A cozy small hotel right close to the beach. The room on the upper floor faced the sea, and in the morning we were waking up at the sound of waves... beautiful.

Towels were a bit too thin: not a big deal of course, but a suggestion to the owners to replace them - one can find really low-priced towels now with good quality, and sometimes such very small things make a difference in the perception of the quality of the hotel. The lock in the door to the bathroom did not fit to close. It is not that I wanted so much to lock myself there :) but come on, if there is a lock in the door, it should be working :), and it is very easy to fix it. Anyway all these small things of course did not overshadow the magic of this beautiful place.

The location

They refused to include breakfast for 2, and insisted only 1 breakfast was included. 1 tiny pc of soap in the bathroom... I could go on and on

Table and chairs not so clean

Small hotel not-quite on the beach of Etretat. Room is clean but not overly so. Our room on the 3rd floor hat a small balcony with view of the falaises and the sea, which was great. The breakfast, served to the room because of Covid restrictions was tasty: strong coffee with milk, fresh croissants and pain au chocolat. Enjoying it with the view was a very pleasant way to start the morning.

The room decoration is a bit aged and quite minimal. We got some enjoyment out of the print of a dog on the toilet lid, although on aesthetical grounds it is questionable. Rather pricey for the value.
