. Highly recommended!

Superb breakfast, friendly staff, large rooms and the little river just behind the Château. Perfect place for the kids to have fun and swim.
