Price, the location very strategic, easy to access to Hin Bus depot and other place by walking. Clean and smell good 👍🏾

Got 5 sockets in my room (room no 4) but only 2 sockets got function. The other 3 socket cannot use. please repair.

This is my 2nd time here , it’s really clean , good location , they upgraded improve now , FREE earplugs for all guest . Very comfortable well sleeping . 😊

Great location, lots of tourists attraction within walking distance Special shout out to Mr fuad the receptionist, was a great help for me, introducing places and things to do...he is friendly and helpful, finish my solo penang trip with happy experience

Bring ur own ear plug, behind is newly open bar, the music quite loud

Okay, for a couple of days

The location is central and close to many restaurants

The place smells a lot like feet, and I think it's a bit too expensive for what you get. In the shared rooms, there is no privacy (no curtains), and to go to the bathroom, you must go downstairs. I'd recommend it just for a couple of days.

The location was good if you wanted to go to the Malls.

The room with a loft for the second bed was very small. It was clean but the entrance was a sliding glass door.

Good stay in Georgetown

Basic but a decent hostel to stay in. Comfortable and quiet inside at night (nothing can be done about external noise).

Wash facilities are too far away from the dorm rooms and only 2 toilets/3 showers for the whole place will not be enough for peak travel time. Door access codes written on the well next to the rooms brings security and fob keys into question and is slightly concerning especially considering the place is not monitored at night.

The same magnetic key for the Entrance and the dorm Free potable water

2nd floor no shower, no toilet and sinks under repair No towel. After around 5pm its self checking. It seem to be a one man staff.

lovely staff - friendly and helpful :) facilities were adequate. Staff allowed me to stow my baggage until 2pm which was kind.

not a large communal area so not always a place to sit. there is a bar outside the complex with live music that rings through the building. this wasn’t a problem though as it was gentle love music and helped me sleep if anything haha.

Great for a quick stay!

Really kind owner! I only stayed for a night so I wasn’t around much but everything was clean. Not really a social place to meet people but the location was good. There’s a kitchen and drinkable water so that was really nice to have.

The music next door was pretty loud but it was a Friday night (party hits haha) so bring ear plugs ;)

The BEST Hostel in Penang! ( Ok maybe over exaggerating but easily the TOP hostel in Penang)

Overall very comfortable and clean, easily can stay here for long. Been here for a month. Fuan the hostel care taker is the BEST. He has made my stay here feel at home. And I am forever grateful to him.

great location. easy access to restaurant. For muslims, you should book a double room instead of dorm.

the transparency of the sliding door is way too translucent. its noisy oso. if you are searching for privacy, this hotek is not for you

no reception, no indication on Booking website that it was a self check in, they sent me instruction too late via email after i landed in Penang and i had no internet connection, they should have sent them the day before at least, got stuck outside as nobody to open the door for me. Place is filthy, definitely not an hotel and it shouldn't have been included in Booking.com website list as i filtered by hotels only

Host was excellent.

even by hostel standards the room was pretty basic. But comfy bed and good shower, so ok. Quite a walk to anywhere.

Great kitchen, free water, good WiFi, nice modern hostel, comfortable bed

I didn't see or interact with the staff once - they weren't around to ask questions to, and I did a self check-in. Toilet and showers are far away from the rooms, on a different floor. It's located right next to an outdoor bar/concert venue, so it's noisy at night.
