A wonderful place in the middle of nowhere, great views and food, luxurious room, restaurant and terraces. Rachid is great, a friendly host with many languages and plays the gambril really well! Just go here and explore the hills and valleys...

Authentic family run Hotel with excellent kitchen

We absolutely loved our stay here and when back in the area definitely will want to stay longer ❤️ travelling with a tween,toddler and teen we had booked 2 rooms but with smaller children we would have easily fit into one. The very comfortable Beds can be moved towards a wall to accommodate co-sleeping. The rooms have blinds to fully darken to ensure a good sleep. You can watch the sunrise 🌅 in the morning behind the palm trees In front of your windows. The hotel is a small family run business and Mohammed welcomed us on arrival. He not only helped with luggage 🧳 but ensured we get comfortable in the rooms before we have to deal with paperwork which was much appreciated 👍 within a few minutes we settled and a fresh Moroccan tea was served to us next to the pool on the Terrasse. We ordered some food for dinner and went for a hike. On our return the table was set, the fire lit and the most amazing chicken tagine was served to us. So tasty we could have licked the plate! The same was true for breakfast, the home made produce was very tastefully arranged and was so tasty, especially the orange 🍊 jam which was not bitter at all. You can see the Berber culture shining through in dishes and decor and we absolutely loved that.

We wish we would have booked a longer stay to explore the region longer and to try more dishes from the menu.

Ace!

Fantastically welcoming hosts! Both Hassim and Rachid have big open hearts and will go the extra mile to make your stay the best. The place is entrenched in local life and contributes to livelihoods. Rachid is a wise deep thinking man and well researched spokesman for his people the Berber. Great job keeping this place as well as studying and teaching ! I was lucky to be there at a less busy time and when I got there late evening I got absorbed into a small cheerful party. Memorable joyful evening sharing stories by the fire with a bit of a jam and dance session. Next morning, breakfast by the pool above the stream surrounded by beautiful scenery, holiday pace...perfect! Thanks to Hassim for being a great guide and for being in tune with my very chilled pace🙂. Drove onto the dirt tracks to his village meeting people, many playful kids, the terraced fields, the farmers at irrigation time, his own olive tree plot. Home made couscous is arranged and then into the lush mountain gorge with its clear water pools, wildlife and low-key charming bamboo shacks. Let’s hope people will be sensitive to preserve the environment here. A very genuine and friendly encounter

Simple but Magical.

Simple tiny Guesthouse in paradise valley. The real assets are the People around, the owner Rashid and his family, the stuff, as well as the locals. There is some magic going on at this place.

Loved absolutely everything about it. Staff were very kind and friendly always made sure if you are okay. Showed me around to see a natural pool which was nice. Well mannered staff. Beautifully peaceful and quiet. Nice bedrooms, very comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. Hot water. They have natural olive, lemon and pomegranate trees which was a surprise to see. They have their own pet cat and dog. Very friendly and safe environment. Favourite part is at night. The amount of stars you can see in the sky is ridiculous! Definitely would come again. Also can't forget the amazing views around the hotel!

Better on the inside than the outside especially when fire is lit in the common room downstairs. Rooms were comfortable enough. Bathroom was clean. Staff were helpful. Has a lot of potential.

Pool area and outside all needs an update. Cold enough in the rooms. WiFi was not great.

The staff was very very kind. The guy who was there has been very nice. He fulfilled each of our requests. He was always smiling. I really liked that. The dinner was amazing. All homemade. The place is really suggestive and it seems to be back in time. The swimming pool was also cool! Silence and relax are the key words for this place. Prices are very low and it is really worth it.

We had a wonderful stay and a very friendly host. Rooms are big and offer a nice view in the valley. Tip: accommodation is very remote in the mountains - plan enough time for your journey.

rooms not clean staff unfriendly unfortunately

we were stranded with our car which made half of the group not catch up up to the hotel. when we cancelled our stay we didn’t get half the reimbursement back like promised in the policy. the rooms that we checked out were not clean and the hotel staff didn’t care about our request.

I try to be objective each time I write a review and I don’t like it when a experience had been bad. unfortunately i have to warn people. we were stranded with our car which made half of the group not catch up up to the hotel. we were a group of 9. when we cancelled our stay we didn’t get half the reimbursement back like promised in the policy. the rooms that we checked out were not clean and the hotel staff didn’t care about our request. I send multiple messages afterwards and called but they never got back to me.

The location is perfect! close to the paradise valley, for anyone who likes walks in the wilderness it's a must (just walk down from the hotel all the way to the valley and then decide - either go right in the direction to paradise valley or left to Berber valley and make a day trip back to the hotel (the staff will tell details and show you a map) Rashid (the owner) is extremely friendly, he invited us to his place for dinner every night, his wife is an excellent cook and made traditional food for everyone. His friend Yassine took care of the rest and was very friendly and polite., he also cooked the best tajine we've had in Morocco. We booked 1 night but decided to stay longer! PS I hope I spelled the names right

Nature, L.ocal people, local food

We had an airport transfer organized with the hotel. Once we arrived, we got a warm welcome phone call, letting us know we were being expected outside. We took our time with the customs paperwork and money exchange, and never felt the need to rush. The driving journey was very smooth, specially taking into consideration the Moroccan traffic. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are local and daily picked for freshness. All our eating requirements were understood and respected. The hotel, room and surrounding nature are truthful to the culture and habits of the Valley. We took two different walks in two days, and were shown before what we could see and do in each place. In Paradise Valley there is time to relax, contemplate and enjoy your time in nature, learn more about Morocco, eat well, and ask all the questions. Myself and my husband found the hotel owner and the employees very welcoming. There was an effort in pleasing and showing hospitality from the moment we arrived. The internet connection was the best we ever got in Morocco, as they just got a brand new router. We totally recommend this place.

Amazing place, environment and staff! Unforgettable experience! Calm & relax!

For 4 days we loved the sounds of the birds, the refreshing pool, the great food, the wonderful host Rachid and all the helpful and friendly people working there! Also the palm trees and the calm environment ! The host took us to the most amazing places and surprised us with tea and star watching. He showed us the places he also enjoys and organizes hikes to natural pools and in the mountains. He really knows the good places and his prices our MORE than fair. He even gave us a tajine cooking lesson :) We had an unforgettable time with Rachid! He ‘s a wonderful person with a very warm heart. Thank you so much! We really hope to come back sometime!

Some more effort to reach perfection.

The location is very nice and in general the hotel is beautiful and has good value for money. The view from the room is beautiful. Food was also simple but very tasty. The bread in the morning breakfast was amazing. One of the staff members played a traditional guitar, and it was a very beautiful moment.

The rooms were not clean to the standards. We had to change the first because of a big condom left in the toilet, which was unpleasant. Rooms are very dark, also. The staff was nice, bit not so prepared, it seems that everything took longer time than expected and came without much logic. For example, at dinner tea and cookies was served as a starter, which was strange. The fire in the fireplace turned off soon after was started and nobody thought about restarting it.

Peaceful Relaxation close to nature

The hotel owner and the staff does everything to make the guests happy. I missed a good coffee latte at first, but as I booked a second time to extend my stay they were serving me a good one :)
