Uitstekende locatie en goede bedden, appartement ietwat gedateerd en hygiene kon beter

Super locatie & fijne bedden

Het was niet super schoon en er waren vooral in de avond/nacht veel kakkerlakken, dat laatste kan ook lokaal probleem zijn ivm alle restaurants in de omgeving

Stone cottages SAfrica camps bay

It was easy to walk back too after being out all day. Very clean ( thank you to the maids) pool was nice there was laundry room which we did not use but great if needed too.

Jones the security guy was super nice with us! The bed was comfy. The hot water in the shower was very nice as well.

First night we had no power at our room because the hadn’t top up on time. We stayed all night like that at it was freezing outside. I asked for a compensation but they never did. They told me it was not their fault but the other cottages all had light…very poor backup lights for the loadshedding…

We had an amazing time at Stone Cottage

- We were so comfortable throughout our stay at Stone Cottages , from the friendly staff (Blessings @reception) right through to the security at night . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be coming back soon soon again .

Lovely little gem. Fixable issues.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Secure place. The rooms were nicely sized. Clever layout. The kitchenette is very clever and useful Best fridge any accommodation has had. The pool and pool area is lovely The location is great Secure parking Bed was AMAZING- so big and comfy Lovely little deck Private braai areas Lovely linen and towels - beautiful white and super clean! Large shower Towel heaters The room has a heater and fan depending on weather you visiting in View was great from pool area Silent hours from 10pm - 8am

The room smelt a bit mouldy but was okay when the doors were open. There's an extractor fan in bathroom but mould is forming on the roof because the window in bathroom can't open. The curtains were strange- cool concept in theory but not very practical. The silent hours weren't enforced well. Even though I was able to phone security when people were being noisy and partying at 1am. It would have been nice for this to not have been an issue both nights we were there. Parking is a bit far from place if u have lots of luggage to pack small.

I cannot recommend the place.

Location near the front was good.

The room was not cleaned until I complained twice, nor towels changed. The room was tiny, and having a microwave machine over 2 metres high is a huge danger to anyone using it.

room was by bins and we saw rats on several occasions also the smell from the bins awful they said they would move the bins but kept just putting them back by the room

Great location, be careful which cottage you book!

Location is just great.

Cottages No 4 & 5 (we stayed in No4) are close to the waste containers storage so the smell is awfull!!!! Cockroaches in the kitchen and toilet!!! when the light goes off rats running around the Cottages can be spotted too…

nice but more for backpackers or people who are going to be out all day

location and the pool area and having the laundry

would have been nicer to have a seating area inside. the kitchen table took up the whole room and there were no comfortable chairs for relaxing in. also our area had a communal bathroom which we didn’t know about until strangers started coming into our outside space and using it

mostly great but rodent problem is a big issue

The property was lovely, apartment was spotless and staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. the location was fantastic and Camps Bay is such a beautiful place

unfortunately there was a problem with rats in the grounds. there appeared to be a rubbish collection for local restaurants close to the property and this may have been the source. very disappointing as everything else was great

Lovely area & quain

Complex itself is very nice. The 2 bedrooms in the apartment were lovely as were the bathrooms. The staff also were very nice

As we didn't have a sitting room area we had the choice of using the kitchen or outside deck. We couldn't use the deck as the smell was very bad outside from the close proximity to the bins & neighbouring restaurant. Due to this we also saw a rat on our deck & had cockroaches in the kitchen. We therefore couldn't leave the windows or doors open

Excellent location, cute pool and super comfy beds

The location of this property is absolutely excellent, a 2 min walk to the seafront. The pool area is lovely and a great place to relax. The beds are extremely comfortable and large. The studios have everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. We were in a group and many friends were staying in stone cottages at the same time. It is worth noting that there is a variety of sizes in the studios. If we were coming back to camps bay we would definitely stay in stone cottages again..super value for money.

The only thing we felt was a negative is that there is a rubbish disposal centre near the cottages and when in operation the pathway outside the complex was dirty

The apartment was well equiped and the location is very nice. But thats it. it was super tiny, there was no space for our suitcases. The floor was damaged, bedlights so small. The furniture is just cheap metal or plastic stuff. The curtains were from plastic! There is no way to make a place worse compy, than hanging big plastic curtains - we hatet it, it didnt darken the room, uit feels dirty, it makes noise, it looks ugly and it walways blocked the door. We had the last apartment and it smelled outside like trash, because there were Trash bins rightg next to the apartment. If you stay there for 1 night, I think its okay, because there price is ok for the location. but i would never ever stay there again if you want to have a nice place where you feel good with holiday mood. It wasnt cleaned within 3 days. no parking available, you must have luck to find parking.

Location was good in Camps bay. Nearby supermarket, restaurants, beach and the street to table mointain, lions head.

The place location and ambience is excellent. House keeping needs to improve

close to most amnesties

late check-in, the property wasn’t even ready by 3pm. waited for 1.30 hours no couches to relax in the seating area housekeeping comes after 3-4 nights, the house keeping staff not a friendly either. limited supplies on basics like toilet papers, dishwasher, dish cloths , garbage bags
