We especially liked getting connected with family while Catering by Lisa took care of all the shopping and cooking food for the first three days. Without her taking care of the meals, we could not have spent the time with our family and she prepared much better meals than me. It was truly the highlight of the trip. Great property! Clean and well maintained.

Paradise! Everything was so comfortable. Daphne answered all questions promptly and Burt was always prompt if we needed anything. It felt like we had stepped in to another world. Our family of 18 loved it all and had a marvelous time together.

This was a perfect house for our family reunion. Everyone enjoyed the space and the area. The inside space was comfortable and very well set out, well furnished. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. The golf course was in good, if not great shape. The tennis court needs some love but we played pickle-ball so no complaints from us. Also the property is like staying in the tranquil woods but just a few minutes from the city. Lovely time.

We had 15 adult friends stay here for a low-key bachelor party weekend and it was great. 9-hole golf course, pool, a perfect space for yard games, several TV rooms for watching sports, plenty of sleeping rooms and multiple kitchens. We were extremely happy with our stay. Some of the areas were obviously less used and had a few cobwebs, which is the only reason I knocked a star off on cleanliness.

Our family enjoyed a all-round outstanding vacation at this gorgeous property with wonderful living and sleeping areas and beautiful grounds and amenities. Multi-age activities kept everyone from age 3 to 78 having fun and engaged with one antoher. For group experiences you couldn't ask for more.

Truly outstanding, century old summer home, updated with two modern kitchens and gorgeous bathrooms, mostly arranged en suite. The pool is unusually large, very well maintained, and a huge hit with the kids. You will need your own beach towels and pool toys. The 9-hole golf course belongs to the property, and appears quite nicely maintained, although we are not really golfers. The caretaker is instantly available and very responsive. Lake view is beautiful. There are convenient grocery stores, but when on-property, you feel like the only people in the world. Our (now) 17-member family goes to a different site every year — but this year, for the first time, the children asked if we could return to Tir NaNog.

We had such a great time at Tir Na Nog for our family vacation. It is not easy finding a vacation spot that works for our large family that ranged from two years old to eighty-two. But this spot did just that. We loved the outdoor spaces. The pool was a terrific gathering place throughout the day. The fire pit made for enjoyable times at night. We gathered on the back patio throughout the day where the view of the lake and especially sunsets were beautiful and we took advantage of tennis, basketball and golf that were part of the estate. And finally the house fit us all perfectly. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us and a well-stocked kitchen for making dinners. Thank you to Burt, the caretaker who did such a nice job taking care of the property while we were there. We had a fantastic time and would definitely consider a return trip in the future.

The estate was beautiful and the amenities were great. We played golf every day and the kids enjoyed the pool which is quite large and in excellent repair. Very hung was clean and modern and two kitchens. Highly recommend for large families. 👍

After not seeing family for over 2 years, this was the perfect spot to reconnect. We had 11 adults and 13 kids between the ages of 2 -20 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The actual house is even better in person, the pictures don't really do it justice. There was plenty of space to all be together, but also space for those that needed to find a spot for a little quiet time. Having the two kitchens and the butler's pantry was great and needed for all the food and beverages we needed for our crowd! There were more than enough plates, silverware, cookware, serving platters, etc. The outside couldn't have been more perfect. The private pool was the daytime hangout and the kids (and adults!) loved having it all to ourselves. The 9 hole golf course was used every day and enjoyed by many in the group. The back patio and surrounding grounds and lake provided the perfect backdrop to throw a graduation party for a recent high school graduate. We had a few minor issues and questions, but the grounds keeper was very, very responsive and helpful. It was also really nice to feel isolated, but really be only minutes away from restaurants, walmart, etc. We definitely plan on coming back!

Our grand-kids called it the mansion and there was certainly room for all 17 of us. It was perfect for a family reunion!

We had a blast celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.

Property was fantastic. The golf course, Lake, pool, and other items provided an amazing and relaxing time for our group.

We had a large family with ages 8 to 84 years old. The availability of the pool, the golf, the many porches and the tennis court gave us lots of room to have outdoor activities. There are a number of 'gathering places' indoors and out that let us have smaller group conversations and get some quiet time when needed. The kitchen has lots of dishes and pots and pans and a Viking cooktop and stove if you are cooking. They were 2 very minor repairs that the handyman took care of within hours. The golf course is at the 'muni course' level. We played many games of best ball and had participants of all capabilities. There are several sets of old clubs there but I suggest that you bring your own if you like to play. No need for a driver! There are grocery stores, restaurants and other activities within a very short drive. However, the property faces the lake and is extremely quiet and restful. A nice combo of retreat and convenience. The teenagers went to Six Flags and were able to Uber home. We used the tennis court for pickle ball games. The rooms are very clean and well set up with many ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen could use a good deep clean which I have told the manager about.

Great property! Enjoyed the house, pool, golf course and courts! Lots of room to roam! The grounds were very well maintained. If we needed anything, Ed and Daphane were quick to respond! They let us know about fireworks in the area for the 4th. Would stay here again!

The grounds keeper was extremely over bearing and was incapable of communicating in a professional manner. At one point he actually attempted to guilt trip people for the using the property at 530 in the afternoon while playing golf. This is a fine property, but expect every action done on the property, whether it be swimming, tennis, or golf to be reported back to the property owner. This was incredibly uncomfortable and invasive.

Our group had a great stay at Tir Na Nog - there was tons of space for everyone to hang out for the weekend. Only areas of improvement would be better directions to find the driveway from the main road, and fewer cleanup requirements. Most places I've stayed require dishes be in the dishwasher and running, this place required dishes be clean and put away, so just make sure you plan enough time in the morning for that.

The sleeping and bathroom arrangements were the best that we have had in our five years of renting a Thanksgiving get-away home. The "great" room lived up to its name, complete with dry fireplace wood. We had a minor plumbing problem, but the on-site caretaker promptly took care of the situation.

Problem areas included very poor maintenance of tennis court, golf greens, bowling green, and pool motor.
