This villa has probably the best view in all of St. Francois. The three bedrooms were comfortable, all with ensuite shower rooms. The kitchen was compact but worked well. There was a wonderful sense of privacy and seclusion due to the clever positioning of the layout and the extensive plantings which provided yet another delightful view. The pool was just the right size for plunging but you could not do serious swimming which none of us wanted to, anyway. We all had a lovely, lovely time and I highly recommend Villa Tarare for anyone looking for a special place.

The small kitchen could have been designed a little better but as I said, it worked well once you got use to it. Another minor point: the first step into the pool is quite steep, ( we are all in our seventies) so we purchased and left behind a small step ladder to make entry a bit easier. No big deal. The pool was well-maintained, always clean and leaf-free.

Just loved it! The perfect place for independent, relaxing holidays. St. Francois and some nice beaches are just some minutes away by car.
