Prima appartement op goede locatie

Very good

We arrived much earlier than the normal check in time. Staff were happy to provide us with a room early. Very much appreciated especially after our international flight

The location was close to the main street and the property backed onto the beach.

Nit very clean with stained sheets and towels.pool area furniture was broken and very dirty. Water didn't always work for shower Very run down and tired. Staff were not really present.all the time. This was not worth the 220usd we paid. Ifit it cost Half that I would have left a better review as I.could have forgiven some things but not at this price. Much better accommodation around at this price. Avoid.

Top stay!

I would stay in the beach apartments again and would highly recommend. My thanks to the staff memebers whom I met and got to chat with during my stay. Also, the security guard who stayed up late to facilitate my late check and on another day made me an unforgettable cup of coffee whilst I awaited pick up by friends near by. I had a lovely stay. The hotel balcony features a perfect spot to watch the Sunrise or set on the picturesque beach with lively waves! Deffinately call down to the pool which is well cared for by the staff. I miss the sound of the ocean waves and surrounding nature already!!

So much credit to the property but feel the whole ground could benefit from a touch of fresh paint.

A bit of TLC needed such as greater attention to cleaning grout in bathroom, loose tiles around pool needs fixing, touch up paintwork in exterior of building and replacing cracked tiles in main entry. Balcony and pool furniture needs refurbishing.

Difficult to leave a feedback!

Nice personnel. The manager did his best to accommodate us (really)! He allowed us to move to a better apartment, further away from the famous church! He replaced the TV, fixed the washing machine, supplied everything for the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good with a SIM card router. Best apartments end by 3 or 4! BUT!

This location (Negombo) is not suitable for tourists! Surroundings are dirty, dirty, dirty! The church (20m away) starts ringing the bells at 5am on Saturdays and 4:30am on Sundays (when the service starts they have loudspeakers around). There are thousands of crows migrating every day (north in the morning and south in the evening). And they are loud! Garbage is thrown on the beach by the locals around the hotel! The landfills are often set on fire. If you want to visit Sri Lanka, choose the south! Cleaner and more civilized.

Beach front apartment with a pool clean and comfortable apartment located in themain street.

The property was located right on the beach front and offered stunning views of the ocean. Enjoyed spending time at the hotel's pool, which was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was comfortable and clean. The sounds of the waves crashing on the shore was soothing and relaxing. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway. It's located in the main area and there are plenty of food/coffee shops around within walking distance.

Sunday mornings could be a bit challenging due to the neighbouring church services.

Good stay

Location is great, both for the beach as well as restaurants and shops. Fair sized apartment with balcony and air-conditioning. Good sized kitchen. Excellent staff.

No cooking utensils given that there is no food served at the apartments. Cleanliness can be better. They knew I was arriving in an early morning flight, as I had written to them and called to speak to them about it. I had booked and extra night the previous night. Yet, there was no one at Reception when I arrived and was made to wait for an hour before someone turned up. Later, I had Wi-Fi problems. The manager managed to appear helpful while he gave me instructions on how to connect to the WiFi, for the best part of the day. It didn’t work and I had to have strong words with him as it was a workday and I had work to do. It was almost 3 pm when he got a workman sent upstairs with a separate modem and it worked like a dream. The technician also told me how to connect and it was completely different to what the manager had been asking me to do!! Ignorance, incompetence or both?? I lost a whole day’s wage by then. No apology from the manager, just a gung-ho attitude. But he did respond well to a request to keep hold of some items I had left behind. Special call out to Asanka and Sebastian, for their exemplary customer service based on their innate warmth and hospitality towards people. They deserve credit for making my stay comfortable.

One night in Negombo

Friendly staff, spacious and clean, well equipped apartment (they even provided new toothbrushes and toothpaste!).

Very early morning bells tolling and singing from the Church next door. So a bit noisy, but still a nice and unique experience.

Very good

We had a big apartment with a balcony overlooking the sea. Big glass doors with lots of light. We used the kitchen a lot. We loved the couch. It made us feel like at home after 2 months of travel. The TV had plenty of English channels. For us, having so much quality space, was the most important. And the pool was great.

The wifi is not secure, and due to this, it was not possible to surf to any official sites. So, organizing hotels and payments was not possible, and that is my biggest minus. We had this place for a very cheap price due to the situation in Sri Lanka. So for what we paid it was very good. But if they want to get to the same level they were with similar prices there is a lot of work to be done. Maintenance is lacking and hardly any staff. No catering. But we understand they have to have time and money to invest after the dramatic fall of the economy. So it will be a balance of price quality for a while. I wish the team lots of luck and strength

Great views massive apartment!

Amazing huge apartment with beautiful views to the beach , lots of bars and restaurants around , really clean , friendly professional staff really helpful and caring . We felt so well look after !! Thank you so much Nashmeer for your service and the rest of the staff !! We will definitely come back !!

There is a Church next to the Hotel , in the morning you can hear the music around 6 am what is actually perfect to wake up and make the most of the day !

Pleasant

The hotel is right on the beach.

The restaurant was closed, everything was dusty, the room was not even clean on arrival. The church next door plays loud music/ prayers at 5AM.

They tried to rip of booking.com and the customer. purchased this property for 2 nights for my niece and they wanted to take money from her on arrival and said they would only take my money from my card if she did not turn up. Cancellation fee was the cost of the stay so I ended up blocking my card. very bad experience. Made up a lie about not being able to accept EU credit cards in Sri Lanka without the cardholder being present which is not true. stay away from this place unless you book locally.

Not much

Rooftop bar was supposed to be the best, but without alcohol license just drinking a water ... Hotel is located just next to a church where the bell rings every half an hour Pool was dirty and chairs full of bird poop Had to leave on emergency back home with no compassion at all from management. My advice , don’t spent your money on this hotel and safe yourself a headache. Take goldi sands next door for less money and you won’t regret your holiday.
