The lodge is situated in the mountains and surrounded by trees. It was beautiful as it had a view over the dam. The tent was very comfortable, a nice big bed and the bathroom was very neat. Was a wonderful stay

I loved the privacy, the staff's friendliness, and the warm welcome.

Towels were not changed when cleaning was done.

The fantastic view and the amazing restaurant! The staff is the best and the location is just like a dream.

It was very pretty, felt like we were in the bush. Loved the luxury tent.

I liked the view... it was quiet refreshing and their garden is very beautiful 😍 🤩 👌 ❤️ 💕 ♥️ their food 😋 is very delicious I give the chef a 💯 %... the jacuzzi is hot 🔥 and clean even the 2 pools... the employer Kim is so friendly it's like she's known you for years... we are coming back in October again... we enjoyed the stay

No Fridge and no closet for clothes

A true natural environment and pleasant sleep in the wilderness. A mix of pools and other domestic amenities make you feel at home in the wilderness.

I picked the tent I wanted, however, if there was a microwave to warm up my lunch, that would be fantastic.

A very BIG thanks to Kim and her team for the friendliness and hospitality during our stay from 19 March to 24 March 2023. We arrived a bit early, and our room was ready. They absolutely went the extra mile to make my birthday special, with a small gift, balloons and something sweet to end off the day - a birthday I won't forget - guaranteed! The spa treatments had me feel like new. The view from our room was amazing and the food was also very good. Loved the oxtail :-)! I definitely recommend LA Montagne for a nice getaway - no matter if it's for a weekend or a week.... It's not that far to drive either.....

The owner or manager was sour and rude. we were not told that it is essential to have a 4x4 to get to the destination. The sliding door to our cabin was ssssssssssssssssssssssstuck

What’s presented on the App in terms of the pictures of the venue is what we found. and it was neat

the only thing I didn’t like was the drive from Estate gate to the lodge because we were driving in a low car. the roads were not good. one needs an SUV to go there

The overall property was good. Very clean and friendly staff members.

Its 2023 and our room didn’t have a shower. A shower head in the tub would’ve sufficed.

The view and breakfast were exceptional. The dinner was also great, we enjoyed our stay very much. However, try to accommodate gowns and morning shoes/flips for guests, that will also make the facility a 110%.

The place was not to our expectation we didn't even sleep there. We forfeited our money. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The staff are all very friendly. Ida & Mahlatse from the spa were exceptional and took extremely good care of us. The view from the room and restaurant are breathtaking. The gentleman from the restaurant I just can't remember his name took good care of us. The security is very good. The drinks are very good!

The menu is quite limited and doesn't really cater for dietary requirements. The food is quite average not that great but not terrible. The floor board in out bathroom felt a bit unstable. It would be nice if the rooms came with a small mosquito spray. The 1 side of the bed was very squeaky and a bit uncomfortable to sleep on and there is no extra blanket in the room as it does get quite cold at night.
