The host was very friendly and accommodating I trying to set up boat trip and assist in finding a lost cell phone.

Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast hostess was charming. The location across from the beach is great. The train station is right across the street, too, if you don't have a car. Parking for our car was easy, just a few steps around the corner.
A number of serious issues all added up to a completely miserable night - so miserable that we walked away from 400 Euros to change locations.
A fan should already be in the room when you check in! This is a hotel with no AC. A fan is a "no brainer". The host is not available after 8 pm so when we returned in the late evening and realized how suffocatingly hot it was in our room it was too late to ask for a fan. We opened the balcony doors for some air, thinking we would use the giant mosquito net suspended in a knot above the bed, but when we untangled and lowered the net it overwhelmed us with the smell of dust! It must not have been washed or shaken in a long time. The only blanket available to keep the mosquitos off us was a hot duvet style blanket. Why, - in a room with no AC? We desperately needed only a sheet to keep them off but there was none.
The bathroom smelled terrible in the morning after being closed up all night. I think the cleaner did not disinfect the toilet brush and holder before we arrived and the heat incubated a pool of stinky water.

The hosts were friendly very helpful. The location is directly opposite the beach, and right near a train and bus stop, so very convenient for getting around. I wish I stayed longer!

I loved feeling welcome and at home immediately, like staying with friends. Plus my room was huge with a lovely balcony to just spend time
Though I adored being so close to the beach, it did come at price of being a journey away from a choice of places to eat & places to explore.

All the staff were really lovely and helpful. Ernst recommended and booked us a nice restaurant for the evening. Breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely garden. The location was perfect for us as we wanted something just outside Lagos with parking nearby, and it was nice being on the beachfront.
The only thing that could have been improved is if there had been a bracket for the shower head - a very minor complaint!

We didn't love it
The room was very simple. we had to leave the room and to cross the hall if we want to get into the Bathroom.
The bed was horrible , the pillows were not comfortable at all. we needed to fix the bad During the night.
There were no TV no air conditioning nothing to make a coffee in the morning and there were lots of mosquitoes.
Even if we would paid half of what We paid €120, It's too much way too much.

Great breakfast, varied and scrambled eggs prepared on demand. Little common spaces, very cosy and sufficient to create a pleasant homelike atmosphere. Location near the beach and far enough from (crowdy) city center. Art decoration and gadgets make the house still more charming.

Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Got a lot of information around the place and really good recommendations for restaurants.
There is a nice pool outside and every hour there is a bus that brings you to the centre of Lagos in less than 10 minutes (1,20€ p.P)
It's outside the centre but we liked it, because Lagos was crowded by people (end of July) and the beach in front of the Guesthouse was also not so full of people like in Lagos directly

It was an amazing experience. The location is perfect to avoid tourist crowd of the city center. The train station is at a few meters (you will not ear any noise), the wonderful beach of Meia Praia just in front of the structure, not crowded. An electric train and a bus service the place, and permit you to join the city center in a few minutes. The house and the apartment are furnished in a refined way, the environment is very Zen and a very good energy. Finally, I would spend some words for the host and his wonderful family, they all was very welcoming, facilitating my stay in every way. Thank you to permit me to feel at home. I hope I will come back!

From the very beginning everything was perfect. It was great to get local advice. Breakfast was delicious, lovely use of the pool and so close to the beach! I will definitely return again! The train and bus stop is right outside the door, very convenient getting to places!

Fantastic! A flying visit for a friends wedding nearby and we were INSTANTLY made to feel at home.
Fantastic service, brilliant facilities and only a €6 taxi / Uber from the centre.
Fantastic, we look forward to coming back.

Very good breakfast, friendly staff and nice swimming pool. Very close to the beach and quiet at night.
We thought, we could use the bathtub but it didnt work. Unfortunately the WLAN connection was bad in our room as well as the mobile data connection.

Very nice hosts, wonderful breakfast.
No air conditioning. The only alternative in the rooms in the second floor is to leave windows wide open at night. In our stay the high temperature and the mosquitos, from having windows wide open at night, prevented from having a good night rest. It would be a great improvement to have at least ceiling fans to allow a good night sleep.

What a great house! The family that runs the house is so nice and helpful! They pointed me in the right direction for seeing sights and getting the most out of the Algarve. Anything I needed, they went out of their way to make me feel at home. Fantastic breakfast in the morning! Great location! My room was fit for a queen!
Mattress was covered in plastic and crackled every time I moved. Not very comfortable!
