Great views, amazing location and roomy villas in the heart of the Hunter.
The staff on reception were really helpful on check in allowing me to check in early to help my work schedule. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen well equipped. Nice fluffy white towels. All the basics - big ticks.
Hunter is expensive at weekends but I was able to stay for one night at market rate which is why I booked. The villa was good for purpose and I would recommend with a few caviats as below. Overall I'd say it's pretty good value if you want somewhere to sleep at night when wine tasting during the day.
The apartments are dated and the pool area a bit uninspiring. The restaurant wasn't open which would have been good but there are local places and reception were very helpful in making recommendations.
The bed sheets and the towels, floors, sinks, bathroom were all really clean however the blinds were really dusty and when I went to lock the window there were lots of dead flies in the runners so a bit of attention to detail is needed.
When I checked into my room I realised all the windows had been closed but not locked, the safety lock on my door was missing and the fly screen / security door had a patch missing so wasn't secure at all. As a woman travelling on my own this wasn't great and made me feel a bit nervous - although I do appreciate in general the Hunter Valley is very safe.

Nightingale Winery was gorgeous! Amazing view sitting on the front porch of our villa. The owner was wonderful and gave us a few wines to taste, we ended up purchasing the Shiraz and Sav Blanc. The villa was clean and in an open layout which we loved. TV with some channels.

the property was a little tired, could do with some freshening up.

The owners and staff went out of their way to ensure that we were safe, comfortable and well-informed during the major flood event in July. The room was beautiful with great views. It was lovely to have lots of wildlife around us as well.

Really liked the location and how peaceful the spot was
I stayed here around 6 years ago and it was lovely, it must have changed owners. Really dissapointed by the cleanliness. I went to use a shower cap and it had a hair dye stain, other stains, a hole in it and extremely thin which makes me think they are rinsed out and used again, that really disgusted me and made me think what else is going on with the toiletries. The bed was old and pillows were flat. There were no extra blankets or pillows. Not quite worth the price and 'luxury' that is stated in the title. Should be a 3 star hotel instead. Really needs a good uplift.

I travelled to the Hunter Valley from Papua New Guinea to attend my son's wedding. I booked accommodation quite late so there wasn't a lot of choice close to the wedding venue (Adam's Peake Estate). Turned out Nightingale Villas was approx. 15 minute walk / 2 minute drive away. The location is stunning and accommodation clean and very comfortable, and staff were super helpful. I didn't get to try the breakfast menu but I did sample wine from the local vineyard which was sublime. The temperature was crisp, as you'd expect in June, but skies were clear and blue with awesome cloud formations!
Nightingale Villas staff were very honest about their continuing struggle to get broadband connection via Telstra, so sadly internet remains very patchy. I also found it difficult to communicate with Nightingale Villas prior to my arrival. I was unable to get a response via the phone number or via email. That made me a bit nervous but everything fell into place once I got there.

spacious and more than adequately equipped . in vineyards. well located in Broke
Driveway was badly potholed . licks on two doors difficult to open and shut

The location was lovely and our villa overlooked the vines and the mountain views in the distance. It was nice and spacious, comfortable and peaceful. Cellar door is a short walk away if you need to pop over for a bottle of wine.
There was nothing I disliked, the only issue I had were the tiles on the verandah which were very slippery when wet from the morning dew. Make sure you have shoes on when you step out in the morning to have your coffee while enjoy the beautiful view.

Villa was nice and big very comfy loved the spa
Water pressure in the shower and spa was really bad, due to flooding we couldn't use the main drive way so had to drive between vineyards got bogged so did everyone else staying there. Owner should of sorted that out before we arrived.
