Overpriced

Lovely view

The property doesn't accept cards, and I wasn't to be told until check-out. The nearest cash point is 20 mins drive away. It added a lot of unnecessary stress to the trip. The owner seems like a bit of a messer. The sheets were very cheap and smelt of moths balls. I booked it for a quiet few days, but the huts are very close together, and the nearby bar is noisy at night. Overall I thought it was very overpriced for what it is.

The location is just perfect!! Beautiful view of the lagoon. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Clean rooms. Very close to palolem and patnem beach.

Loved the position of the bungalows, right on the beach, in the middle of the nature. The position is strategically placed between Palolem and Patnem, both at walking distance, and extremely calm. Close to restaurants and bars but still giving the full feeling of being in contact with nature (you won't be awaken by a clacson but rather by the birds). Not luxury in the typical sense, but extremely confortable, spacious and amazing overall. On top of this, great hospitality from Alstid, extremely helpful to provide great tips and helping during the whole stay!

we had the most amazing stay over Christmas. Alstid is a brilliant host and went above and beyond to make our stay great. Lovely quiet secluded space and beautiful huts !! thank you it was fantastic!

Very good

The location is outstanding. Alsteid was a perfect host. Very helpful and honest. And we had some great conversation.

I was under the impression that all rooms had an AC. But that was not so. This can be a hindrance if you are visiting in summer. Other than this there’s absolutely no reason to complain.

If only one needs absolute solitude.....

It's calm and noise free, the mornings are good.

We need to walk a mile to go and plonk at the nearest beach and sand, there's no restaurant for breakfast or lunch or dinner, there is not even a coffee sachet to prepare a cup of coffee early morning, one needs to walk half a mile to find a shack selling coffee.

Warm and welcoming environment, serene location, we loved our stay.

Quite, serene, felt welcomed by the host who was super caring and helpful with anything we needed. Loving touches with flower pots and plants, also drinking water provided along with a tea kettle and tea bags in the bungalow. An outdoor fridge to put our fruit into and always filled with cool water bottles was a great bonus. Felt like home. Would come back anytime.

The cushions on the outside lounge chairs could use some cleaning. That’s my only suggestion:)

enjoyed a three night stay in a pretty cottage

four pretty little cottages overlooking Colomb bay. just a short walk to many restaurants in Patnem. lots of lovely pets on site.

I would definitely recommend getting one of the huts with air conditioning during the hotter times of the year as I found the huts with fan only too hot

Awesome, amazing, lovely

Loved the peaceful location, simplicity, silence, places nearby as there is no food available in the property. Host Alstid is very very kind, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful staycation with strong wifi connection

Location of the property is excellent. It has a great sea view. It's well maintaned and clean. Alstid is great host and is always available for any help. He arranged and bike and cab for us. Apart from balcony, there is a common sit out area which is lovely to spend some time.

Experience Goa like it should be at La Rocha.

Expect the place to charm you the moment you see the cosy colorful huts facing the sea. Wake up to the chirping of birds and lazy around with a book (they have multi-lingual collection) before you walk down to Palolem or Patnem beaches which are a 5 min walk in either direction. The host, Alsted, has great suggestions for dining options and activities around the place. Ashok restaurant, Kala Bahia, Cozy Nook and Art Resort cafe are some places serving good food and chill vibes.

Lots of gratitude to Alstid for a fantastic stay!!

Alstid is the perfect host! He’s figured out life in Goa and has set up four beautiful cottages by the bay. A scenic view, comfortable rooms and lots of fun is what is in store for you if you plan on staying here.. We took the non AC cottage. At night, it got quite chilly. Rooms are equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay. Alstid will tell you all the lesser known places and eateries you should definitely check out. He’s super friendly, one should definitely have a drink with him when you’re there. If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful, chill place then go for La Rocha without any second thoughts. We’re definitely going to come back again!!

Lovely place

Perfect location. Very quiet. Short walk to either Patnem or Palolem beach. Very helpful owner. Lovely cleaning lady. Would definitely return. Communal fridge and free drinking water.

Perfect stay in La Rocha made my trip even more special. Beatiful, quiet location in a small bay in between Palolem & Patnem beach. Perfect location. Beach house. Big clean comfortable with warm water. Nice and very helpful host. Close to two beaches, Palolem and Patnem about 7min walk. The big advantage of the house is its location on a quiet bay so you don't hear noise from nearby clubs and restaurants. I would recommend!
