The are was quite and there were lovely views from the room. They have a nice parking area next to the hotel and very good breakfast.

The hotel is very clean; the staff cleans up the room everyday. The breakfast is good. It’s located in a hill, thus the view is very good.

Having a car is definitely making the trip much more easy. Otherwise it will be challenging to travel around with the limited bus and train service.

It is a lovely place, very nice location and super friendly owner.

Great spacious apartment in a beautiful old building. Location was perfect as base for hiking. Grocery store down the hill and a great little store for fresh bread at walking distance (open only in the morning). Restaurant-wise there are not that many options in Forbach but Das Waldhaus is really good (cannot say the same about Adler).

The beds were on the too firm side and the standard hotel wifi was horrendous. The coverage is bad and the portal does not work well with Apple’s recent wifi privacy measures. However the wifi was easily ‘fixed’ by plugging in a cheap wifi access point in one of the ethernet wall sockets.

Staff were very friendly. Rooms very well presented and spotlessly clean. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard. Breakfasts were simple and good. A car is advisable.

Beautiful accommodation. Old building with great charm. We had the upper floor apartment which was equipped with everything we needed for a great stay.
