Amazing lovely spot. Nice cat nice room. TV was a added bonus and lovely spot in quiet lane.
Breakfast cereals were stale in their boxes and so the chickens enjoyed my breakfast. Canned fruit was offered but perhaps a fruit bowl may be more appropriate?Perhaps tell guests that heavy suitcases are not suitable for access, no disabled access or assistance is required to access buildings.

Quirky friendly place
Thin walls, could hear all noises from all other rooms

Kind owner dropped of my wallet I left behind
Would have given it more smiles but unfortunately I was unable to have a shower as it was either freezing cold or scalding hot. Big cockroach on kitchen bench but kitchen wasn’t dirty prob cause the place is surrounded by bush . Would have preferred 10am check out rather than 930am.

Location and price of the room
The pictures of another room not the one I was expecting.
Bed was horrible to sleep on

Really nice chilled vibe, easy to come and go in between going out, lovely rooms and hang out areas
Not the fault of the property at all but it’s slightly noisy when there are other people around as the floorboards make a bit of noise

easy check in.
the bedroom was clean and from the ad I thought it had its bathroom attached. a lot of cobwebs even in the kitchen with the coffee cups
I wouldn’t stay there again

Really liked the location and was very unique with all the plants! Loved the huge bed upstairs and really enjoyed our stay here!
Better wifi for tv but not a biggie!

Room was comfortable. Carly was very helpful
Not easy to get to if you don't have a car. 15 minutes walk from town or bus plus 7 minute walk. Very steep hill to entrance so could be difficult with luggage or for those who are not too fit. Outside could be better taken care of.

Cute and quirky place with everything we need!
No parking on site meant we adjusted our plans to not have a car - not a major but something for people to be aware of!

Terrific stay, felt like living in a fairy forest. So much personality. Loved the hot tub each night. Communal kitchen made breakfast and dinners easy.
Not much space for dining or sitting indoors (we came at a rainy time so couldn’t utilize the outdoors as much)

an amazing cute and quirky guesthouse. the spa was an added bonus we didn’t expect and perfect as the weather wasn’t too flash. there were fresh eggs, coffee and honey to use for breakfast. self check-in and check-out, not too many people around.
it was a bit of a hike up from the bus stop but hey - that’s Waiheke!

The leafy rainforest surrounds were peaceful and the guest space was full of character with collections of plants, books, jars, knick knacks, etcetera.
The driveway is very steep, long with uneven surfaces and there was no where safe to park.

Really cool spot - right in the bush, comfortable bed, etc. And there was breakfast available, though unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try the home-laid eggs. And Carlee was really friendly and helpful.
I guess the only thing is that if you've got luggage, you pretty much need to arrive by car, as it's up a steep hill a long way from the bus stop. I didn't realise that, so I ended up pushing my suitcase up the road. Also, the cellphone reception is poor, so I wasn't able to get a taxi on my way out.

Thank you Carlee for hosting such a beautiful place, it was really magical house with lots of plants and we really enjoyed our stay. The hot pool was amazing and the house was within 6 min walk to the bus stop. We will highly recommend this place to our friends.

lovely bush setting
run down property, should advise people of the very steep entrance, even the Taxi would not go down the drive.

Everything!! But specifically the hosts, plants, chickens, and kitty, made it feel like a home away from home!
The only flaw would be the water pressure, however being as the whole island is run from personal cisterns, I understand this is to preserve water!

Its like off the beaten track, but not to far from everything we needed (which is just a bus ride away)
That we have to walk around 500m from the bus stop to get to the place.

Quiteness, excellent value for money , lots of birdlife and quirky fixtures
A bit cold in winter, an electric blanket would have been appreciated
